Keyes: Get rid of the Hot Air in Washington!

Alan Keyes has spent most of the debate insulting his Republican rivals lumping them all together. He went after them again during a question about global warming. Thompson interrupted saying answer the question about global warming. Keyes says we need to get rid of the hot air in Washington! More laughter from the press room!

Alan Keyes has made some great points, and his views are as important as they were when I worked on his campaign in 1996. However, he repeatedly ran long in his answers and spoke to issues that were not the topic of discussion.

It’s sad to see what Dr. Keyes has come to: a side show in the midst of a freak show that is the current GOP primary battle.

Tip to those who think a candidate would be great as president but he’s not electable…. vote your conscience and do not let the mainstrain media tell you otherwise.

It’s a shame that he isn’t taken more seriously. He is right. I have yet to see a politician in Washington make a real difference in our country. PERIOD! If the politicians would get over themselves and think less about what they want and more about what the average voter wants things might get done. Maybe Mike Huckabee is the kind of guy that puts his money where his mouth is. It would not do much good though when you have a Senate and House that likes to fight more than do!

The question was whether or not global warming is real and caused by human activity. In my neck of the woods, the globe warms every Spring and cools every Fall and that is not caused by Human Activity. Leave it to politicians to debate the rising / setting sun and argue over how to fund it with tax payer dollars… Alan’s delivery was off but his message made sense.

The global warming discussion seems to be heading to a place where in the future, the climate will need to be changing specifically because of human activity. Isn’t direct human control of the planet’s weather what the global warming folks think is needed to save the planet now? I would rather see peace on earth first before I pushed for weather control from a President.

I think a vote for the lesser of 2 evils is still a conscious choice for an evil. Quiver and Melanie have it right…Vote your conscience.
