I have no problem with Huckabee putting a cross in his Christmas message or using putting Christianity is his campaign. I do have a huge problem with what he said” Its a bookshelf nothing more than a bookshelf. Thats a obvious lie!!

During his Christmas message,there is a huge lighted cross conveniently located directly to the left of his head. The books have been taken off the bookshelf as to not blur the line of the cross. I wonder how long it took the set up that camera angle so that light is hitting the bookshelf just right.

Again I have no problem with the cross, but don’t lie about it.

A bookshelf huh? Well I guess Mr. Huckabee does not read much because I didn’t see any books on the shelf. Of course, that would explain why he is never current on any of the issues.

Thanks for the info Huckster, but we all know you wanted it to look like a cross. It is just disappointing that you don’t have the backbone to stand up and take responsibility for your own actions.

Sounds like someone needs to go back and study their American history and find out why our forefathers wrote and what they meant by “seperation of church and state” I wont take the time to teach it but hopefully we Americans will take the time to truly learn and understand our constitution.

By the way he also mentioned the word Christmas and Christ, aren’t thoughs no no’s in our “political correct” society. I do not hear anyone screaming about that. May God send Revival to America and reveal His son Jesus as the Christ to America’s heart! A president that does not bow to political correctness, but rather runs a nation under the authority of God’s word is what America needs. Huckabee 08′

Who cares. It is a cross it isn’t a cross….he is hijacking Christmas for his own political ends either way. I am fine with someone wishing me a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy Holidays, or Eid Il-Ftr. I am a bit annoyed that the good Ole’ Huckster came out and said “Hey Lets get away from politics and I will wish you a Merry Christmas” (hint hint, wink wink, hey look at me I am a Christian I have no other platform so look at me. I am not being politcal, just vote for me.)
If it was about Christmas he would have put out the same add during his Governership. It is all politics so don’t say it isn’t when it is and don’t hijack Christmas to do it.

NO, our country was founded by Christians … NOT, on Christian beliefs. Why then were our founders so adamant about separating church and state? Their genius was knowing politics and religion do not mix. In fact, they knew the mix was dangerous.

This is not political correctness speaking, it’s the Constitution!!!
