Why the man looks positively alive! And he was alert enough to make a funny quip. I thought he was droopy and lazy, sleeping in a rocking chair all day. Of course, he is 8 years younger than the oldest man in the race. Funny no one EVER mentions that oldest candidate’s age. I wonder why that is?

We don’t need an amnesty shill like Huck as Prez or VP. He’s a liar and compassionate conservatism on steroids.

Holy cow! I almost had a heart attack when I read that headline. There’s no way Fred would choose Mike Huckabee.

Fred has a strong plan on Immigration and obviously Huckabee has polar opposite views. SECURE THE BORDERS, no amnesty and no in-state tuition for children of illegals. Punish employers who knowingly hire illegals.

The path to citizenship is clear! Most of our ancestors followed that same path!

Plus, Fred is a genuine conservative – fiscally and socially. AND, he’s serious about what he does and it’s NO JOKING MATTER!

GO FRED!! This country needs you!

Classic Fred! I’d prefer Thompson/Hunter, however. I watched this right after watching Fred on Charlie Rose. Fantastic interview and Fred answered with more specificity my questions on where he stands on education. He was right on!

Sounds like a winning ticket. Fred would keep Huck’s nutty immigration ideas in check.

I’m not overwhelmed with the idea.

Huckabee has a raft of dirt from his earlier political life that, on balance, is really unattractive. It is possible that the attention he is receiving is a result of this dirt being overlooked because he was second- or third-tier, and attacking a dwarf is unseemly.

Now? Watch for the long knives to come out. I rather suspect he’ll be minced into tiny cubes and the electorate will utter a collective “whoops” and that will be the end of Huckabee and his zany ministerial antics.

Fred can do better.

Fred would be lucky if Huckabee would even consider him for a cabinet position.

I think the polls show it should be the other way around, but anyway… Maybe Huckabee’s charisma and energy would rub off on Fred?

I would rather see a Huckabee/Thompson ticket myelf. To the previous commenters, you nee to do some research on Mike Huckabee’s stances on immigration. He has never been for amnesty an securing the border is one of his top priorities.
