McKinney for President :)
Cynthia McKinney is running for President! The former 6 term Georgia democratic congresswoman is famous for hitting a capitol hill police officer and questioning whether President Bush knew about the 9-11 attacks in advance.
Now she lives in San Francisco and is a GREEN PARTY member.McKinney has been making speeches and mulling a bid for some time.
This week she posted a 5 minute web video on runcynthiarun.org in which she says “The Democrats are no different than their Republican counterparts, eat out of the hands of corrupt lobbyists and feed at the same corporate trough. I am proud to say that the Green Party is my new political home,”
After 5 terms in office McKinney was ousted in 2002 following the firestorm over the the 9-11\Bush questions. Her father suggested she lost in 2002 because of “Jews.” She won her seat back in 2004, then slugged the capitol cop and lost it permanently in 2006.
McKinney joins at least six other Green Party candidates (including Ralph Nader) planning to run for president. McKinney’s web page solicits donations and discusses being on ballots in several February 5th primary states and collecting petitions for ballot access in several big states in next years general election. The Green Party holds its convention in Chicago next July

I have to commend McKinney on one thing, she is right about Democrats and Republicans feeding at the same Corporate trough, however she does not possess good reasoning skills, therefore she would not understand how to lead. No thanks, I will pass. http://www.ronpaul2008.com
Cameron,
My main criteria for choosing the next president of the United States are: “good role model for our kids and young adults”, those who are still in a formative state and, equally important, “strong power of analysis”. Presidential look, polished presentation etc. are less important to me.
I always enjoy your reports.

[...] Ralph Nader or McKinney? [...]
Ummm, you are wasting electrons with this article!
I’ve been watching you every day for years on Brit Hume and you are great. I dunno why you were the WH correspondent for such a short period of time.
Go Rudy!
I would like to ask her couple of quations:
1. what is she driving?
2. Speaking of peace and rights, is she prolife or prodeath?
3. I would like to see her voiting record and accomplishments
I hope that you will ask to.
Alls I have to say to this is I would rather vote for a baboon!!!!! God help us if she thinks she could run a country!!!!
Thank you Carl for the smile on my face today. Just imagining Rep. McKinney as our next President hit the spot for this holiday season. I thought that Mr. Keyes was a barrel of laughs at the last debate, but wait — Rep. McKinney. Could it get any better than that?
As a former Georgia resident who lived not very far from where Ms. McKinney (supposedly) represented good people, I can say that the best thing they did was to vote her out.
She is a disgrace, and if the Green Party embraces her, they will slip further into the status of “out-of-touch-with-reality” than they already are.
As she so perfectly depicted when she slugged the Capital Police, she epitomizes the phrase “chip on her shoulder.”
how can she run a country when she could not run a state.does she think running a country is running a girl’s guide?I feel cursed to hear her speak a word on governance.shame on whoever supports her.
Unfortunately, I have had the displeasure of the embarrassments of Ms. McKinny and her father. Seeing him in action told me where she had gotten her psychopathologies from- her famly. I now see her running with the Green Party; I can see that she is also a political moron.
IS SHE DRINKING AGAIN, OR SMOKING THAT FUNNY STUFF, OR BOTH.
BLACK MAKE IT SO HARD TO BE LIKED A TINY,TINY ,TINY ,TINY, BIT………………SM
Incredible–America is truly the land of opportunity…and 2nd chances, and 3rd chances, and 4th chances….
I would have expected to see something like this to come out of Venezuala or Cuba.
Her chances of success make Al Sharpton’s last bid look like a dead-ringer.
Run-cynthia-run-away.
Cynthia McKinney…trodding all over the party that loved her for years, in favor of the green party…we have known in GA for *years* that this woman is a total unabashed idiot, a fool, a pickaninny. However the neo-cons enjoyed having her around in order to provide an easy target. Nobody will take her seriously as a presidential nominee. Who feeds and houses this fool in California…?
What’s sadder is that with the exception of Ron Paul, she would probably be a better president than all the other completely corrupt Republicans and Democrates.
Cynthia McKinny for President?
Heaven help us!! We are not that bad off yet, are we?
Cynthia McKinny for President?
PLEASSSSSSSE!! We are not that bad off are we??
Heaven help us that we would even use McKinny and President in the same sentence!!
I like Cynthia McKinney. Of course she has no shot at a nationwide election, but the lady is tough & honest. I’ll take a real lady like her over a corporate backed, politco zombie any day of the week.
Well, she must have sat too long in a California hot tub and finally cooked what brain was left.
Thank you, Carl, for a most amusing article.
McKinney for president- ha ha ha ha ha ha, (ROFL/LMAO)^3!
I lived in Georgia for nearly eight years during the Cynthia McKinney show. If she can be marginalized to the dung heap of history by her constituents in a liberal district in metro Atlanta, I am sure the Democrats are from crying over a lost party member and the Green Party is far from praising their good fortunes about getting her membership. Cynthia McKinney is an embarassment to any political party. Her lack of self control and imflammatory comments have marginalized her. Maybe the Green Party is a good fit.
I can not wait to vote for McKinney, she has stood with us all. Thanks Cynthia!
