What an onslaught!
Others might have been slaughtered. 6 men played pig pile on the frontrunning female. In last nights debate in Philly, Edwards aim was truest and the caliber was best. Obama promised to turn it on but he was outdone by Edwards. Dodd made muscular case against her on electability. Kucinich has seen a UFO!
Her one glaring error came at the tail end of the two hour debate.
She seemed to signal support for letting illegal aliens get drivers licenses in NY. But then she backed off which prompted her rivals to blast her for avoiding positions. They think her weak spot is candor. They like “calculating, triangulating, opportunistic, disingenuous,” and about thirty euphemisms for LYING. Tonight Obama told her to her face she does not tell the truth!
Republicans will beat her to a pulp in the general election for supporting drivers licenses for illegal aliens. But democrats slammed her for obfuscating. They hit her on SS for not taking a position either. She was accused of being party to Washington corruption and she was accused of being a phony.. They slammed her for voting to designate the Iranian revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization, and the hits kept coming.
It was a rough night for her, but be clear: her worst moment was prompted not by her rivals but a moderator question. All but Dodd actually support letting illegals have drivers licenses. She did not make any huge mistakes. She dodged questions and attacks. Does anybody really think Democratic primary voters don’t already know who Hillary Clinton is???? She and her husband have been dodging questions and attacks for decades. NOTHING NEW HERE PEOPLE.
The question is can 6 men convince democrats that just being a Clinton is reason enough to abandon her. Thus far despite tens of millions of dollars and 10 months of non stop campaigning against her..she has a growing lead, organization and war chest. Behind the scenes rival campaigns are appalled at how unsuccessful they have been as a collective to make any attacks stick. Tonight all the campaigns got the memo: nail her credibility and character. It will be hard to keep a unified attack going…they don’t all share a debate stage every night. Truth is if you match them up, no one candidate did better than Hillary. No one candidate beat her. It was the group that on a few occasions got the best of her. But she is still standing. 10 weeks more till the first votes. She’s gonna face much worse before the democratic nomination race is over. Then whoever the nominee is will face the GOP buzz saw. And with this democratic field republicans are salivating. The RNC is out every day or so with an attack on one or all of them…just beginning to stretch those general election muscles.

That is a cut and a slam at pigs.
A head’s up for Hillary… GW is not running in 2008!
(PSSS… I really don’t think she knows that!)
I find it ironic that Dennis Kucinich, the man who has been questioning President Bush’s mental capacity, reveled in Tim Russert’s question about him seeing UFOs with Shirley McClain, the godmother of his daughter.
The questioning showed a significant amount of attribution bias, all but annointing Hillary as the candidate elect and Obama and Edwards as waiting in the wings. These televised debates are the best opportunity to allow the public to see all of the candidates rather than the most well-funded so that they can make informed decisions about who the candidate is that best suits their needs. The media bias and apparent desire to annoint a champion is very apparent.
I love it. The debate last night was so entertaining. I was hoping the real Hillary would come out, I just did not know it would happen this early. Way to go Democrats. Give it to her again. However, I am a right of right conservative Republican.
One would think they were at the county fair watching that “pig pile” You know the one where they grease up the pig so that is so slippery that no one can hold on to it?
She so wishy-washy that it is hard to tell where she going with her answers and they’re so slick that there is nothing to hold on to when she gives them. Hillary has outdone the SLICK in Slick Willie!
America got a chance to see her for her true self; inconsistent and blowing like a weather vane in the wind of voter opinion. Is this how you define carpetbagger?
Can you say I peaked too early, Hillary?
It is no wonder to me why the Republicans want her on the ballot in November! The next few months should be fun watching Hillary try to explain her inconsistent and wishy-washy answers.
Right on the mark. Insightful and accurate. Keep up the good work
It was good to see Clinton caught in her indecisiveness last night. I am so worried she could be our next president. She has run a good campaign, thus far becasue she has not had to prove anything. She is running on popularity alone right now. The other Dems and Republicans need to press the issues on her, she’s not good at answering questions. She can’t win. She belongs in Europe not the USA! This candidiate is a puppet of the lobbiest’s that own her.
Mr. Cameron – I have never enjoyed reading/watching/listening to such an articulate report who always remains 100% objective. Keep up the fantastic job – FOXNEWS: GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE!!!
Keep up the flip-flopping BILLARY!!!
The real fun will begin once Hillary has to go face-to-face with Rudy, who I firmly believe will be the GOP nominee. Way to go Russert! For once Hillary was presented with some tough questions, no wonder she avoids FOX News like the plague!
ROFL, hillarious, a bunch of spoiled little Republican brats commenting on the blog of a journalist fraud who fabricated quotes by John Kerry in the last presidential election. Talk about a cry-baby circlejerk.
Watching the debate last night was almost as good as watching the Republican debate last week. Edwards and Obama would have fit right in with the likes of Giuliani, McCain, Thompson and the like. Quick out of the gate to condemn others but failing to announce what they will do. And if I hear one more time about McCain’s POW status. No wonder Bush said he was nuts the last time he ran.
Fox New’s response to the debate was pretty typical. They brought on a torrent of Republican and conservative guests and only a paltry scattering of Democrats here and there. You would think, following a Democratic debate, Fox News would do at least one solo interview on Hannity & Colmes, the Big Story, Your World, Fox & Friends or Fox News Live with a Democrat. No, only O’Reilly, interviewing crackpot Dennis Kucinich. The equivalent of that would be MSNBC banning everyone but Ron Paul from their post-debate coverage of a GOP debate.
You Republican weasels at Fox are so partisan it’s getting to be a bore. No matter how much you scream Republican talking points it won’t get Republicans elected. 2006 proved that, and your pathetic behavior afterward, whining in your internal company memos about “terrorists celebrating”.
LoL, crybabies.
The comment by HERE was totally rediculous. Obviously, he knows a great deal about cry babys and circlejerks!
I was hoping you’d say, “Republicans will beat her to a pulp in the general election for..”
..for all the alleged wrongdoing she and her hubby-bubba had accumulated by the end of their tenure as president and co-president. (According to the Special Prosecutor Robert Ray “the evidence was insufficient to prove beyond a reasonable doubt [emphasis mine],” even though she had given “factually false” testimony. Per Special Prosecutor Robert Ray. Make up your own mind as to her guilt.) Still, I don’t understand how Americans can forget everything this socialist couple did while supposedly acting in the best interest of Americans and as America’s top role models. Short memories the media has regarding Special Prosecutor Robert Ray, successor to Kenneth Starr, chose to not pursue indictment (emphasis mine) against Hillary Clinton, although she satisfied all of the components of an indictment (for lying). What’s that saying? If you want to know what someone will do in the present/future, look to their past? If she wins, will she stop lying second time around? If she wins, it’s the elite who put her in and not the American people. (Reference the election fraud already going on for proof.)
