I am boycotting FOX and their monoply on media. It was a very bad decision from the Murdock camp to exclude RON PAUL. One of the most wonderful (so called values) of the American way of life is equal opportunity therefore FOX NEWS can not longer claim FAIR and BALANCED. Hypocritics!!!

I think Romney won the debate tonight. Both McCain and Huckabee proclaim that they are running positive campaigns, but they are just as negative as Romney--and probably more so because they both are more personal in their criticism. There also tends to be a holier-than-thou attitude in many of their comments that is quite disingenuous. Romney was by far the most eloquent in tonight's debate and seemed to have the best command of facts. Though I know it was important for each candidate to distinguish himself from his opponents--and in many cases this was pretty much a result of the questions presented by Chris Wallace--nonetheless I have been disappointed in general in the Republican debates in how much more they criticize fellow Republicans more than the Democrats running. I have to say that I have noticed that often McCain smiles and almost laughs on the outside when I have the feeling that he is seething on the inside--such as on the age question--and it makes me a little uncomfortable. I don't think the Luntz focus group was contrived in favor of Romney because up to this time (in several other debates( the Luntz groups have been very unfavorable to Romney. The closest thing to that I can say is that in many of his focus groups there seems to be a consensus that gives me the feeling they have discussed the candidates openly before going on the air, which may result in some subtle inter-group persuasion. Certainly Luntz seems to know what the person he calls on is going to say.

I am still undecided on who I will support, but I will not support Romney. He seems arrogant to me. He will say something and then when he is called on it he "amended" what he says to not sound like such a jerk. I am not sold on Huckabee, but I agreed when he said that he would answer Romney's questions any more.

reguards to this nights discussion---everyone did not get equal time ---and it would not be polite to interrupt ----so what was Rudy and Fred to do? Questions were execellent---could you please do this again soon--and just go right down the line with the questions--do not want to hear about the differences between the other 3--just need to know how they would bring about change in a realistic way---Rudy and Fred did this---- but some how feel like those who came on fox news after the discussions missed it and so did Fox News--sincerely, barbara campbell
PS like Fred's plans and like the way he wants to keep us informed and Rudy's passed performance speaks for itself--the other 3 have issues about there past performances and issues among themselves----so now lets get behind the people that will be the best for our country-again-thank you for this opportunity--sincerely-- barbara campbell

Ok...listen. I am a young voter and I am watching this god-forsaken debate. Clinton and that old guy are getting on my last nerve. Jsut the way they think they are entitled to the presidency. I wish that these people would start talking about the real issues. They are going to be in this place for 8 years and all they mention is change; healthcare and getting out of the war. So what are they going to do with the other 7 years? I want to know their stance on every political issue that is going on today. From Bin Laden to conspiracy theories about the government, such as G.W.Bush blowing up the towers. I think that the other 2 guys are pretty good, but i want to hear more about their stance on certain illigal substances. I would like to see alchohol illigal. It has done too much damage to too many people.

I've been watching this past week while everyone at Fox tells us Romney is finished. I felt FoxNews was pro Rudy. Funny how I feel fox news is anti-Rmoney and now some feel they are pro romney. Without the focus group, Romney would have been ignored. The focus group finally made the pundits call it as they see it.

Another reality check is to watch the blogosphere. Last night there was tons of activity that Mitt handled the attacks. Now there is a flood of Mitt praise tonight. I say listen to the people and what they decide. No more pundits telling us how to interpret it.

I think Mike Huckabee was very strong. He is the only candidate in this party speaking to the concerns of the middle class and real America. He also had an excellent answer on immigration, in which he rose above the bickering over "amnesty" records and instead focused on a forward-looking, sensible message of simply solving the problem. He seems very principled.

I could not disagree more with Luntz's "focus group" of "undecided voters." I think Romney comes across as arrogant and out-of-touch. I also did not appreciate the free air time of two of Romney's attack ads smearing two of the candidate there on the stage. That wasn't fair and balanced.

Did "Campangn Carl" in his post forum analysis use his notes from last night debates on ABC? I thought Mitt Romney defended his positions with conviction and articulately. I also disagree with Mort K who stated that all candidates did a good job defended their various positions. M. Huckabee couldn't even honestly respond directly to M. Romney's question on "net spending". It took Mitt three separate times before the question was answered; and then an excuse was offered. I respect J. Mc Cain for his dedication and service to our country, but is it necessary for him to remind us of this at every turn. And R. Guiliani, as we all know is from New York etc.!!!!!
Washington needs "new blood" to shake it up.
