Campaign Carl,
Please do us a favor and stop with the Huckabee wannabee coverage. You bash Romney every time you open your mouth and its getting old. NH is NOT a must win, Romney is NOT massively dialing down his expectations. McCain is a once and done… Huckabee will never look presidential and your coverage needs to be a little less tranparent. Your bias is showing through…
Mr. Romney, needs to realize that the kitchen gets hot…if he wants to stay in it he should quit whining about it being “personal” every time one of the other candidates responds to his inaccurate/untrue attack ads. He is way off base attacking anyone’s position on pardons and illegal immigration. I am not even sure that Massachusetts HAS a death penalty. But, they certainly DO HAVE sanctuary cities!
McCain was right…we don’t want to hear constant bickering over WHO has the strongest Illegal Immigration policies…it is time to move on! The way the problem is address today…after the arrival of 15 million illegals is much more important than the way it has been addressed in the PAST when the life-boat was only half-full.
Carl Cameron – I think you have that Huckabee smile… lol
But can you PLEASE talk to the people at Fox News. Luntz’s UNdecided “focus groups” are a total sham. Romney’s supporters pulled the wool over Luntz when they said that they were undecided….
After the debate, they all (except for couple) supported Romney. If that is accurate, Romney will get 99% of the vote tomorrow. FAT CHANCE. It’s NOT professional and wastes good air time.
Campaign Carl,
I enjoy your reporting, but why no news on Fred Thompson?
Sorry to complain. According to realclearpolitics.com John mccain is the frontrunner(national poll)at 20%.New yorks mayor is second place at 19%. huckabee is at 18.6% then mitt at 12.7. This does not make since. Mittopened up a can on you know what and won the debate by a landslide! the guy (mitt) who won the debate, his nation average lowered by 2 % . Can someone please explain this to me? The losers of the debate rose in national averages. Doesnt make sense
I am not positive, but isn’t there a chance of this guy popping up as a muslim – if he were elected, it would be too late. He seems to be a good talker, I dont trust him.
I do not want a muslim yet and I am not sure of a black or a woman president either They both seem nice enough but not for President.
Re: Open borders McCain
It’s amazing how so many so-called conservative republicans support an open borders, pro-amnesty candidate. We have a fifth column in our party who need to be exposed for who and what they are.
McCain may be the only person that can realistically beat Clinton or Obama in the National Election. Look at the trend line polls on the link above. I also feel that McCain would prove a more effective leader in dealing with Foreign Officials. Could you see any of the other candidates sitting across a negotiating table with Putin? Stubborn won’t budge attitudes and “oh, poor thing we’ve been so wrong in Foreign policy, Sorry” players won’t work. Firm, solid, proactive, unafraid “I know how to play the game better” leadership will work.
Thank you Mark. I agree. I support Romney and also think Fox is being too biased against him. But also, what about Ron Paul and Thompson and the other candidtaes? They haven’t dropped out yet and still deserve attention from the press.
Let’s be objective and not biased please?
It is interesting that no one has really mentioned Mitt Romney’s win in Wyoming which puts him in the lead for republican delegates and even if he comes in second in New Hampshire, he will still have the lead in delegates. I am an undecided voter, but after the last two nights of Debates for the Republicans, I am beginning to think that Romney has shown calm under pressure and has been able to back his record amazingly where McCain and Huckabee could not even back there’s(especially at Fox News debate last night – which if you missed, you must see to make a real decision on the Republican primary candidate). Mitt challenged Huckabee on his tax increases while Gov of Arkansas (in which he raised taxes by a net total of $500 million during his tenure as Gov), and Huckabee kept evading Mitt’s question and coming back with personal attacks instead of explaining his record. I don’t think Huckabee is a bad guy and was even following him a little with some of his politics, but after his inability to defend not only that issue but also his illegal immigration stance, I have found that he is pretty much a waffler on his record. Mitt also challenged McCain on his record of Amnesty of illegal immigrants (which if you look at May of 2003 – John McCain gave this quote – “I think we can set up a program where amnesty is extended to a certain number of people,” McCain said. “Amnesty has to be an important part, because there are people who have lived in this country for 20, 30 or 40 years, who have raised children here and pay taxes here and are not citizens.”). McCain adamantly said that he has NEVER supported Amnesty and never will and called Mitt a liar, but Mitt came back firm, asking again and again for McCain to clarify his amnesty bill he proposed and supported just a few years back and McCain could not do it. He instead did something very typical of a democrat, not a republican – instead of defending his record, he tried to appeal to emotions and said “I don’t want to tell someone that I have to deport their grandmother…” I’m sorry, but if you can’t withstand Mitt’s questions and clarifications – you certainly can’t handle tougher questions that will be thrown at you from the democrats if you win the primary nomination. Mitt showed real coolness and I think he has found a new supporter in me. He can win the presidential nomination! Especially agains Obama who shows more flowery talk than really substance. Mitt has the substance.
Carl, Please keep in mind that we have a tremendous amount of former Mass. voters, now living in NH, that claim they are Independents. If McCain wins the Primary it is because of dishonest cross over votes by Democrats in Independent’s clothing. They know that McCain doesn’t have a ghost of a chance in winning the General election thus their vote. Romney is the candidate they fear!
There is a new voice in a America and to many it sounds foriegn. That new voice is the American People. Its not about Barack, its about what he stands for that’s winning him this election. Hope, Change, returning the goverment to the American People. I heard one candidate call this rhetoric
Just wondering how you came up with the selection of which candidates to report the percentage supporters? I noticed you left some out who had more percentage of votes than others….
McCain all the way.
Has always been my choice, even in 2000
Carl, unfortunately I completely agree with Mark and I just watched you joke with Huckabee in the diner about it. We think you’re great, Carl, but your bias is showing through. We are not electing an Entertainer in Chief. I love Huck’s smile, his music, his humor, but he has shown several times (as he did in the debate last night – taxes, what taxes???) that he’s not prepared to be in the Whitehouse.
Since our family gets our news ONLY from FOX, and since you’re the Republican source of on-the-ground information for Fox, please let us have a little less bias in your reporting. It’s going to be a long race. Thanks!
I hope the folks in New Hampshire see through Obama’s slick, charming tongue. He is running on the same platform as Bush did. Bush sucked everyone in with his country boy charm and look where that got us!! Obama sings a lot of hoopla about what he wants to do but he NEVER says what he has done already! That should concern alot of voters!!
Clinton has been straight up with all her cards on the table and she has discussed her accomplishments, past and present. She has the education, determination and the experience to be a fantastic president! So what if she is not charming like Obama. This is a presidential election not a social popularity election.
Lets not make the same mistake we made with our country boy Bush by voting for another slick talker!!!!!
ASK YOURSELF ONE QUESTION: WHAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS HAS OBAMA MADE IN THE PAST? NO ANSWER? EXACTLY!!!
VOTE FOR CLINTON!!!!!!!
If we elect Hillary do she and Bill expect Chelsea to be next?
I think we’ll see Romney win in New Hampshire when all is said and done. He was very impressive in the forum last night, and I think what we saw with the Luntz focus group said was right. He presents a positive, forward-looking vision for the country. In recent days, McCain has come across as someone who wants to win because he hates Romney. With McCain and Huckabee ganging up on Romney, and Romney rising above the fray, I think he is now properly being seen as the strongest candidate to go up against someone like Barack Obama, who has a message that people want to hear: hope. Romney can inspire Americans more than McCain, and Romney has the executive skills to back up his inspiring message by finding and implementing solutions to problems.
We always enjoy your political coverage and find you to be “fair and balanced” in your reporting, definitely not boring! From what we have seen and heard about Gov. Huckabee it would be difficult to “not” enjoy speaking with him. However to follow Huck’s lead: Be kinder and gentler in dealing with him!! Hope you enjoy the Huckaburger!
the Shoemakers
I like how my comment was not posted because it was about Obama and his platform of lies. I see now that Fox is slanted and only accepting the comments they like!! I have watched fox news for years and its ending today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Carl,
Just the facts, please. We don’t dial in for your opinion. Leave the opinionization to CBS, ABC, NBC, PMSNBC, and PBS.
I think Carl Cameron is very unfair to Mitt Romney and is always falsely uplifting Huckabee. Now whenever Carl comes on TV, me and my group of friends just change the channel. That’s pretty sad when your slogan is “We report and you decide”. I think Carl needs to be fair to all the candidates before FOX News loses more viewers. I and my freinds all plan on writing a letter to Fox News in regards to this disappointment! Thanks. I completely agree with the above comment and there are so so many more viewers that are just changing the channel instead!
You, and fox news keep writing Romney off if he doesn’t win here or there. He is the best in the rep. field. I lived in Michigan when his dad was governor an he was a good governor. When he ran for president, people people stopped him because of his religion, the same as you in the news media an Huckabee are doing to Mitt on your coverage. Born again christians are not only ones who are right and they are not the only ones who believe in god , they only believe its there way or no way.
It appears that Fox News generally and some reporters (Carl Cameron in particularly) want Hucklebee first and McCain second to be the nominee. I want to hear more about Romney, Guliani, Thompson. I am voting for a president, not a preacher or a war hero. Does a preacher /governor who raises taxes and skirts around answers have the credentials to be a president? Does a ‘war hero’ have qualifications to be president? Frankly, I am tired of both. being pushed into the limelight. I want substances.
The same on the Democratic side. The one person who has the qualifications on all levels is Richardson. Why isn’t he in the limelight? The media creates and takes away. Shame on the media–with its yellow journalism–including Foxs News.
Why is it that with Frank Luntz focus group he uses the same people from Iowa and NH? He clearly states that he has undecided voters from IA with the debate in Iowa and now he has “undecided voters” from NH but uses the same people.
youtube.com/watch?v=nPQNdj3NqXE
There is a you tube video out that exposes his scam. Fox should not be apart of this.
My support goes to Governor Mitt Romney, the only candidate who talks about the real issues facing the American People. He is the only one that can improve on the Economy, illegal immigration, health care and taxes. Go Mitt. McCain and Huckabee did not want to talk about these issues during the debate, instead they gave cutesy answers and tried to avoid answering. The moderator Chris Wallace gave McCain chances to answer and he avoided the questions.
Carl,
Your relentless advocacy for Huckabee is inappropriate on the “fair and balanced” network. Your negative reporting on Mitt Romney all weekend was frustrating, but your Monday morning chase of “Huckaburgers” is a laughing stock. Romney is the ONLY Republican choice if the Democrats are to be defeated in the general election. Mitt demonstrated his astounding intelligence and leadership in the Fox Forum last night and you couldn’t even report the obvious. Com’on Carl…you’re better than that!
Romney was clearly in charge of the Republican Forum last night in New Hanpshire. The focus group of independent voters clearly stated so. Why is this not being covered? Carl Cameron continues his love affair with Huckabee and spent as much time covering his Huckaburger as a serious reporter should have spent on serious issues. Carl is so biased. I always thought FoxNews was above this juvenile style of reporting.
Its interesting if your read the blogs how they are predominatly Pro Romney. I believe political bloggers are passionate about politics and do their research and are the best versed in the issues. If Fox would let Romney get his message out and quit tryign to predict doom and gloom for Mitt he might have a chance. Fist they drool over Huckabee and now Mcain …anyone but Romney. He won the debate hands down has more delgates (and will stiill have after tommorow) than any other candidate. There will be 47 states to go and for Fox to count out Mitt hafter winning one losing one and finishing no worse than second in either one does him a great diservice. Carl ahs been doing this form the beginning at least CNN gives Romney fair and balanced coverage.
Why isnt Carl predicting doom and gloom for Guilani when he will have finished 4th in the first 3 states? Why aren’t they predicting gloom and doom for Huckabee when he finished with no votes in Wyoming and will at best get 3rd in NH losing in two staes in a row (not even finishing second)sounds like a free fall to me but not the way fox news spins it…they say he is surging.
After Saturday’s debate which couldn’t be aired until the next day, I watched Cameron and Huchabee laughing and joking about how foolish Romney looked. Huchabee was bragging how he and Senator McCain were all over him and gave the impression that Mitt Romney did poorly. When I listened to some of the more intelligent commentators, the story was quite different. Romney has suffered some personal insults from Huckabee who is trying to portray himself as “Mr. Nice Guy” when all he does is double talk and never answers a question. I think Carl Cameron is doing a disservice to the viewers at Fox news ‘fair and balanced’ by downplaying Mitt Romney’s wins at the debates. I think he should be replaced on the campaign trail by someone who is more astute like Bret Humes who can discuss issues openly and fairly. This issues being discussed are serious to the people of this country. It’s one thing to crack a joke; it’s quite another to get positive attention for acting like a fool who has nothing to say double talks to the media and gets away with it. Shame on Fox.
In response to Nate:
The polls usually take 2 to 4 days to complete. For this reason, the polls would not show the effect of the debates for at least a couple of days.
The NH primary will be over before the effect of the debate would show even show up in the polls.
Another good reason not to follow polls.
Actually, I think ONLY Huckabee stands a chance to beat Obama. Just think a minute, with Obama’s ability to do the high talks, who else can stop him? Romney? People will side with Obama because he’s totally different from Romney, and most Christians will probably sit out the votes (I will for sure!). Ultimately there’ll be more dems voting, and Obama will win if it’s Romney. If it’s McCain, it’ll be like Clinton vs. Obama, with Obama showing as young and energetic and nice talking, McCain is white, old, and people’s sympathy will go to Obama who would show as if a victim if ever criticized by McCain. Giuliani would look like a bully when he’s vs Obama. So basically in my honest opinion, Republican should put Huckabee in front of Obama, then Obama’s so-called hope and youth and change won’t stand that firmly anymore, and faith subject to show Americans whether you want to give Christian faith a lift or give Muslim faith a lift, either way, there will be a lift on either side. It’s just obvious from a cool observer. And when Huckabee is out there battling Obama, then you have more Christians coming out of their way to vote, to counteract the overwhelming youth coming out votes, and then there’s a slim possibility that Rep. could win in the end. Otherwise, it’s sure we’ll have President Barak Hussein Obama as the symbol of the superpower of this world, commander-in-chief, president of the only superpower in this world. Just stop a minute and think the implication of that name representing the symbol of United States. The signicance is HUGE! Really HUGE! Maybe the world will conclude there’s no more racism in US, true, that’s a pro, but the con is, the world will also perceive that muslim faith will eventually capture more countries in the end.
Campaign Carl!
I loved your quote about ‘picking presidents’ in NH… Thanks for keeping the campaign trail colorful!
I’m more concerned about FOX’s coverage since Romney & Hillary’s defeat in Iowa. Is it just me or have Fox reporters & pundits been hammering away at Huckabee, Obama & McCain in an attempt to revive Romney’s campaign? I realize a race without Hillary might cause a reduction in ratings, but give me a break.
I also question Frank Luntz’ so-call “focus group” last night. I found it extremely suspicious that the vast majority of the undecideds in attendance were so enthusiastically willing to raise there hands in favor of Romney. I watched the debate and Romney in no way dominated it to the extent Luntz’ group indicated. Who are these people? How were they selected? Hmmm
Lastly, FOX please stick to reporting the news and stop trying to create it. The likes of O’Reilly showing up to instigate a scuffle and the other obvious bias in reporting causes you to stray far from being “fair & balanced.”
I watched the debates on saturday night. No need for spin from any reporters. Romney clearly had answers and could defend them. Please Please tell me all of the canidates religions so I really won’t have to think about the issues facing our country. I can let the reporters decide my vote. The bias is too thick..
How come Frank Luntz uses the same people in both states of IA and NH in his focus groups?
We noticed as well as others.
youtube.com/watch?v=nPQNdj3NqXE
Hannity just announced over the radio that the latest Rassmussen poll shows Romney within 1 point of McCain— Hmm—-
I strongly believe Mitt won the debate on Fox. McCain is an angry little man. He will not defend his record; if the facts of his record are pointed out, he calls them attack ads, and negative campaigning. Yet, McCain has no compunctions about calling Mitt an “agent of change” in a snide way, and no restrictions on his own negative campaigning, which is truly personal attacks on the man. I don’t like him or trust him at all. If he says “my friends” one more time, I am going to scream. You know when he says “my friend(s)” that the next thing is going to be a condescending explanation of what only he knows to be true or right. I don’t remember seeing such a hateful, arrogant, despicable person trying to win people over to vote for him. I hope the voters of New Hampshire will vote for the best man (Mitt) and not allow the out-of-staters to take over their election. Don’t saddle us with John McCain, who cannot possibly win in the general election.
MITT CLEARLY WON! He has an optimistic goal for the future of our country & I love that. We need a fiscal conservative to take over & he’d be excellent on the War against Global Jihadists. Those so called “attack adds” are really “EXPOSURE ADDS”, Huckabee & McCain don’t like to have to defend THEIR RECORDS! Winning in Wyoming is a great indication of where his campaign is going.
McCain tried hard not to be a jerk last night (tried at least). I do respect him as a military hero, but he’s way too bombastic to be President. Plus, his aliance with the far left leaves me not to trust him(ie…gang of 14, McCain/Feingold, defected with Ted Kennedy on education, disapproved of Bush’s tax cuts, & weak on immigration).
Huckabee’s a piece of work..He may have stretched the truth a wee bit last night…Wal-Mart funded most of the road improvements I even think Tyson Foods did as well. He also outright lied about a “court order” to force tax increases…against the law to do that…
What form of econ do you practice?
Huckabee kept Arkansas down in every statistic…
He gives conservatives a bad name…is he prejudice against Mitt because he’s a Mormon, he’s been successful, or maybe because Romney’s EXPOSED his failures & makes him accountable for his record, or is it a combo of all?
His team keeps calling Rush whining & complaining like a typical lib…we’ve already had a jazz musician from Arkansas as president & we don’t need another one. Huckabee says all day, everyday…he doesn’t want to move laterally, but vertically…with him it’s down!
A win in Wyoming, 2nd in IA (with the large % being Evangelical Christians) & a close race for #1 in NH is fantastic!
GO MITT, keep exposing the truth, spreading optimisim, & the American Dream!
.
Think about it:
Romney #2 in Iowa
Romney #1 in Wyoming
Romney #2? in NH
Romney #1 or 2 in Mich.
Huckabee wins SC (gee I wonder why? Baptist St?)
Guiliani wins FL
Romeny #1 or 2 in NV
Romney seems more consistent in being #1 or #2 than the others. It’s all over the board for the other candidates.
I don’t vote until February 5, but I am now comfortable saying my vote is for Mr. Romney. There are so many issues that Washington needs to fix and all the candidates have really good band-aids for them. These issues including healthcare, social security, education, defense spending all need comprehensive overhauls and there is no way possible to overhaul anything until our federal budget is fixed. We can not continue spending the way we are and not evenutally hit a brick wall. No matter how large or how small a budget is, we all know that. Mr. Romney is the only one of the eight candidates that truly addresses the issue. Mr. Romney has made a lifetime of turning failing finances around. He will do it for America too.
Why is Carl C. always pushing Huckabee? The only thing he says about Romney is he has a lot of money. How about he has a message or a good debate last night. He spent more time with some kind of hamberger with Huckabee than I could believe. Spent time saying constantly Mc Cain ahead of Romney. Remember fair and balanced.
Carl would you please ask the candidates what kind of US Supreme Court Justice would they appoint. I believe there wil be couple of openings in the next four years and that will affect our lives for years and years not just the next four. I will base my vote on this.
I am wondering why all the republican candedates are attacking Mitt R so much, is he the man to beat? He sure looks very presidential to me, he has a good record, but what I like the most about him is his solid belief in the importance on the Family and all the issues that concern Family values, on the other hand we have Mr Mcain, how many times he has run for the Republican ticket, I don’t think there are records that go back that long, what is he now 71 YRS OLD, is this something we the voters need to be concern with, come on, we can do better than an old politician who has been there for ever, if someone represents very well the Washington politician is Mcain, we need someone with new ideas, a proven winner like Mr Mitt R…
I totally agree with Mark in the first post, I thought campaigne Cal Huckabee Cameron was going to step on his lip when he reported on Romney’s good performance in the debate. Fox is loseing its appeal to me. If McCain is the nominee I will sit this election out, I can not vote for McCain or whoever the democrat will be.
Campaign Carl,
Your anti-Mitt Romney stance is blatently obvious everytime you speak about the candidates. I’d like some unbiased reporting out of you for a change. Now that I’ve ehard your obvious pro-McCain/anti-Romney near bigotry 4 or 5 times, you are starting to not just look like Alan Comes, now you sound like him.
Please get off Fox News. I like Fox News.
I actually think Romney would be a great president… just like McCain’s experience more.
If Romney gets the nomination, I would certainly support him.
One last thing, I think Wallace was anything but equitable in granting equal time last night. Romney and Huckabee were allowed to dominate the time.
Boy are you going to gag! Huckabee is #1 in the national polls… LOL
If this is the way Republicans are thinking, I’m changing parties!
Carl,
You are a nice guy but you report we decide remember? Please stop slanting your reports
Why don’t we elect Mitt Romney as President and let John McCain be Sec of Defense?
McCain’s too old and Huckabee needs to revive “Green Acres” or play bass with a gospel group.
I think you are influencing the vote against Romney…good example was when you took the negative ad that Hucklebee decided not to show and put it on Fox News exclusively. I was very disappointed in Fox. You told Greta you wouldn’t say where YOU got it. I think that is terrible. You were beaming when Hucklebee won. It’s clear who you were for. Either that or you are a Democrat and you would like nothing more than to see Romney lose.
Bill bit his bottom lip and felt everyone’s pain and now Hillary has tears in her eyes and asks that everyone feel her pain – the quality of the acting at Clinton Studios is awe-full (it truly leaves the audience full of awe). Here is today’s betting man’s proposition – if Hillary blows up and fails to secure the Democratic nomination, how long does Bill stick around? Now, I know that he professes total admiration for his dedicated and admittedly long-suffering wife and would have all the world believe that he cannot think of anyone else he would prefer to spend an evening with but …..
I think the best ticket would be Romney/Petraeus. Having the smartest business executive and the smartest military sage leading this country would be phenomenal.
McCain is indicating just a one term presidency which would make him, as he said a lame duck president from day one. This isn’t the best strategy for the GOP’s future.
Plus he’s been in Washington forever and not a lot of accomplishments. I think he was good on the surge but I think in the final analysis Bush listened to Petraeus on this issue not McCain.
[...] FOX News Poll: Obama Leads in New Hampshire, Clinton Slips to Second and McCain Makes Late Surge to … [...]
Among the celebrities walking the streets of the Granite Street on election day will be Boston’s “Big Dig Life Vest Man” – pls see: http://www.bigdiglifevest.com when Christopher Tingus a native of Milton, MA and Harwich, MA (Cape Cod) will be holding a John McCain sign walking in his full gear which has been seen on CNN globally and in newspapers and television, his yellow rain slicker, his bright orange “Big Dig Life Vest” and his construction helmut and boots.
Tingus, an international new business/project development consultant by profession asks how a guy like Mitt Romney can even believe he can be President when he practically did nothing to get the people’s monies back in the Big Dig, some $16Billion…that’s right…$16Billion which has already cost Life and with the shoddy construction and politicizing promises a future of uncertainly for the federally funded seven mile remake of Boston’s inner city highway. Tingus contends that billions of dollars were spent unnecessarily and when Tingus called for a “big Dig Congressional Hearing” in Washington, Romney looked the other way as did so many Massachusetts politicians.
Tingus, a long-time advocate for public safety and first responders – police, fire and EMT’s – while acknowledged for his passion and commitment in public safety by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Senate and House of Representatives belives that there must be something in the water that every Massachusetts Governor drinks as every Massachusetts Governor obviously thinks that they should be President of the United States even if unqualified.
Christopher Tingus, standing for three years and 1,491 hours in blizzards and cold and rain for three long winters to muster 6,000+ citizen petitions to reopen a closed fire station compromising local public safety which today is the busiest fire station serving the community will hold John McCain’s sign in New Hampshire as he is the only many who can be entrusted to serve the interests of the average Joe who knows that not only is $16 Billion a rip off for the Big Dig Project in Boston, but knows that the economy is suffering badly and they can only rely on one man, John McCain!
When you see Tingus in his yellow slicker and bright orange life vest with John McCain’s sign in hand, one will understand why we must all stand strong behind a man who cares, who understands what it takes to keep America strong and determined to rid those in our midst whose persona agenda and monies seem to be more imprtant than the majority interests of this great nation!
Carl please don’t let these liberal idiots inflence your coverage of politics. I watch all the news broadcasts closely and your coverage of the Republican candidates is balanced between all of them. Its kind of hard to get into see some of them because they don’t want to talk to any media. What are they afraid of? Keep up the good work. BTW, if these people will look at the other states polls they will see that Huckabee is moving up every time a new poll comes out. I think sometimes these polsters hold these results too long to influence people’s minds. Some people watch the polls cloely to see how other people in different parts of the country are responding.
Thanks Carl for all you do! Regardless of who and what we want to hear, your tireless efforts and hours are so appreciated!
Your opinions, founded on your involvement and experiences, help me a less than political know-all-things a perspective to ponder! Some bloggers don’t seem to realize the time restrains and that you don’t make all the decisions of who you cover. You certainly can please all the people, all the time!!!!
I am not surprised with the outcome of these 17 voters! Times are changing and We, the People, are speaking through these candidates!
Take care and pace yourself as it will be a long season
Hi Carl … listened to a few statements from Fred Thompson the other night … this man has some serious Leadership qualities … outstanding actually … any chance we can hear more about his campaign … the media kind of has me Huckabee’d and Obama’d out … and looks like soon to be McCain’d out.
Fox like the other major networks continue to ignore Ron Paul. He is the only one that stands out from the rest of both sides. Republicans or Democrats–what’s the diff?
I think the N.H. voters like to keep the pundits and reporters confused..Watch for
a Romney win!!
Just my 2 cents
Carl, I generally avoid these comment sections because there tends to be so much ugliness in them, but I did want to take a moment to let you know that I have been reading your vlog with interest & have really appreciated your reporting. You are one of the few that doesn’t sound like you have an agenda or an antagonistic attitude going into this! Thank you!
I had hoped to see Carl and the other FoxNews stars at St. Anselm College, on Sunday, but the police stopped me at the gate because I had no press pass. So, last night, I drove over to the midnight voting ceremony at the Balsams Grand Resort in Dixville Notch, NH — just 20 miles south of the Canadian border. Being so far north and in the mountains, I prepared for a bone-chilling cold January evening yet it was a balmy 42 degrees at the Balsams. Tossing the coat felt great.
I went up there to see Carl so I could make an announcement of my own. Yet as I pulled in to the hotel parking lot, I saw no FoxNews trucks. I asked the hotel staff where I could find Carl but nobody knew – or so they said. Though I never did see Carl, I did meet with friends/family from southern Virginia and shared a beer in the tavern. As the tavern closed, one of the Virginia guys mentioned that he had seen Carl earlier in the evening. Perhaps I just missed him by a few minutes.
Anyway, since I couldn’t find Carl, I just mingled with the crowd – even Candidate Duncan Hunter, as he was leaving, who strongly hinted that he is staying in the race. ( As I left, somebody told me that FoxNews needed a southeastern exposure and they had to park elsewhere … to a place I never saw. Maybe I will get lucky in Manchester tonight.)
At 1:30pm, Martha and Major just reported on the Change buzzword. Good reporting!
Here’s my take ….
After the voting ceremony, I went out front and saw the CNN bus, so I went over and chatted with the guys inside … just to see what they thought of the race, so far. They thought Huckabee was a real gentleman yet the common theme was distinctly anti-Hillary. (Yes, even at CNN!) One guy, describing Mrs. Clinton, used words I cannot repeat here but he seemed to agree that the biggest reason Obama was tearing up the Democrat field was as simple as ABC: ANYBODY but Clinton. I’m sure Obama must have some substance in his message but nobody there could discern it.
“Change” is just a silly buzz word but if that’s what it takes to sway people from Clinton camp, so be it. Hillary was over her head from day one anyway. The only problem with Hillary leaving the race is that it might be a little harder to beat Obama … but he’s still very beatable.
So Huckabee won Iowa, Romney won Wyoming, and (who knows who will win N.H.).
What does this tell you about Republicans?
What does Obama’s consistent wins tell you about Democrats?
REPUBLICANS
As a Republican, I say “Who the hell cares about those small states back there and
what they say? I’m not letting them, nor the media, choose my candidate for me.”
This is the exact character that tends to define a Republican. An Independent spirit
that waits until they have all the facts and all the information is in – then we decide for ourselves.
Remember when they (the media) told us Gore won Florida? We learned our lesson but more than that,
what makes up the Republican Party is truly a diverse group of individuals. (WE ARE the party of
Abraham Lincoln and abolition of slavery!) But this independence and diversity
among us is a double edged sword. Sometimes it haunts us in elections because we can’t
seem to UNIFY when it matters most and we are stubborn about our commitments to our
‘perfect’ candidate of choice. What we need to realize is that there is NO PERFECT candidate
and our choice should be in someone consistent with our core values most of the time.
One thing seems clear, if a so-called Republican has a history of liberal policy making and his
alliances side more with the democrats, then he is no Republican.
I know McCain has been right on one thing only, the war, but he has been consistently WRONG on just about
every other issue. I respect his service and I love the military but I don’t love McCain. Many do love him
as a person and that is fine as long as you recognize his failings and that he would be terrible as leader
of this country. (Interestingly, almost all the media failed to mention he came in 4th behind Fred Thompson in Iowa
and consistently try to now prop him up as a contender).
I see him as a media hound and the nasty one towards Romney. Really, those ads by Mitt were simple
comparison ads with no personal attacks. Grow up if you think otherwise and realize that McCain gets
personal with his attacks as does Huckabee. (and know that I am not for Romney). It’s pretty simple though,
when you cohort with Ted Kennedy and the dems love you, BEWARE! …and Remember that McCain is directly responsible for
moveon.org. Thanks ol’ buddy!
Who is Huckabee? – He is the darling of the dems and liberal media because they know that they can slaughter him
in the general election. Simple as that.
He supports instate tuition for illegals while playing the ‘I’m compassionate for the children’ card.
College age illegals are not children, mostly 18 or older, and thus recognized as adults. Besides, generally,
you are saving the parents money on tuition so it’s not for the ‘kids’. Incentive, freebies and handouts will draw anyone like flies,
so when you stop the free ride, illegals stop getting on the bus. Reward LEGALS and those who wish to become citizens -not those
who think it’s no big deal to disobey our laws. It is insulting to those immigrants who respectfully go through the legal process.
Look, I don’t trust Huckabee for a minute and I’m a Christian.
DEMOCRATS
The democrats always talk about diversity and tolerance. Their party depends on the perpetuation of this perception
that they work very hard to create and maintain. That’s why, in fear of their ‘being the party of blacks’ being put in jeopardy,
they propped up Obama when they thought Condi Rice might enter the Republican candidacy. (Unfortunately she did not
although hopefully she will be a contender for VP as she is overly qualified.) So it doesn’t matter that Obama is wholly UNqualified
with absolutely no credentials or experience to be president; doesn’t matter that his own father and then his step father
were muslims; doesn’t matter that, as a youth, he was enrolled in a radical muslim school in Indonesia (a country well known for producing
terrorists); doesn’t matter that he is part of a ’so-called Christian’ church that is for blacks only and his pastor is a racist.
But they would never infer Obama was a racist or talk about any of his background for fear of they themselves being called
racist and shattering the ‘created perception of tolerance and diversity’.
The democrats, like sheep, and so desirous of their ‘tolerance’ label, have flooded onto the OBAMA bandwagon. Additionally,
they are afraid of Hillary’s negatives handing them a loss in the general election. Herein lies the strength (or weakness) of that party.
Whether right or wrong, they band together for their ‘guy’.
We as Republicans should UNIFY and take a lesson from this (and only this).
I welcome your opinions and dialogue
Thanks
Jo Ann
Why is this fact being hidden from the voters???
Obama’s church:
Please read and go to this church’s website and read what is written there. It is very alarming.
Barack Obama is a member of this church and is running for President of the U.S. If you look at the first page of their website, you will learn that this congregation has a non-negotiable commitment to Africa. No where is AMERICA even mentioned. Notice too, what color you will need to be if you should want to join Obama’s church… B-L-A-C-K!!! Doesn’t look like his choice of religion has improved much over his (former?) Muslim upbringing.
Strip away his nice looks, the big smile and smooth talk and what do you get? Certainly a racist, as plainly defined by the stated position of his church! And possibly a covert worshiper of the Muslim faith, even today. This guy desires to rule over America while his loyalty is totally vested in a Black Africa!
I cannot believe this has not been all over the TV and newspapers.
This is why it is so important to pass this message along to all of our family &friends. To think that Obama has even the slightest
chance in the run for the presidency, is really scary.

Keep up the good work. There is always room for improvement, but by and large you and Fox have provided alot information to the national electorate.
During the process, I have to admit, while I didn’t expect to become a McCain supporter because of his age, but Gov. Romney has disappointed.
I have read a mis-characterizations on the blog and would like to give a little “straight talk” of my own.
1. While Gov. Romney’s ad’s portray him as a fiscal conservative and blasting Sen. McCain for voting against the tax cuts, he doesn’t explain why. Sen. McCain stated at the time, and continues today to state it was mistake to pass the tax cuts without including limits on federal spending. He feared that without the spending limits the federal government would engage in unnecessary and wasteful spending leading to the return of deficit spending and a weakend U.S. economy. As time has proven, he was correct. Real fiscal conservatives cut taxes and spending, not just taxes.
2. On immigration Sen. McCain called for:
a. Securing the borders
b. Imlementation of tamper proof electronic employment verification system
c. Temporary worker program to provide needed labor
d. Immediate deportation for any undocumented immigrant who was a member of a gang, convicted of a crime, or was deemed a threat to society
e. A temporary visa program (5 year only) for people who pass a background check, are employed, have learned or are learning English, have paid, or are paying back taxes, pay a substantial fine, and pay an application fee. After five years, they must then re-apply and pass another background check, still be employed, demonstrate they know English, pay another fine and another application fee. If they fail any of this they are deported. This whole process then must continue 2 more times before anyone has an opportunity to petition for citizenship.
As Gov. Romeny said himself, it is reasonable and it is not amnesty. In reviewing the plan, it does impose a punishment, it will deport those who are are not productive members of our communities, and it forces everyone to earn and prove their commitment to our country.
Gov. Romney’s new plan is to
1. Secure the borders
2. Deport all illegals – Even though though DHS says this is simply not possible.
For a man who perports to have executive experience and an understanding as to how to get things done I am disappointed. Half of his entire plan is not doable, and it makes know mention of needed labor.
Gov. Romeny, I expected more.
Wow. It amazes me that in a time when our government is getting nothing accomplished because of the clash between democrats and republicans people can bash McCain. He is one of the few politicians out there that are wlling to compromise to get something done. We teach our children about all the great compromises in the history of our government and foreign governments and what success they have accomplihed. Yet, we can lash out at a man that is doing just that to get something done for the better. The so called amnesty bill was an attempt by McCain to get some compromised legisation passed to make a step forward in securing our borders. But instead partisanship shot it down and NOTHING has been done. Go ahead and vote for your true conervatives and democrats and see where it gets this country . . . No where!!!!
Anyone consider the possibility that the ’sexists’ that recently hoisted the banner in front of Hillary may have been Clinton ‘plants’ to generate sympathy?
I am still suprised that people are considering Gov. Romney the fiscal conservative. While I was initially impressed by him, I have grown concerned with they way he has characterized others and has changed on the issues.
His ad’s attacking Sen. McCain for not voting for the Bush tax cuts, leaves out that Sen. McCain supported the tax cuts, but only with a cap on federal spending. He correctly feared that the federal government would wastefully spend money and lead to deficit spending. Time has definetly proved him right. Real fiscal conservatives cut taxes and spending, not just taxes.
I expected more.
I Say it is about time we (REPUBLICANS) come together and vote for the only real republican in the race.
I think that FRED THOMPSON is only TRUE republican. I was going for Mc Cain but he has certainly disappointed me as a republican.
I do not want the slick talker Obama who really knows how to smooth talk all the while he is really saying nothing. Come on American Keep us great.
Obama and Clinton are both minoriities and I dont think they are really
representative of the Silent Majority. He definitely turns off most of us. If only the media would stop talking about him, and we know why – only because he is black. That is a choice? Huckabee is a joke and McCain and Romney b oth disappointed me with their very liberal attitude. Of course the trial lawyer who made his millions ripping everyone off – certainly not him.
We are not stupid -
How about a FRED THOMPSON / JULIANI Ticket? Not only would we be more safe but we would be a little smarter….. Please no more Obama/PLEASE
I am a conservative(but that shouldn’t matter) and I am VERY dissappointed in FOX and no longer trust there news organization. They DID NOT allow all the presidential candidates in the debate and Ron Paul tied with Fox Corporations golden boy Rudy Giuliani in New Hampshire. The fact is THEY DECIDED FOR US and RIGHT IN FRONT OF ALL OF US. What else have they decided to report and NOT report. And strangely they is little or no discussion about this. Forum posts are getting deleted of various forums around the net, the one I saw just today is Sean Hannity. Again how many times has Hannity had Giuliani on. The fact is they are reporting what promotes their agenda. Remember that the next time u here “We Report, You Decide!”

22 years? how long does it take to fight in washington? This mavrick must not be that good ? 11,000 plus earmarks this year? and this bridge to no where? that was not stopped? alaska still gets to keep the $230,000,000.00 ? who faught that john? and when the minn. governor and legislator decides to spend $500,000,000.00 yup 1/2 BILLION on a sports center who wins that one John? the government sent minn. another $250,000,000.00 after getting there $3+ billion in tranportation funds? One man stands up to the special interests. … One man does what’s right, not what’s easy. I herd he is for temp. workers picking lettuce in is home state? but what does that say for the ones that want to stay here all year long? sounds like that is special interest? so is it the lettuce farmer thats in bed or the temp.workers you are siding for? Sorry john you are more valuble to use in the senate ,you collect your $58,000 per year navy pension and we will fell sorry for the senators and pay them $1 million per term for there part time work , keep up the good work ,I cant wait till next year and the what 12 or 13,000 earmarks and none are going to AZ. YIPPY ops Isn’t Az the state with the big hole? must not be much there? do they have a fence yet?
Hi GUYS ,What in the world is up with Minnasota?
A state with a state surplus and they decide not to raise gas tax to fix its roads and instead builds a $600,000,000 ball park?
( Why did this ,OUR government spend 20 MILLION to see if those guys do drugs) WHO cares what base ball does, Its a Private company? and then wonder when football will get investagated?)
then Minn. collects $250,000,000.00 when their bridge falls and now they also get $700,000.00 for a bike trail? what do they spend there money on? And to think they just got like 3.? billion for their roads this year from Uncle Sam.
Seems a good Solution would be to Have Mitchell spend 20 million to investagate this Nation wide? who care’s about Baseball,I can think of alot of investagations we can spend $20 million on that will benifit the public checkbook and not those of Private CHECKBOOKS?
Katrina?
$5B in Pakistan Aid Wasted, Diverted?
$4.4B on a hollywood Earmark?
$1.1B on dead farmers in the farmbill?
to name a few
and the money raised is unreal? A Huckabee that is running on values Should get more air time just on a message to the establishment that all the corporate greed and multi millionares is and should be a thing of the past PERIOD .And even these long time Senators that think its there way or the highway?
below is my veiw on funds raised :
here is a great question to ask them all? when we all go out to eat and we leave a tip ,the waitress has to pay taxes on the tip? we are really giving her a contribution to be here the next time we eat there? Now with the Hundreds of dollars raised for a person that can spend any way they wish, why in Gods Green Earth are those funds not counted as income and taxed ? Lets ask any of them why they think this is not? and would they change it? It would be great to tax Clintons camp $100 million and Obamas Camp another $100 million that the government needs ,this perk needs to end, this needs to be treated as income and pay taxes on it period,Imagine 22% ? of that in the social sercuity trust funds? Now for Romneys $200+ MILLION and he spent $10 or $15 MILLION IN IOWA,Hey MITT(oops fee fee) we gona put a fee on your spending
Next I would also have a Sur-Charge on money spent for an election? why is it that Legislators can put sur charges or sur taxes on us but not them?
thanks and remember to keep your stick on the ice ,were all in this togeather
I would just like to thank James for bringing light to Obama’s religion. This shows that racism and segregation still exists and its not just directed at Blacks any more.
I believe a White Only Church would be closely related to the KKK. White only, Black only, Hispanic only are all forms of segregation and should not be tolerated.
Anyone for Unity in America would not belong to such a one sided organization!
RIDICULOUS!!!
Carl Cameron, I am your biggest fan! You are the person I’m striving to be when I get older. Living in NH these past few days has been so exciting. I’ve been hoping to see you at some of the rallies for Huckabee and McCain that I’ve been to. I’ve always wanted to ask you; How did you first get interested in journalism? Do you have any tips for a high school student getting ready to go to college for journalism?
On another note, McCain’s campaign has really taken off here in NH. With all of this added support and press coverage, hopefully he’ll get the nomination. Sadly, I think that he will lose the presidential race if Obama is the democratic nomination. First-time and independent voted just seem to like him better and they (hopefully) far out number the racist bigots in our country. The people I’ve talked to are looking for a fresh face to put in Washington and Obama is definitely fresh. With no lengthy track record to weigh him down, his popularity has skyrocketed, especially among the students at my school. Most of them don’t even know what his beliefs are, which makes me a bit nervous, but they are going out to vote for him in the primaries today because what they DO know is that he will bring change. Personally, I think it’s going to be a rash decision caused by lack of experience that will change America if Obama is president. We need someone who’s proven his leadership skills and has had time to collect a variety of experiences so he knows how to handle what’s going to be thrown at him as President. America definitely needs John McCain!
Clinton’s arrogance breeds blindness and you guys are following a flawed position.
My brother is a brain surgeon and his wife is a nurse and brilliant too. But no one would ever in their wildest dreams think she could do his job because she was married to him, lived with him or was in the operating room with him.
Hilary has learned how to run a campaign all right but she has zero experience to be president….wake up and ask some defining questions !
mitt is a loser and he will lose in n.h and one more thing his will be in troble after to nite.
Come on carl , we know you are against romney, you need to listen to Sean and Rush but then you probably are to left for them, and I say this with surprise, but as Sean and Rush have said, we all need to wait till Romney till the other states where most of the gop will vote for Romney , of course carl NH is going to go mostly to mccain, he won in 2000 , he beat BUSH by a huge margin and people tried to say BUSH was in deep trouble, I admit I was so depressed, like RUSH says the driveby media want mccain to win and want Romney out, we all know mccain is winning so far in NH because of all the independent vote and you know that carl, look at your own FOX NEWS analysis, Romney has gotton most of the GOP vote, and this is a primary ,mccain made me mad when he went against BUSH, and sided with the dems. as his campaign aide Lindsey Graham.and please quit calling the ads attack ads, they are only showing mccain and huckabees record, he has never attacked them personally and you know that.
Question for Anyone
Earlier today (1/8) Fox did a story about a webpage where you answer what you think of the issues and then the page will tell you which candidate feels the closest to what you do.
Anyone know name of webpage?
Thanks
James,
Shocker: Obama, an African American, belongs to an African American church! If you have any knowledge of the history of the African diaspora, of the religious experience as it related to slavery, etc., you would acknowledge that the African diaspora rhetoric of Obama’s church is not alarming.
Obama is not a Muslim. This has been established time and again. For that matter, Muslims are not subhuman, nor are they un-American. Hatred, bigotry, and xenophobia are un-American.
I have bad news for you and the other bigots that have posted above (Jeanette): your ideal candidate died in a bunker under Berlin.
i think MCCain is always trying to let emagration hes not telling the truth and hes to close withSenator Kennedy . He will let all these illgals a free pass, he is not sticking up for the consevatives is a lined to close with the demacats as far as im coserned. I ‘am backing Rommney in Michigan
I wonder how long the news media will hold off on researching and reporting on Obama’s church as mentioned above by James. I just cannot figure out why the media is not reporting it. All American voters need to know about the beliefs as recorded on the church’s website and the fact that Obama is a member. Huckabee and Romney’s religious beliefs have received lots of press. Why not Obama’s? How utterly frightening!
Mitt’s pain comes mainly from McCain – but will the Dem’s do my Fair Lady?
Maybe not if Obama’s calls to Kenya were on time.
IT’S SO SAD how OBSESSED FoxNews has become with McCain. Every other second it’s “McCain this…. McCain that… He’s just so wonderful!!”
To every extent that CNN is the Clinton News Network, Fox is the McCain network.
Just like McCain, Fox is an open-border, pro-amnesty, neo-con, liberal entity.
So sad.
But no worries, despite Fox’s bidding, McCain will sink like a lead balloon as soon as he’s out of the small, no-immigration, northeast states. I predict he won’t even win Arizona! But don’t think you’ll hear that on Fox.
You folks at FOX News seem to me to be in a huge hurry to bury Mitt Romney. Why should 6,000 people in the insignificantly tiny state of New Hampshire be allowed to determine whom I will be allowed to vote for in the next Presidential election? This whole election process has become a dangerous farce. Let the parade continue on through February. Let the people decide.
In a nutshell, “Clinton Cries, Obama Slides.”
Fox News is Rude!
My wife and I are avid watchers and supporters of Fox news.
We thought it was very rude that Fox News talked over Obamma in his speach at the end.
Please do consider well these types of actions as it doesn’t lend well to the Fox image as being fair and balanced witch I strongly support.
Thank you and Jesus bless you,

Carl
your boy Huck got woooped tonight- dont worry McCain won and he has an “alliance” with Huck to take out the other republicans.
Carl maybe its your turn to buy Huck chicken dinner— make him feel better. Just remind him that he had that great bounce of 2 pts out of Iowa- which lifted him to a resounding victory over Ron Paul. Wow 11% you both should be proud!
George Bush not John McCain in 2000 demanded that the military get a payraise to get the military off of foodstamps while Mccain was trying to cut programs like the C-17, F-22, Stryker, Predator and KC-X Tanker which is still not designated for a design much less construction. Here at Eglin and Hurlburt it was PAINFUL to see the Military forced to use foodstamps in stores to buy food and unlike McCain we helped them.As of now F-15s have been repeatedly grounded and F-16 have been sent to intercept soviet bombers spoofing the US an unsafe mission for the F-16 pilots and congress is jerking around military funding to claim savings as Mr Mcain did in the debate at the cost of military lives.
In response to Mary. Racism is not the motivating force in asking the news media to report on Trinity Church of Christ of which Obama is a member. The motivating force for my request to Carl and the news media is based on patriotism for the great country, America that we along with Obama should be the country to which we pledge our allegiance, Not Africa. I along with all America need to know before we vote to which country Obama pledges his allegiance and if he supports the posted beliefs of his Church. We just need all voters to be enlightened in every way about Obama as we are the other candidates. Nothing that important should be hidden.
Carl,
Are you a good ol’boy anti-mormon or do you just want the democratic party to win the race? Because you obviousley want the only person that has a chance at beating Obama or Hillary out. Stop twisting the facts about Romney and bashing him whenever you get a chance. Try reporting the facts or you are going to lose alot of people who use to like you, until you started showing you are just as ignorant as the other bigots.
Carl,
I can’t believe you’re getting blasted for being biased toward Romney….Its been my finding that you and the whole network spend too much time showing his mugg on the shows from morning to night….Fox and friends actually excluded a segment of their show(the weather)to interview Romney……won’t see that happen with Huckabee, would we????
You know, I think Chris might be on to something with his insightful comment concerning the ’sexists’ taunting the now publicly emotional Hillary. The ‘Clintonian Theater of the Absurd’ kicks into high gear and poor old Obama does not stand a chance! It is humorously ironic that a student ‘taunting’ John F. Kerry gets tazed into the next galaxy but the ‘taunting sexists’ appearing at Hillary’s rally go relatively unscathed. Note to famed Director William ‘Cecil B. Demille’ Clinton: make sure you truck in the Keystone Kops from central casting, duly armed with plastic ‘tazer guns’, to break up the next impromptu sexist attack which will ‘unexpectedly’ occur during one of your wife’s emotion-laden soliloquies. The Bard of Hope should have it no other way. Rave on, William Jefferson – a comedy starved nation anxiously awaits the next act.
I try not to be a racist, but why is a former? Muslim that won’t even swear in on a bible be allowed to run for office. His church, Trinity Church of Christ in Chicago stands for everything black, no mention of whites; if a white person was from an all white church he’d be run up a flag pole. After a lot of background checking, I am going to back Mike Huckabee for President. His efforts in Arkansas says a lot for what he can do for America. All I can say is ‘God Bless the Red, White and Blue’.
I feel the general public has a better sense and a better memory evidently than the news media and political poll takers. McCain will meet heavy opposition from the true conservatives that didn’t appreciate his attack on gun owners with further restrictions and unconstitutionalbills in congress not only concerning the 2nd amendment but the first, whn he vted to resrict freedom of speech which had to be overturned by the courts. I feel people are strong in opposition to any illegal immigrant amnesty. We realize that the big power brkrs controllig the pollsters and most media are trying to convince us that other do not feel this way ut I don’t think it will work.
Why do you push Mccain and huckabee so much, there both wolfs in sheep clothing! their both in the wrong party! they will both tell you what you want to hear!! they dont have a conservative bone in their bodys! all the rest of them are thinking about this country! fred , mitt, rudy and paul are straight shooters! fred is the only conservative that is running! go by their records! do something differant look there records up!!
Let’s be honest: FOX NEWS is OBSESSED with McCain and they have been for months. It’s disgusting and I can no longer watch the station. All of the pundits are open-border, McCain-loving neo-cons who discredit Romney at every opportunity.
Check out their website right now: there’s a HUGE picture of McCain with a big ‘ole thumbs up, his name splashed as large as possible.
Oh, and there’s a small little point 8 font noting that Romney won some votes out west.
HERE’s the e-mail I just sent Fox:
********
“Your blatant McCain advocacy is disgusting. With more delegates, more 1st place wins, and more over all voters, Romney should get a hell of a lot more credit than you’re giving him. Yet, the Fox hosts are calling McCain a “front runner” and were shocked when Charles Krauthammer happened to mention Romney as a serious candidate. Brit asked, “you’re still hung up on Romney?”
“Fox is now as disgusting as CNN.
“You’ll realize that open-border neoconservativism will not fly out west. McCain will sink in the polls the closer to the border he campaigns…. no matter how hard you campaign for him.”
********
