Actually, Governor Huckabee has A LOT of committed supporters. The media has largely counted him out, But he will make a strong showing in many states. Plus, he is not just capable of getting votes from religious conservatives. He won Arkansas overwhelmingly with votes from all kinds of people, including over 40% African American votes. Don’t fall for the hype — the media coverage of him is designed to strip his votes and boost the network’s candidate of choice.

Huckabee is non-starter. Romney or McCain is all you have. McCain is an old, sickly, vile and nasty person. Romney whatever he had to do in MA will be far to the right of McCain. McCain has been stabbling me in back for 8 years, I will not be saying that I admire his courage, integrity etc., and ignore the stab wounds. A person of courage and integrity does involve himself in back stabbing. He will be toast in the general anyway that is why the press is pushing him on us. What could be better a liberal representing the republicans. Oh you say,” he is against earmarks” but his immigration bill would have represented total bankruptcy for the nation. So, conservative he is not.

McCain is an angry war monger. All he knows is war. He fights his party, he fights his colleagues, he has a deep personal hatred born of years as a prisoner. He sings “bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb Iran” like its a joke, but it reveals who he is, a man forever at war. Reagan and Bush 41 were hawks, but they didn’t joke about war. They were statesmen who understood their place in the world. They spoke softly and carried a big stick. McCain is forever looking for some kind of revenge or payback for what he suffered. That’s not leadership. It’s an obstinant sense of entitlement. He believes America owes him the Presidency. Well Senator, America doesn’t owe you more than it owes any other veteran.

I want to vote for Romney but he’s so far behind in the polls.

He also doesn;t have all the endorsements that McCain has.

So if I vote for Romney, my vote will be wasted.

So I am going to vote for Huckabee instead.

Well yippee!!! Look, I am a moderate republican which means I am not so hard headed to believe that the GOP is ALWAYS right and I put America first and my party second. Frankly anyone who doesn’t do that is IMO a disgrace and a contributor to the problem. Hannity, Rush, Coulter, Colmes…these guys are party propagandists whose role is to influence those who do not have the ability to think for themselves. What do you think a “dittohead” is? In short someone who can’t figure it out for themselves so they just say “yeah Rush, I agree with whatever you say”. Hannity is just as bad. They’re extremists. Who cares what they think?

Romney is a fraud. I lived in Mass. when he was Governor and I can tell you honestly, he was a TOTALLY DIFFERENT person 5 years ago than he is now. Ask anyone who lived in Mass. while he was governor. He presented himself as a moderate/liberal. He now is pretending to be a Reagan conservative in order to get the nomination, but most intelligent people aren’t buying it. He is a total phony.
