As a 8th grade math teacher, I have to say that Huckabee is correct on education. Many students are bored in school, and education doesn’t need more money, it needs better teachers. We need to get rid of the old and lazy teachers and replace them with teachers who have the passion to teach.

Huckabee was the only Republican to get good marks from the Des Moines Register today on education. He really knows what he is talking about in this area, and I think his views on subjects such as this is why he is seeing some favor among moderate to conservative Democrats and independents.
