SC welcomes storm!
These Southerners are not gonna let a little rain and sleet keep em away from the polls. Politics is serious business in the First In The South Primary, they are turning out!
They have been more saturated with ads and candidates for the last year than every state but NH and IA…now they want their say and rain and sleet won’t be enough to deter em.
Huckabee and McCain are in an epic getout the vote battle. Teams from all over the country, call centers, buzzing, volunteers aplenty. Both hopefuls have said they need, want, and will win here…one of em aint gonna.
South Carolina is a proud state, rich with history and fascinating politics.
Kudos to them, the state GOP, and the candidates for a great kick off to the race for the south. Dead even with 3 and a half hours left

It amazes me that so many media organizations seem to be promoting one candidate over the others. The two being bashed are tied for 1st place! I’m a veteran and a Christian. I’m awed by McCain’s strength while a POW. However, he has voted and promoted some positions that don’t reflect who I am. Mike Huckabee, on the other hand, has been the Commander in Chief of Arkansas’s National Guard and lives a solid moral lifestyle. It was brought to my attention today that Romney is on the board of Marriot Hotels. Marriot’s proliferation of pornography isn’t one of the family values I share.
I live near Tampa Florida and today I saw Huckabee supporter’s waving signs at a major intersection. I haven’t seen any other serious candidate’s supporters. Florida may be in play for Mike Huckabee.
Carl,
Thank you for your hard work on keeping us fox fans updated on the elections. Stay dry and warm.

Bestselling author, syndicated columnist, and renowned conservative commentator Cal Thomas praised Ron Paul yesterday on his website. Here’s some of what he had to say:
“Where are we after the Michigan primary and just before South Carolina this weekend?
“Mike Huckabee… sounds like a big government Republican. The only one behaving like a real Republican is Ron Paul, who actually wants to cut spending and get government out of our lives. He won’t win the nomination because too many Republican are into handouts and redistribution, just like Democrats.
“It’s a sad political season if you are a conservative… Maybe a miracle will happen and Republicans will start behaving like Republicans again.”

Makes you wonder why they are trying to silence Ron Paul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
That is the question that Carl Cameron asked Ron Paul in last Thursday’s Fox News debate in South Carolina.
How did Ron Paul respond?
Well, you wouldn’t be able to find his answer if you watched the rebroadcast of the debate, because Fox News cut Dr. Paul’s response!
But don’t worry… Thanks to the wonders of YouTube, you can see Ron Paul respond here.

Why are they trying to silence RON PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m with Huckabee or McCain, but no Thompson.
Thompson has shown himself to be nothing but a grumpy, backstabbing old man.
And has made himself appear as a school yard snitch, that doesn’t even know what he is snitching about.
We have early voting in FL. We have been voting since Monday. It has been heavy. Factor that it,
There are only 4 people who in the end will be the decision maker in this process. Possibly only 3 people! This election is going to the House of Representatives! I guarantee!
If Thompson somehow survives to make 3rd today in SC, he would be looking forward to high turnout in his favor in other southern states. A grass roots poll taken this morning in Northern Alabama, among a Republican Mens’ Breakfast, showed over fifty percent (50%) supporting Thompson, with Romney at roughly twenty-five percent (25%) and the rest of the pack tacking single digits.
The good folks in the FOX News focus group, during the South Carolina GOP debate, were glad to see Thompson finally starting to throw some punches. The voters in SC seem to appreciate tough straight-forward candidates.
Carl, please tell all the folks you meet in SC that we appreciate them and their dedication to this primary.
P.S. Best debate question of the entire election, “Keeping with questions on the subject of electability, Congressman Paul . . . do you have any?”
Ron Paul got 2nd in Nevada. I think Fox is out of touch with what people care about.

Carl did a great job asking questions @the SC Rep. debate. I really loved his unprofesinal question of Paul from Texas, “are you electable?” I was in disbelife that a man and his employer of there status would have such a Hypocritacal question. You say your nonbiased, but with that question, I learned how really biased and false Fox News network is. The guy has beaten many of the eairly front runners in votes nation wide. Winning many counties so far, and getting second in Nevada (not third as the fox news website shows, once again nonbiased right?)
Carl
I have yet to hear you say one positive thing about Mitt Romney. Why do you hate him so much?? When he does well you say it doesn’t matter and when he comes in second, you make it seem like the end of the world for him… come on Carl… you are more like “Carl decides , then Carl Reports”… I thought that it was “we report, you decide.”
How about giving a little love Mitt’s way every once and a while rather that sucking up to McCain and Huckabee every chance you get.
Hey Carl, word is Duncan Hunter is out. CNN’s reporting it–is that what you’re hearing?
Really-How about “snitching” on McCain and Huckabee over their liberal views on the economy and illegal immigration.Huckabee was a tax and spend Governor who wanted to give illegal aliens in state tuition.McCain voted against President Bush’s tax cuts, and tried to reward illegals with a path to citizenship.Talk about “backstabbing” the American people. And we should all be “grumpy” about that!
