Hi Carl, Mike Huckabee visiting Ebeneezer Baptist Church was a savvy attempt to garner support from the African-American community. However, that may not be enough to tip him into the winning column. All eyes are now on Florida. Personally, I believe Thompson will drop out soon leaving Giuliani, McCain, Huckabee and Romney to metaphorically slug it out. I hope either Romney or Giuliani win the Republican ticket in Florida. McCain is too much of a maverick for my taste, and Huckabee needs to keep his religion in church. After Florida, I believe Huckabee will withdraw. He doesn’t have the money or support to continue the race. Someone mentioned yesterday something about McCain’s age. He is 71 years old. Although he can still serve, do we want to take a chance like that? My money is on Romney. He is the only one to go against Hillary or Obama. My dream race would be Hillary Clinton against Mitt Romney. Obama is too well liked and could win. I read a survey today that said voters thought McCain was the most electable Republican. I don’t know what planet they are from, but not from Earth. The Republicans will lose the presidency if they choose McCain to lead.

Get your story straight … Clinton DID NOT grow up in Hope, Ark. He moved at age 7 to Hot Springs, AK … the only reason he doesn’t like to admit it is because it was a hot bed of mafia influence and presence — his mom spent days at the race track with them. Do your research. These men have NOTHING in common.

I am a republican, but I am getting sick of the negative neo con wing of the repub party. They are not an asset in this election, although ultimately they are needed to win. Unfortunately they are so wrapped in their own anger for causing us to lose the house, senate, and the fiscal high ground, that they are unable to see clearly. Look at the comments by chris George above, and others, notably in the Right wing Radio sphere…why would you dislike a guy like Huckabee that much, unless he threatens your standing as the lead dog in the party? He is not going to win, he adds some humanity to the Republican party so when the rest of the country sees these debates, we don’t look like neanderthals, and he brings some fresh ideas, whether we use them or not. Why don’t you ease up, and move the debate forward instead of just attacking everything in sight you disagree with? The neo cons have lost their right to be the leaders, because a lot of us aren’t going to follow you anymore. You are no longer the Jedi Knights of the Conservative movement-get over it, and jump in a foxhole with the rest of us. Its time to let a more positive and hopeful wing of the party run the show, so until you have something constructive to say, grab a shovel and dig in. Like it or not, we may be be here for a while, unfortunately. Be happy that you are a Republican and we believe in forgiveness, and don’t eat our own.

Obama has had plenty of opportunities, during this race, AND during the past 20 years, to do what he did on April 29, but Rev. Wright had never put Obama down before. That made him willing to turn against the pastor, who — a few weeks ago Obama said that he could never turn from. Obama will say anything to get what he wants.

Because he has now disrespected Obama, Obama is now willing to confront Wright’s horrible remarks — one by one. HE SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS AT LEAST A YEAR AGO! TOO LITTLE — TOO LATE.

Obama listened to and approved of Wright for 20 years. It’s impossible to believe that he never heard Wright’s radical rants. Obama is not that stupid. This is the very philosophy of the church that he has attended for years. If he has that much “blindness” on something as important as foundational philosophical beliefs of his own church, why would he think he could deal with crafty foreign leaders and run our country?

If you listen to Michelle Obama, it certainly sounds like she has heard and believed the teachings against America, that have been preached by her pastor. Don’t forget Obama’s ties to Ayers, Rezko, Farrakhan, Malcolm X, the Black Panthers, and many other anti-Americans and terrorists.

May God help us to have the grace and love to do what s right for our country — no matter what our skin color. Race is a factor — we are all members of the Human Race!

Hillary need to drop out of the race and let obama win.. It willl be a wise decision that hillary can run as a vice president with obama… By the way, I see people have been talking negative post and comment about racism.. However, I am white and who cares about racism because it s an old fashion crap that need to put an end to it and shut up forever!!! Whomever tends to complain of racial slurs attack of the past that need to be put into a mental hospital or get help.. or R.I.P.
