Arnold Endorses Mccain….Giuliani Looks On!
Los Angeles, California:
At a solar technologies factory in Los Angeles, Arnold Schwarzenegger gave McCain his nod of approval. He gave his endorsement after a tour of the green technology plant. Two days after Rudy’s poor showing in the Florida primary and his endorsing of McCain, he joined them on the tour and also spoke a few words of support for McCain.
The tour highlighted McCain’s emphasis on combating climate change while growing the economy. McCain said the GOP must win independents and moderates in order to keep the White House.
McCain also announced that he would be receiving another major endorsement; that of Rick Perry, the governor of Texas and that would be followed by a flood of endorsements from across the country by both liberals and conservatives.

Watched Arnold endorse McCain and McCain’s comments and just wondering when California became the “largest state in America”! That’s what McCain said….Alaska (where I lived 42 years) and Texas (where I live now) would be very surprised by that!

How does this endorsement help McCain’s huge problem with solid conservatives??
I see him in a photo, flanked by two moderate/liberals who are Republican in name only, not actions.
The media can make a huge storyover it, yet conservatives will say it only further strengthens their misgivings of McCain.
A Mitt nominee will be the only way to keep the Republicans from fracturing to a third party canidate.
Let us look at McCain’s conservative credentials:
-IMMIGRATION: he wrote the bill granting amnesty to illegal immigrants (co-sponsored by Ted Kennedy)
-SOCIAL SECURITY: he voted to give your social security money to illegal immigrants
-TAXES: he voted against the Bush tax cuts multiple times (he has since flip-flopped and has campaigned as a lifelong tax-cutter)
-RHETORIC: he routinely engages in Democratic class warfare against big companies in America, particularly the “evil” drug companies who research cures to debilitating diseases for a profit
-ECONOMY: as recently as December 2007 he admitted “he does not know the economy very well” and needed to get better at it
-1ST AMENDMENT: he wrote the McCain-Feingold campaign finance bill that was declared to be an unconstitutional infringement of the 1st Amendment (co-sponsored by ultra-liberal Democrat Russ Feingold)
-2ND AMENDMENT: he was called the “worst 2nd amendment candidate” by the president of the NRA
-ENERGY TAX: wrote a bill (co-sponsored by his buddy Lieberman) imposing a massive tax on energy which, according to the Department of Energy, would drastically raise the price of gasoline and put 300,000 Americans out of work
-GLOBAL WARMING: supports radical global warming legislation which involved him voting with every Democrat; think only America is responsible to take action, not other superpowers
-JUDGES: he joined forces with Democrats (Gang of 14) to block the Senate Republican’s attempt to confirm conservative, strict constructionist judges
-WAR ON TERROR: fought with Hillary Clinton to demand that terrorists be given a full American trial
-GAY MARRIAGE: he joined liberals to fight against a federal marriage amendment supporting the institution of traditional marriage
-CHRISTIANS: campaigning in 2000, he famously described Christian leaders as “agents of intolerance”
-PRO-LIFE: he filed an amicus brief against pro-life advocates in Wisconsin
-BI-PARTISANSHIP: he met with leading Democrats in 2004 to discuss the possibility of being John Kerry’s Vice-President
-PROFESSIONAL ETHICS: ringleader of the infamous Keating 5 ethical scandal which cost US tax payers $160 billion (Google it)
-PERSONAL ETHICS: McCain cheated on his first wife after she had a severe accident that left her partially disabled. He then divorced her and married his multi-millionaire mistress, whose daddy bought McCain a spot in the Congress
If I wanted to elect a Democrat, I would vote for Hillary or Obama.

How can people think that Arnolds endorsement is a good thing? Look at the state that California is in. The United States cannot withstand a President like McCain. If the people elect him then the people will get what they deserve.
Arnold is a lib and Giuliani true colors are coming out. His conservative ideals are obviously not as important as his want for some peice of the power pie. Even when Giulian was touting his consevatism it was for some reason hard to beleive. It is now easy to understand why we have all felt this way; he was a talker and not a doer.

CNNs “debate” was so tilted toward McCain and Romney it was sickening to watch. Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul should have been afforded the same amount of time and questions but were constantly ignored while the “anointed” were allowed to ramble on for minutes at a time.

His number in 1981 was 83.5 and in 1996 he scored only 56.7 (out of 100).

Of course Arnold endorses McAmnesty. They are both RINO’s (Republicans in name only for those of you who didnt know) and are outside of the conservative republican mainstream. Huckabee needs to let go of the fact that he has no chance to win and do the honorable thing. Do the solid, republican, core christian values thing…and endorse Mitt Romney! I think this could push my boy Mitt over the top.

John McCain is acting like a winner. A bad-tempered winner with no sense of perspective, a chip on his shoulder the size of his well-fed ego, and an arrogant disregard for the precepts of the President whose “foot soldier” he claims he was so many years ago. Apparently, McCain thinks that being in government service the same time as Ronnie qualifies him to make that claim, although such a lax definition would allow Mikhail Gorbachev the same honor.
But a winner nonetheless, in the same way we saw ‘winner’ defined, back in the days when an NBA team would celebrate with gangsta imitations, in the same way that Floyd Landis figured no one would dare investigate his doped-up Tour de France win, and so on.
Anyway, McCain is going on these days about what a great ‘conservative’ he is, by which we are supposed to accept the hijacking of Senate Judicial hearings, the suppression of individual political speech just before an election, and insubordination of party leadership whenever they disagree with him as proud hallmarks of the Reagan Revolution. Apparently, McCain believes that his present position in front of the GOP race gives him the right to redefine terms, to lie about his opponents, and to declare the race over. But to that I call not so fast, Senator McCain, this race is not nearly done. In fact, it’s just warming up.
Tuesday, February 5, twenty-two states will hold their GOP caucus or primary, with 1,102 delegates riding on the outcome. For comparison, all six states which have had a GOP primary or caucus up to now have accounted for a total of only 181 delegates, and some of those are uncommitted. For all the hoo-dah in the media, the fact is that it takes 1,191 delegates to secure the nomination, and none of the candidates has even cleared a hundred in his tally yet. Seems McCain is real anxious that most of the country does not get a chance to say whether or not this chucklehead should carry the banner of the Republican party into the fall. I certainly understand why McCain would want to shut the doors now, but it’s important we don’t get fooled by his act.
To be sure, McCain did a hero’s service during the Vietnam War. In challenging his hubris, I want to make clear that I am not denying the man his due as a hero. For those unclear on that point, what made McCain a hero during Vietnam was not simply that he was prisoner of war, but that because of his high profile as the son of the Navy’s CNO, McCain was the subject of much worse torture and pressure from the North Vietnamese. Not just physical torture, though there was plenty of that, but emotional torture as well, such as suggesting that if he played along, McCain could get his buddies released from prison camps, or trying to give McCain preferential treatment so the Communists could gain a propaganda victory. For six years, John McCain defied his captors, and was a lasting source of strength to his fellow prisoners.
McCain’s lesser qualities appear, however, in his work as a Senator. As a Senator, McCain quickly established a stubborn refusal to work with anyone who was not going completely in his direction, and more than once McCain defied GOP leadership in critical situations, most notably during the George W. Bush Administration. Bitter from his 2000 primary defeats, McCain was one of only two Republican senators who voted against the Bush tax cuts, saying that he wanted spending cut first, but also that he opposed “tax cuts for the rich”.
McCain was one of the writers of the infamous McCain-Feingold campaign finance law, which basically tries to stifle anyone discussing an election in the last month before it happens. McCain has never apologized for that assault on the First Amendment.
Then there is the “gang of 14″, another example of McCain leadership where McCain decided that having the Senate actually do its job as a body and vote on judicial appointments was not good, that one-seventh of the Senate could make back-room deals on judges, not even based on their qualifications, but purely to expedite political arrangements. Again, McCain has never apologized for railroading qualified judges and defying the Constitutional role of the United States Senate. Indeed, McCain seems to think he can gloss that over and we will let it go, as if it were some minor foible. But the record needs to be seen in total, the times McCain got it right, and the times he got it wrong.
I certainly have issues to some degree with Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee, but in both of their cases, I at least believe they are conducting honest campaigns by the standard we see these days. It is truly disappointing to see a former naval officer of McCain’s repute prostitute his honor in the pursuit of an office he so patently should not perform.
An open letter from a concerned voter to Senator John McCain:
Senator McCain,
Over the years I have been an admirer of your courage as a POW. I have also been impressed when it seemed that you were a man of integrity in the Senate, in spite of your opposition to many Republican and conservative positions. However, during the course of the current campaign, I have become convinced that I was wrong to think so highly of you. I no longer recognize you as the hero who long ago stood up to your Vietnamese captors and defended what was right. Let me explain why.
I have observed your recent debates and political posturing, including your dishonest attacks on Governor Mitt Romney’s position on Iraq. I say dishonest because I have read the entire transcript and watched the video of Romney’s April 2006 Good Morning America interview, upon which you based your attack. Frankly, I do not see how any honest observer could conclude that Romney ever supported the Democrats’ proposed legislation imposing a timeline for a withdrawal from Iraq. In that interview Romney specifically stated that as president he would veto any such proposal. What part of veto did you not understand? Romney went on at some length to explain exactly why he would veto that type of “timeline for surrender”. Romney did also discuss some private timelines and benchmarks that he would apply in dealing with the Iraqi government. Haven’t President Bush, General Patreus and even you also supported such plans as part of our war strategy? You even said that if your benchmarks were not met you would withdraw the troops. Couldn’t that be misconstrued as your own timeline for withdrawal? Your continued attacks on Romney on this phony issue say nothing about Romney, but do raise troubling questions as to your own honesty, character and intellect.
Why is this all so important to me? It goes far beyond an honest debate on Iraq policy or mere election year politics. It goes directly to the character issues that I believe are of utmost importance in selecting a president. I know that you never attended Harvard Law School, but most Americans know, either from jury duty or from inherent good sense, that a person who is intentionally untruthful on one important matter may be distrusted on all others. If you can look the American people in the eye and blatantly lie about Romney’s Iraq position, how can we trust you on other important issues facing our country? Frankly, your campaign tactics reek of Clinton-style ethics.
Beyond your lack of honesty, I am concerned by your pathological inability to concede any error in political judgment. Your lie about Romney is just one example where you stubbornly cling to a position even when confronted with incontrovertible evidence that you were wrong. You somehow believe that you are always right, even when your current position has changed 180 degrees from what your have said in the past. On the Kennedy/McCain amnesty bill, which the American people rejected so vehemently, you now say that you support securing the border first. But, if you can’t admit that you were wrong previously on amnesty, how can we believe your election year conversion to border security? In fact, on Meet the Press on January 27, 2008, you told Tim Russert that, if given the opportunity as president, you would sign the Kennedy/McCain amnesty bill. So, how can we know which is the real McCain policy?
On the issue of the Bush tax cuts that you voted against, you have changed your public justification for your votes. Do you think that we don’t remember what you said at the time about “tax cuts for the rich”? Why should we believe you when you say that your real reason for voting against the tax cuts was because spending was not being controlled? Inexplicably, you also say now that you support making the same tax cuts permanent. Were you wrong before, or do you think that spending is suddenly under control? If Romney took such inconsistent and illogical positions you would deride him as a “flip-flopper”.
Your choices on campaign tactics, amnesty and tax cuts show that your judgment is seriously flawed. Your inability to even recognize such errors is itself a flaw in character. What is it about your psyche that prevents you from saying, “I was wrong.”? Integrity is not believing you are never wrong. Humility is not weakness. Stubborn adherence to a known mistake is simply foolish. As president, how could you objectively deal with complex legal, diplomatic and economic issues if you ignore the plain facts and only see what you want to see? In a time of crisis, will you misconstrue a foreign leader’s words to fit your own preconceived notions or to justify your own past mistakes? Where will that lead us?
It is now clear to me that you lack the personal integrity, judgment and intellect the presidency requires. I cannot support you in the primary, and I will not vote for you if you are nominated. You are manifestly unfit for office. You may not like to hear it, but that is straight talk.

Carl why don’t you ever bring up the issue of McCain not being to answer a single question that doesn’t deal with war? In every debate, McCain is asked about things such as the economy and health care and he tries to relate it back to Iraq or his war experience on every issue! I have all the respect in the world for him after his service to our country, but he is a joke as a Presidential candidate. You need to point out that he is a one-trick pony and now he is resorting to lying about Romney’s record because he knows he can not match up on the issues with Mitt. This is getting ridiculous!
It will be interesting to see who the Conservative McCain has endorsing him could be as what I’ve heard most Conservatives say is they will not be voting if he is the Republican candidate and I count myself among them. Last night’s debate I believe was a fine example of the anger this man has for anything Conservative. His attack on Mr. Romney was classic hatred for all we stand for and I found it disgusting and hate filled! This is not a man with all his anger that I would want to see in the White House and considering what he has (or has not) done in Congress exhibts he is a MAVERICK JUST LIKE HIS BUDDY LIEBERMAN WHO HAS BEEN OUSTED FROM HIS OWN PARTY!

I think that it is great if people want to endorse their favorite candidate. But I hope people realize what they want for themselves. America is a place where each person votes based on their opinions of the candidate for presidency, and not the opinions of a governor, mayor, senator, etc.

The likes of Rush Limbaugh, FNC’s Shawn “you are so busted” Hanity, and the like supported Arnold Schwarzenegger over California State Senator Tom McClintock…the true conservative in the California Gubernatorial recall election in 2003…I voted and supported McClintock, because McClintock was “unelectable” when he routinely gleans Democratic votes every time he runs for re-election in his home district. I’m sick and tired of hearing them whine because John McCain isn’t “conservative” enough…blah, blah, blah…bovine fertilizer;ENOUGH already. John McCain was born August 29, 1936 in the Panama Canal Zone, to two U.S. citizens. It’s a common misunderstanding that the zone was a U.S. territory – in fact, the U.S. had lease rights, but not territorial rights.
The US Constitution states, “No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.”
“Natural Born Citizen” – “is where ONLY the natural act of one being born in a place determines the status of ones citizenship with no additional stipulations necessary to influence that status”
No law or court ruling has ever established the precise definition of a natural born citizen. It is generally agreed that a natural born citizen of the United States is any person born in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia.
John McCain’s father “Jack” was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa. McCain graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1931. Like his father and son, he graduated near the bottom of his class. He married Roberta Wright, a wealthy oil heiress, on January 21, 1933, in Caesar’s Bar, Tijuana, Mexico. During WW II he commanded the submarine Gunnel at Operation Torch. The National Archives in College Park, Maryland includes in its files on casualties from the Liberty copies of the original telegrams the Navy sent out to family members. The telegrams which called the attack accidental, were sent out June 9, the day before the Navy court of inquiry convened .
When Senator McCain was asked to reopen and conduct a proper investigation into the USS Liberty’s attack he stated that he wasn’t going to do anything about it because the “matter was thoroughly reviewed.”
Senator McCain also collaborated with ultra liberal Senator Ted Kennedy to attempt to provide amnesty to nearly 40 million illegal aliens, mostly Mexican.

As a matter of fact, the U.S. is not to have a “standing Army” and all the documents evidencing the intent of the authors of the Constitution, warned against becoming involved in foreign entanglements. The U.S. had zero foreign based military forces and certainly did not approve of, envision, or condone having babies and raising families on foreign based U.S. military installations. The intent of the authors of the Constitution is exactly opposite the policy twentieth century U.S. government has pursued.
The Constitution of the United States, Article 1, Section 8, vests in Congress the power “to establish an uniform rule of naturalization.” “Naturalization” is NOT synonymous with “Natural Born Citizen.”
In order to come to a Constitutional definition of “Natural Born Citizen,” one must look to the common meaning and understanding of the phrase at the time it was written.
The Constitution has been called a “living document” by liberal progressives who think they know better than the authors of the Constitution and want what they want with disregard for The Supreme Law of the Land. In one way, and one way only, is the Constitution a living document. The authors of the Constitution gave a specific process to add to or subtract from the Constitution and that is by amendment. The Supreme Court, the U.S. Congress nor the President of the United States are granted the authority to define or change the Constitution in any way, they only have an obligation and duty to obey it.
There were no foreign based US military forces at the writing of the U.S. Constitution, therefore, it is impossible that the intent of the Constitution was to have babies born to civilian wives of military personnel be considered “Natural Born Citizens.” The only authority the government may lawfully exercise, through the U.S. Congress, is to declare these children to be “naturalized Citizens” at birth based upon the U.S. , Congress’s authority “establish an uniform rule of Naturalization.” I must reiterate, not the U.S. Congress, the U.S. Supreme Court nor the President of the United States is “authorized” to define or change the meaning, definition, or intent of “Natural Born Citizen” as prescribed by the authors of the Constitution.
The original “intent” and therefore meaning and definition of “Natural Born Citizen” is one free white man being delivered through natural progression of a pregnancy, born within the geographical boundaries of one of the several States of the union, and later the District of Columbia. This is very clear and simple and what it means is born HERE.
In the Fourteenth Amendment the eligible group allowed Citizenship was expanded from free white men to “All persons.” This would have been better stated “all people” to avoid the bogus recognition of a corporation being a “person.” This would have been better as it would have clarified the meaning as intended, which is having rights of people but lacking any of the liabilities. One cannot imprison a corporation, but that is for a later article.
The Fourteenth Amendment, Section 1 actually defines “natural born citizen” by stating, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”
One’s wishes of what one feels things should be must yield to facts of law and one must accept the way things are according to the law until such time one is able to change the law.
There are two types of Citizenship in the United States, Natural Born and Naturalized. The fourteenth amendment defines “Natural Born Citizen” as persons born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof. It goes on to explain that there exists a dual Citizenship that includes the United States and of the State in which on lives. This in itself serves to demonstrate that Natural Born Citizen being born in the United States means within one of the several united States of America.
People may feel that it is not right that John McCain is not eligible to be President of the United States of America, however, this is a fact of law. “No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President. There are two types of Citizenship in the United States “Natural Born” and “Naturalized.” Congress has authority to make rules as to how to become a “naturalized citizen.” There is no such authority granted to Congress, the Court, or the President to define “Natural Born Citizen.”
Given the fact the United States official and long term military enclaves presence within foreign nations was not authorized and in fact was cautioned against by the authors of the founding documents of this nation including but not limited to the Constitution it is not only unlikely but impossible that the authors intended anyone born outside the several States of the United States, for any reason, to be considered “Natural Born Citizens” of the United States. This position and fact is second witnessed and verified by the fourteenth amendment, section 1 where it states clearly the two forms of United States Citizenship and defines Natural Born Citizen as “all persons born…in the United States…”.
Some will attempt to argue the point that U.S. military bases are under the jurisdiction of the United States and the fourteenth amendment mentions that. The fourteenth amendment states, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.” The word “and” means “as well as” being born in the United States. Being born only under the jurisdiction of the United States, as some misguided military people would like to imagine, is not good enough. Some would like to believe that because the “United States” has a Status of Forces Agreement with a foreign government that military bases are somehow “sovereign” U.S. territory. If you murder a Panamanian citizen in Oregon you will be arrested by Oregon police, go through the Oregon courts and be imprisoned in Oregon, and now some other state maybe, but still within the U.S. If you murder a Panamanian citizen on a U.S. military base in Panama you will be arrested by Panamanian police, go through the Panamanian courts and be imprisoned in Panama. So much for “sovereignty.”
All this discussion is nothing more than hot air and a waste of time that is off point. The point is that one cannot build a viable position on a non-existent foundation. In this case the foundation is the Constitution and the intent of the authors, NOT Status of Forces Agreements and worthless arguments by military men who would like to have babies on foreign soil, calling them natural born Citizens and have them run for President some day.
The authors of the U.S. founding documents counseled against becoming entangled in foreign wars. They also had a distinct distaste for colonial empire building. So now we are to believe that it was their intent to designate the prodigy, born on foreign soil, of the American centurion colonizing for the empire as a Natural Born Citizen?
The fourteenth amendment states “born or naturalized in the United States,” that is IN the United States. At the time of the writing of the Constitution it was properly written as united States of America as the word “united” was describing the condition of the States not a proper name of a thing. The Congress can direct that persons may be “Naturalized” “in” the United States to mean embassies, military bases or wherever else they decide. That is what they are authorized to do. However, they are NOT authorized to redefine what “Natural Born Citizen” means. It means what it meant to the authors of the Constitution. The US did not have foreign military bases at the time the Constitution was authored. Therefore “born on a US military base in a foreign country” is NOT what they meant by “Natural Born Citizen.”
The intention of the authors of the Constitution was that no person born outside the geographical boundaries of the several States of the United States of America be eligible to hold the office of President of the United States of America. There are consequences to disregarding the Constitution and the intent of the authors of our founding documents. There are consequences to following a course of empire building by military might. There are consequences to being born on foreign soil as a son or daughter of a centurion of that empire building military. You are not Constitutionally eligible to be President of the United States of America.

You may think because military and government “experts” tell you a military base in a foreign country is actually the United States that it’s okay for John McCain to hold the office of President of the United States. Interesting all of these titles reference is given in reverence to those who claim them. I find that the Preacher, Minister, Christian, Evangelical Huckabee and his dear advisor Dick Morris distain and hatred for Mitt Romney diminishes the respect attributed to those who wear the collar. The advice Morris would give anyone else with low polling numbers like Huckabee would be to get out. Their hatred of Romney along with their political agenda is as transparent as glass and in the end will elect Obama or Hillary. No question about it!

Just another sign that the establishment wants McCain to win. I don’t know what McCain has done for the establishment, but he has clearly done something. There seem to be a large number of Senators that strongly disagreed with McCain in the past, but now they are endorsing him (Trent Lott, for example). The attitude almost seems to be “Well, he paid his dues. I guess its his turn.” Because Romney isn’t part of the establishment, no one feels any obligation to help him out.
The media seems to be taking the same approach. McCain flip-flops, lies and panders just as much as Romney or Huckabee or Guilani, but no one points it out. I have seen him tell straight lies in the debts, but there aren’t any articles taking about McCain’s dishonesty or lack of integrity. On the other hand, if Romney presents a fact that could be interpreted in two different ways, the media seems to feel that his efforts to interpret the facts are dishonest. McCain’s either “hits hard” or “strikes” at Romney when using negative attack, but Romney is “playing dirty” when he does the same.
Another thing, no one in the media seems to point out that Romney has been running against two candidates in every single primary. McCain “backed” Huckabee in Iowa to slow Romney’s momentum and Huckabee attacked Romney in New Hampshire to boast McCain. They tried the tag team in Michigan but it didn’t work. In Florida, Huckabee stopped campaigning for himself and started attacking Romney and defending McCain. No one seems to point out the fact that Huckabee is probably staying in the race because he knows if he doesn’t, Romney would not have to share the conservative vote and therefore, he would win several more states.
The establishment and the media seem to have annointed their president and i don’t know if there is anything we can do about it. Unfortunately, most people in America don’t understand politics and are willing to take what is given to them. This is yet another failure of our political system. Maybe a win by the democrats will wake people up or maybe it will be in the best interest of the country. I am pretty sure we are going to find out come November.
Let’s not forget that Romney is still in it. VOTE ROMNEY!!! We have a real chance of putting our country back on track with a proven leader who HAS much more conservative stances than McCain, Billary and Obama. VOTE ROMNEY! Romney is not giving up. He is fighting, it is the media that would like to you to believe otherwise. IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH MCCAIN, THEN FIGHT FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN!!!!

There are still three people in the race. 42% of the delegates will be handed out this Tuesday. 40% more will be handed out after Super Tuesday. Thompson, Hunter and Paul’s delegates will have to decided on a new candidate.

I love this country so much that I am going to write and report only bias stories in favor of John McCain because he can collaps our country. Huh?
