Democrat’s Worst Nightmare: McCain launches new ad.
McCain’s so delighted by the attention he got from the democrats in the recent debate that he is now pushing an inevitability message. The idea is to imprint the perception that he is already a foregone conclusion and hope republicans jump on the bandwagon. Here’s the web ad.

I think this ad shows how the tide is spinning toward Romney. Mccain looks like a drunken pirate who will probably not make it through a 4 year term. Mccain is scary because he is really a democrat.
The American People need a clear choice. John McCain vs a Democrat is not a choice between parties. Too much one and the same. We need a clear choice between Mitt Romney and a Democrat. Now that is a choice the American People can decide between.
Seriously, the media wants McCain because he is the most like them with his viewpoints, minus the war in Iraq. Dem’s should be scared because he steals their votes, but he is not a true Republican Conservative candidate and anyone who looks at his record on immigration, campaign finance, free-speech, education, etc… will see this.
There are still at least 2 or 3 better conservatives running, but don’t think for a moment the media other than Fox News and the BBC will give them any attention because they are true conservatives through and through.
Wake up everyone, this is what the media and the liberals want. A republican who speaks and acts mostly like them.
I think its a HOPE of the Democrats that they run against John McCain. They are prepared to win against him. Do not vote for McCain. A vote for him is a vote for a Democrat. And then they have won. Vote for a leader and president of the United States….our Country. Come on people. Who do we want to represent us? Romney is the only name I can come up with. It is sad that he doesn’t have more competition but there just are not a lot of respectable people in politics. He is not a washington puppet. Romney would be the best for our country. Plus he is probably not going to die before the end of the campaign.
Yeah… that “You Tube” thing is exactly what John would like you to think; that’s also what the Democrats would like you to think. Actually Mitt Romney is the one to fear. He is the successful businessman with brains and savvy. I am a Republican and I will definitely not vote for John McCain. I will vote for Obama over him. John McCain reminds me of a little, hot-headed curmudgeon who does what he wants and doesn’t care what the rest of the world thinks. How soon we forget how he tried to shove that amnesty bill down our throats. Come on people…don’t fall for McCain’s trick. Don’t vote for him because he is a veteran. I’m a veteran and I don’t choose my leaders on that basis. I bet the first thing McCain would do as president would be to meet with Ted Kennedy to get that amnesty bill passed! People who vote for him sure don’t have long term memory! Final word…if the Democrats wanted McCain they would shut up and not say they fear him! They are using reverse psychology and it works on some feeble minded people. Can’t you see they want McCain! True Republicans can’t stand him because he is too liberal. That will hurt the party in the fall. You can bank on it!
Carl, you are simply unbelievable and unstoppable in your fawning coverage of John McCain and disdainful coverage of Mitt Romney. I just watched a report from you on Fox at about 12:15 today where you said that John McCain actually won the republican vote in S.C., and thus he is winning republicans and will basically win FL. How interesting considering that yesterday on Special Report on Fox it was reported that Huckabee won the republicans in S.C. over McCain by one point. So, which is it? We have always been able to count on Fox for truthful and fair coverage. Why are you failing us now?
It’s too bad that McCain is a Republican’s worst nightmare also.
This is exactly what the media wants you to believe. The truth is John McCain would get obliterated by any Democrat, especially Obama.
We need a Washington outsider like Romney. He really knows how to turn things around and thats exactly what this country needs.
McCain isn’t even a conservative! He’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing folks, watch out! Besides, McCain is too old.
There comes a point when you have to ask yourself:
WHY ARE THE DEMOCRATS AND LIBERAL MEDIA PUSHING SO HARD FOR JOHN MCCAIN, AND WHY ARE THE CONSERVATIVES PUSHING SO HARD AGAINST HIM?
IF THEY ARE SO AFRAID OF HIM, WHY ARE THEY TREATING HIM LIKE THE MEDIA DARLING?
Think about it, does that make sense?
The reason why the democrats and the media want John McCain to win the nomination is clear:
HE IS THE MOST LIBERAL REPUBLICAN IN THE RACE AND WILL REDEFINE THE PARTY AS SUCH! DOES THAT SCARE DEMOCRATS?
THEY ARE JUMPING WITH JOY AT THE THOUGHT OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY MOVING IN THEIR DIRECTION. IF HE WERE TO GET THE NOMINATION, THE COUNTRY WOULD BE LEFT TO CHOOSE BETWEEN A LIBERAL DEMOCRAT OR A LIBERAL REPUBLICAN.
AND AS FAR AS THE MEDIA IS CONCERNED, A HALF REPUBLICAN IS WAY BETTER THAN A WHOLE ONE. JUST IMAGINE HOW MUCH EASIER IT WILL BE TO GET THEIR LIBERAL AGENDA PASSED IF JOHN MCCAIN WERE PRESIDENT!
THEY’D PREFER A DEMOCRAT, BUT IF THEY HAD TO CHOOSE A REPUBLICAN, IT WOULD DEFINATELY BE JOHN MCCAIN! THAT’S SCARY PEOPLE, DO WE WANT THE LIBERAL MEDIA CHOOSING OUR NOMINEE FOR US? I DON’T THINK SO!!!!!
John McCain has been running for President for years and years. He wants to be President Soooooooooo badly, that it’s just sad!! He’s had his eye on the prize for so long that he’s ready to claim victory already! Slow down there buddy, it’s time for the conservatives to let their voices be heard!!!
VOTE FOR THE TRUE CONSERVATIVE–WHO WILL RETAIN OUR PARTY’S PRINCIPLES–AND WIN THE WHITE HOUSE—–VOTE FOR MITT ROMNEY!!!!
This article fails to mention, and maybe McCain doesn’t realize, that his poll numbers are dropping!!!
McCain’s trend lines nationally and in Florida are going down, down, down. While Romney is surging upwards!
Click the link below, and watch the videos, for the other information you don’t get here:

AMERICA NEEDS MITT ROMNEY!!! HE WILL BE OUR NEXT PRESIDENT!!!
They (the democrats) want him in there because they know they can beat him. Romney however is making them shake in their boots!
John McCain is so full of himself!!! Look at the way he has thumbed his nose at the Republican party over the years, and now he thinks he’s a shoo-in for the nomination?
You’ve got to be kidding!!!
John, MY FRIEND, just because the national media and the democrats love you and would choose you over any other Republican, doesn’t mean the Republicans will!
In case you haven’t noticed, conservatives are flocking to Mitt Romney, and he is rising in the polls. Fred Thompson’s folks are moving over to Mitt Romney’s side, and just wait until those numbers are reflected in the polls!
Quit kidding yourself McCain–you and the dems can have a pity party when you lose!!!
I’ll be voting for the only true conservative who’s left in this race–and the one person who can get our economy back on track: I’m voting for Mitt Romney!
McCain is a crook and he has no intentions of helping any americans. His main focus has been to invite, support and give our money to illegal aliens. If he was pinocchio his nose would stretch across an entire state.
Simply brilliant! imo, The best campaign ad yet for either party!
YAH! RIGHT! . . . .(Yawn). . .
Do the Democratic Pundits & the LIBERAL MEDIA really think R E P U B L I C A N S! are going to BUY THAT CRAP!
The DEMOCRATS want to HELP the R E P U B L I C A N S PICK THEIR TOUGHEST CANDIDATE!
DO YOU BELIEVE IN SANTA CLAUS?
They will most likely refer to HEAD-TO-HEAD Polls dating back to 1/16. RIGHT AFTER NH and before the other RACES!
R E P U B L I C A N S are not FOOLS! We will pick our own R E P U B L I C A N candidate and it WON’T BE JOHN McCAIN!
GO ROMNEY!!!!
I’m not buying this ad. The Clintons are shrewd politicians. They want to face McCain and that’s why they’re tipping their hand the other way. Sure hope Florida voters are shrewd enough to see through this.
So you have a bunch of liberals who would love to run against John McCain–of course they are all being perfectly honest right? This disingenuous ad is yet another feeble attempt to convince conservatives they have no choice but to vote for McCain. Since he goes along with the Dems a lot of the time–what kind of victory would that be?
That add is laughable. At this point in the race, McCain is in third place, having only half of the number of delegates that Mitt Romney has. Obviously, national popularity polls haven’t been the least bit reliable in determining early state primaries. I honestly don’t understand how people can look at McCain and think that he truly has the best shot at beating Hillary or Obama. Well, I guess the Democrats do, which speaks volumes. I would deduce that they are most afraid of him because he is the most similar to them on issues and policies. I think Mitt Romney said it best when he stated something like “We’re not going to beat Hillary by being like Hillary.”
That ad just proves a very important point. Don’t believe everything you see on T.V.!!
McAmnesty inevitable what a joke..save this blog because when McCain loses his own state of Arizona (winner take all) on super Tuesday you can say you saw it here first. He is very unpopular in AZ for buddying up with Ted Kennedy on the amnesty bill that finally got killed due to voter outrage. McCain was asked to run with John Kerry as a Dem VP candidate and took awhile before finally declining. That ought to speak volumes.
Latest polls show Mitt with large lead in FL he will easily win at least 400 delegates on Super Tuesday. He is very strong in Calfornia and out west in general. He has work to do in the Northeast but those are liberal/moderate states and as a conservative he wouldn’t expect to do as well there. Besides those sates always go to the Dems in Nov anyway. Mitts message of changing Washington and fixing our economic woes are what is catching fire in America.
Go Mitt 08
I wouldn’t say he’s *my* worst nightmare, but I can truthfully say that I am not certain at this point that I would vote for him should he win the nomination. I am a staunch, lifelong Republican, but I have real concerns with McAmnesty.
Unfortunately, he just doesn’t get it (or want to accept it) that he has thumbed his nose at Conservatives too many times. Yes, we agree on a number of things, of course, but the reality is that McCain has left a real bitter taste in the mouths of many Conservatives. Given that we have another great candidate, Mitt Romney, there’s no reason to start falling all over ourselves in “fear” of the Democrats.
In case anyone hasn’t noticed, they’re having their own mud fight and dividing their party as well.
The trends are clear. Every time Romney enters a state his support increases. In three cases it was enough to win. Twice he was the second choice. I have no doubt but that once Romney begins to address the general election people will come to understand how he is a great choice to really turn things around in Washington.
On health care, the Democrats have nothing on him. Where they speculate and hope and wish, he’s already done it in MA. He takes that issue away. In case you haven’t noticed, it’s one of the signature proposals they debate. Think about it. Romney completely takes this issue away and then they’re left with what? Oh yes, “We hate Bush. He’s evil. The war is bad. blah blah blah”. Guess what. Bush isn’t running and Romney didn’t get us into the war. McCain is far more tied to the war than Romney will ever be. If that’s all they have left, how is McCain supposed to be the champion of the day given the disapproval of the war? It simply doesn’t make sense.
On the economy, now the number one concern to everyone (Dems, Reps and Indys alike), Romney is the hands down best candidate to turn things around. Neither Billary nor Obama nor McCain hold a candle to Romney’s experience when it comes to business, free markets, international trade, and economics. You honestly believe that Independents are going to flock to Billary or Obama over Romney on the issue of the economy? That’s absurd!
Finally, the vast majority of Americans are very dissatisfied with Congress and Washington in general. Who is best equipped to turn things around, to turn things upside down in Washington - two people who represent the very establishment itself (Billary and McCain) or an outsider like Romney with actual experience turning things around? Again, it’s clear. The logical answers simply don’t line up with the MSM spin that McCain is the only one who can beat Billary or Obama.
Mitt Romney - a PROVEN LEADER with the EXPERIENCE to turn Washington around
As much as I would like to think John can be a true conservative on what I value most, we do agree on National defense. I think he will be the winner, and I do think the Dems are scared of him. I would vote for McCain in a heartbeat over Clinton or Obama anyday.
This has to be the most disgusting ad I’ve seen to date. I have learned over the last few months to expect this type of garbage from McCain. Unfortunately, this man has let what the “dems” think of him go to his head since many, many Republicans have little or no use for him and are very upset that the INDEPENDENTS are the ones that put him in the lead, not Republican voters!
My comments are never posted. Why carl?, because I criticized you over saying pres clinton while bush is the pres???? My comments are true so get a clue.
It will be hard for the Dems to compete with McCain and his stances because he will be in DIRECT competition for THEIR democrat votes. How can he represent the Republican base if the votes that have gotten him this far are from Independents and Democrats?
If McCain is the nominee than American’s have no real choice– no conservative voice.
Are you kidding me? How many of us are going to fall for the Democrats’ ploy? Sure…they WANT John McCain because they know they can beat him. Maybe if they mention his name enough and let us Republicans think that they fear him, we’ll put him in!!! Hey Hillary, Obama, and John…we’re smarter than you are giving us credit for.
I’m for Mitt Romney because I am SURE that he can beat the three of you. That’s why you don’t even mention his name.
lovely,on the spot.its true that billary will tear rommey apart,it will be a disgraceful defit and his bank will feel it real bad too,he cant win the south and most envagelicals wont vote for him,he cant win states like ny,nj.dont let foc, coulter and rush deceive u,mac is the man.
I think McCain and Billary oughta hook up, they would make a great tkt as they think a lot alike.
I think they are close to the same height, Hillary loves to clap and McCain loves to give the Fonzy thumbs up, Haaaaaaay. They could do skits together and stuff, it would be so cool you wouldn’t even notice taxes going up, free stuff for evryone, infact we could all just work to give 100% of our money to the gov and they could just take care of us all, as we wouldn’t have to worry about anything.
We could be the the new progressive united soviet states of mexamerica
OLD MAN MCAMNESTY’S DAYS ARE NUMBERED. NO MATTER HOW MUCH THE MSM HAS BEEN WORKING FOR HIM, I KNOW HE’LL GO DOWN IN FLORIDA ON TUESDAY.
NO AMNESTY!
NO “REPUBLICAN” WHO VOTES AGAINST TAX CUTS!
NO JOHN MCCAIN!
There’s a reason the NY Times endorsed him. He’s the biggest RINO of all time.
Go Romney!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will vote against Flip Flop Romney across the board! Huckabee or McCain I will support but never Flip Flop and the Limbaugh liberals!
THANK YOU ALL!
I am so glad there are clear-headed intelligent Republicans still out there that recognize a Trojan Horse when they see it. Thankfully, I’m not the only one who noticed that the Democrats are trying to shove McCain down our throats. It’s their latest talking point, “I don’t know why the Republicans are bashing McCain because he’s the guy who has the best chance of beating us.” HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. That’s a good one.
If the Democrats were really afraid of him, they wouldn’t be giving him so much free press on the airways, liberal press endorsements, and pats on the back. I think they may even be secretly funding his campaign (though this is purely speculation and my opinion). I think they wouldn’t even mind if he were president because they could persuade him to do all their liberal bidding and to sign all their liberal bills.
The truth is that many conservatives have a problem with McCain and his Democratic leanings. Sometimes I wonder if he’s just pretending to be a Republican and then later he’ll be his Maverick self and do the opposite of many things conservatives stand for: low taxes, free market, sealed borders with a fence and NO AMNESTY. Frankly, I’m afraid McCain would compromise TOO MUCH with the Democrats.
I think if McCain was the nominee, many Republicans might find it hard to vote for him and may stay home in the general election, allowing Hillary to win. I cannot stomach 8 more years of Clintons. Can you?
Romney stands for my conservative ideals, so he’s got my vote.
If the Democrats broadcast on the media that they are scared of John McCain, they are not. They would like to think that they can influence Republicans to vote for McCain. Do they think we are idiots? The Democrats believe that the friendly relationship that McCain has with Hillary will shield them from the Clintons’ dirty baggage that they will have to contend with in a more contentious, head-to-head face-off.
The one they are most scared of is Mitt Romney. He has shown leadership and success in the private sector and in government. He has shown he will pull no punches when it comes to exposing the Clintons. His credentials, especially in the area of the economy, dwarf the cedentials of Clinton and Obama put together. And, do you ever notice the media figures who blast Christians for crossing the ’separation between church and state’ line, are the same ones to question Romney’s religion in the hope to drive a wedge between Romney and evangelical Christian voters? Maybe they do think we are idiots.
The Democrats are not scared of McCain. Romney? Absolutely.

It is totally misleading to continue to believe McCain is the best Republican to beat the Democrats. Here is what they ARE NOT TELLING YOU:
1. McCain was in the lead in OLD POLLS, Only because he has BEEN AROUND THE LONGEST.
2. McCain’s numbers (spread) are declining. That means that his lead is declining as NEWER POLLS ARE TAKEN.
3. Romney’s numbers (spread) are INCREASING. Every time a new poll is taken, the democrat’s lead DECREASES.
Deduction:
As time goes on, MCCAIN’S POPULARITY IS GOING DOWN! ROMNEY’S POPULARITY IS GOING UP!
Don’t Take my word on it, I’m basing my findings on Real Clear Politics:
Romney Vs Clinton:

Also, Rasmussen Takes a NATIONAL POLL DAILY. Rassmussen has Romney and McCain tied for first at 27%. You will also notice that ROMNEY IS SURGING!!

I have been emailing FOX for over a week with this info. But no, They want to CONTINUE TO USE, THE OLD NUMBERS!!!
The media manipulate the public. Sad but true. We dress like TV characters. We talk like TV characters. We vote however the media tells us to. It’s sad. I’m gonna start putting out my own youtube ads. I’m going to tape my conversations with social services. The ad will be titled….”HI…I have paid into social security for 17 years and now have a serious form of adult onset muscular dystrophy which has left me unable to walk….here’s what social security employees are telling me”
The bulk of my youtube will be the recorded responses from Social services employees as they reject my plea for disability…..
Next….I will videotape the residents where I used to live. I will videotape them ”walking”(which I can’t do) to the mail box to pick up their disability checks. My youtube video will inform everyone that THESE disability recipients all have criminal records which include selling drugs to minors, endangering the welfare of minors and acts of pedaphilia. Their ”disabilities” include….depression…paranoia…seizuring while withdrawing from drugs…. I will state that on my youtube video. I will explain that while pregnant, me and my two small children hobbled out of my home …. we had to move… these disability recipients threatened us and didn’t want us in their ”hood” anymore cuz I kept calling the cops on them.
Terrorism?!?!?! State sponsered terrorism is a problem?!?!?!
What about the state of New York(thanks Hillary) …. giving thousands of dollars a month to active criminals who brazenly terrorize their own children as while as mine…..
What about that…..
Where’s the media coverage on that?!?!?!
Who’s the politician that cares about that?!?!?!?!?
Next stop….youtube…..
Never mind how the top media picks score against each other; let’s all consider the way one media outcast is scoring against the media. Despite the fact that Dr. Paul has gotten less coverage as a politician than Angelina Jole, he continues to gain support. I am wondering if there might not be a third party upset.
