SUPER TUESDAY BATTLEGROUND STATES

SHOW ME STATE IS A 3 MAN SHOWDOWN, TENNESSEE IS A TOSSUP TOO, MCCAIN LOOKS FOR ALABAMA GETAWAY.

Missouri is winner take all with 58 delegates. The latest ARG polls out today shows Huckabee leading 31-29 over McCain with Romney at 27.

McCain appears to have a hammer lock on NY, NJ, Ct, DE, and Az,,,for a total of 251 delegates to start. He leads in Delaware 41-35 over Romney in the latest ARG poll.

Romney has Utah in hand where there is a large Mormon population and 36 winner take all delegates. Massachusetts has 43 delegates and Romney has a big lead but it is not winner take all and McCain is playing to win there. Romney is also making a move on West Virginia’s 18 winner take all delegates, and competing in Co., Mn., Mt., and N.D.
Mike Huckabee leads the RCP average of polls in Georgia based on a big bump in a recent Insider Advantage survey. Huck trailed in two earlier polls, Georgia has 72 non-winner take all delegates. Arkansas should be a gimmee for Huck with its 34 proportionately awarded delegates.

There is also a poll from WSMV-TV that shows Huckabee leading in Tennessee 24-23 over McCain.

Right now I predict Huck will take Arkansas and score about 170 delegates on Super Tuesday. I currently have Romney taking Alaska, North Dakota, Maine, Colorado, Massachussets, Utah, and Montana scoring about 290 delegates, and McCain taking California, New York, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, Arizona, New Jersey, Alabama, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Connecticut, West Virginia, and Delaware for about 600 delegates. That will most likely put the stake in the heart of Romney and Huck.

ROMNEY SUPPORTERS (please read)!!!!!!!!

We need to start exposing McCain’s 2 big personal scandals to tip the scales to Mitt. This guy will say and do anything to sabotage Romney and it’s about time he give him a bit of his own medicine.

We need to expose:

1) McCain cheating on his disabled wife with a mistress half his age, McCain divorcing his disabled wife then marrying his millionaire mistress, and then having her rich daddy buy his seat in Congress.

2) Keating 5 ethics scandal and how McCain was the only member of the rebuked 5 not to resign his seat in Congress.

Mitt has had too much class to bring this up, but we must! The American people, who know nothing about these scandals, are evidently under the delusion that McCain is a straight-talker and man of honor. We must spend today spreading the TRUTH of why he is not.

This is a national primary. The early states have an impact, but there are millions waiting to weight in with their own vote.

Huckabee is performing far better than the media reports.

Comment by Jim

McCain wins the liberal states – what a surprise.
Huckabee still going strong in spite of Carl and his fellow journalist’s attempts to destroy his chances.
Can Mitt buy the white house?

Comment by Hope, Arkansas

Whatever! The fact still remains. A vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain. A vote for McCain is a vote for Hillary. After all is said and done the winner is Hillary. McCain has too much baggage with him. Bill Clinton even said that Hillary and McCain are the best of friends. We have all been duped. The strategy has always been to have McCain as the Republican nominee. Rudy Guillani was in on it. That is why he did not run in the earlier primaries. He handed Florida to McCain then endorsed him. Huckabee will not bow out because his role is to knock Romney out. It doesn’t matter. The Democrats win in the end. Hillary for President. McCain for VP. Huckabee the Preacher in the White House. Guillani the Seceretay of Defense.

Don’t you people understand? McCain and Hillary are one and the same. It is not Republican v. Democrats. It is now a battle between conservatives and liberals. And when you look at it the liberals are winning. They have Hillary and McCain on their side. Huckabee and Guillani are liberals. Just look at their records.

If you have any sense at all VOTE RON PAUL!

Dear Carl, In your report (likely the only thing you will do all day),you botched the Missouri numbers, you McCain lap dog and poor excuse for a reporter. Get a clue and start being unbiased you political hack!

f anyone needs to step aside its Huckabee and McCain two liberals we can do without. Say what you will, neither one of these candidates will be supported by the conservative wing of the Party. Mitt Romney is the conservative’s best friend. McCain and Huckabee are two peas in a pod. Neither one is honest or trustworthy. I’m tired of the drive-by media telling us McCain is the only one that might win the general election. Well, don’t count on it – it won’t happen. Might as well vote for the best candidate Mitt Romney.

Hey Fox News… Whats up with your poll showing McCaine 48 and Romney 20. Rassmussen has to tied 30 to 30…Somebody is way off. Way outside the margin of error. If you are wrong, posting a wildly inaccurate poll just before super tuesday will not be your finest hour.. Many people are suggesting you are already in the tank for McCaine. I must admit Ive thought you have been very biased. I like Mitt so its possible im to sensitive to this. What youall think?

Ok people try to use your heads here. If you listen to the candidates then you hear the DEM’s talk about ending the war in Iraq and Universal Health care. Neither of these are realistic. Have you already forgot the pledge by the DEM’s when they took over the House and Senate. They all won with the empty promise of ending the war, how did that work out? It can not happen over night. Please try to think. Next is the issue of health care, if you want your doctors to decrease the number of patients they see in a day, and increase the wait time for you to see them or if you want to see the number of people going into health care decrease then you should vote for the DEM’s otherwise if you have the ability to think for independently then vote MITT.

Comment by Gary S.

I think the media has swayed the public opinion so much about this election, that is why Romney (may) be behind and could lose the nomination. Over and over again, he wins the conservative vote everywhere. I have a proposal? If, as many believe, a vote for Huck or McCain is a vote for Hillary, why not have Mitt run as an independant if he doesn’t get the nomination. He could run on the “Conservative” ticket! Think about it. Maybe enough voters would be split between Hillary and McCain that Mitt could win it all! Now, if someone out there reading this has any real say so or influence, maybe you could be instrumental in making this happen, if necessary.

Huck is a snake in the grass. He can not lead, unless you consider giving illegals college scholarships leadership. He has only been in charge of a backwood state such as AR. He is typical of the two face baptist that we see everyday. Vote Mccain

It’s good to see FOXNEWS is finally admitting Huckabee is still in the race. I was starting to think I would never be able to watch my favorite cable network again. I’ll program you back into my TV. I honestly want the best candidate to win from both parties. We should get to choose from the best in November. I believe Mike Huckabee is the best candidate on the GOP side. He is a tremendous leader. It seems his wife, Janet has leadership abilities, too. I’ve heard she swings a mean hammer when working for habitat for humanity. Governor Huckabee has a tremendous speaking ability. If he is elected President, I will look forward to his speeches. I hope he never loses his sense of humor. “Laughter is the best medicine,” could be a part of his dealing with the health crisis. When I was hospitalized the nurses said the patients that laughed the most got well the fastest. It’s not very expensive treatment, either. It also made the nurses job easier when the patient had a pleasant sense of humor.

Dear Mr. Cameron,
Congratulations for being one of the few journalists painting an accurate picture of the primary race. It is indeed a 3 or 4 person race.
One thing I find interesting is the shift in rhetoric being used by the Romney loyalists. It used to be they were saying that Mike Huckabee was a liberal. Now his apologists are saying that Huckabee is splitting the conservative vote. Well, you can’t have it both ways. Is he a liberal or a conservative?
I also think it is faulty reasoning to say that he is taking votes from Romney. I for one would rather vote for McCain ( a prospect I don’t relish) than Romney. I may not agree with all of McCain’s stances, but I know where he stands. I don’t trust Romney and can’t shake the suspicion that he will say or do anything for a vote. Who is he? Watching all the different YouTube videos of him taking very strong stances against things very important to me (Reagan-Bush legacy, pro-life, defining marrriage as between man/woman…) and now totally reversing himself doesn’t breed confidence. He says, “look at my record.” O.K. His health plan in MA includes $50 copays for abortions. He had the marriage licenses changed to read “Party A” and “Party B” from “Husband” and “Wife” and the people of MA say his health care plan has turned out to be forced state coverage that is running the state into deficit.
I will vote for Mike Huckabee because I love his strong stance, his gift for communicating his ideas and getting people on board, and his record of 10 1/2 years as governor. He was voted by his Governor peers to be the head of their organization. That is quite an endorsement. Even Romney said in 2005 that Huckabee would make a great President.

I live in Birmingham, Alabama. The area where I live is called the Highlands area. It is one of the historical districts, here in the city itself which is predominatly white. I work in management for a furniture sales company here in town as well. One of the things that I have noticed since moving to Birmingham a few years ago, is that thare is still a division among the races to a certain extent. When my wife and I go out to eat at some restaurants, blacks sit on one side, and whites sit on the other side. Some of the older buildings downtown which are now being turned into condominums, one can see on the old facads where they still have the old markings where the signs used to be designating certain enterances for certain people and so on.

Now, the majority of our clientell at our store is African American and I have yet to hear any of them talk about politics as it pertains to Obama. Note the Irony. I have yet to have a discussion of any kind as it pertains to politics in general with any of the African American co-workers here at Aaron’s Sales and Lease, which is the company that I work for.

It is almost as if there is an invisible election taking place here in the city that was once the most racist city in America. For many of us it is a foregone conclusion that all the Blacks will vote for Obama and some whites will a well. But there is still that underlying division that will always be here in Birmingham, because ALOT of whites and blacks still do not even talk to eachother in this town.

Why isn’t the media covering the Maine primary results? Is it because Romney won? Is it because the elitist, media, establishment class got crushed? Everytime Romney wins – wyoming, nevada, michigan – it’s not important enough to even mention. When McCain wins he’s the man, gogs gift to the world, what a guy. No mention that the two rhinos from maine both endorsed their fellow rhino either. Very interesting. If McCain would have won they would be doing wall-to-wall coverage about how momentum is carrying him, blah blah blah.

I can’t wait to see what 3rd party pops up over the summer. This could be very interesting.

Comment by Doug Brunnette

This is the time for the conservative Republicans to step up to the plate. McCain is not a conservative no matter how he tries to paint himself. Washington needs a new voice not a voice of past inaction and stalemate. Either Romney or Huckabee would be a better choice. Realistically, Romney has the better shot at it. He knows how to turn things around in a positive way. He is a proven leader and will stick to his values, just look at his family and how he lives his life.

True Republicans need to send a message on Super Tuesday. Don’t let McCain get away with this. Remember his dirty trick the Saturday before the Florida primary. If people want typical Washington politics as usual then vote for McCain. It is time for a change. Have the guts to vote for Mitt Romney.

Comment by Amy Hale

People need to stop believing the media who say that Huckabee has no chance. This is not true! Voters should vote their conscience and not be swayed by campaigns that say “a vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain”. Stand up for what you believe in and don’t let others tell you how to vote. If everyone will vote for who they want for president instead of who they think can win, then we can take this country back. Be courageous and stand up for the true conservative in this race. Look at what Huckabee believes in and stop believing others. Check for yourself. Don’t let anyone tell you who you should vote for.

As a “Hillbilly” living here in SouthWest Missouri, I can tell you why Gov, Huckabee is so popular here. It is not because he is a Baptist preacher (although it helps), itn is because he is the only one left in this race who supports the 2nd Amendment of the constitution (besides Ron Paul). There are lots of Hunters, and outdoorsmen (and women) here. Both McCain and Romney have both supported weapons bans in the past, McCain voted for Bill Clinton’s 1994 Assult Weapons Ban, and Romney says he will support future a Assult Weapons Ban, which by the way a new one is in the House (HR1022 – Assult Weapons Ban of 2007). Romney also supported the Brady Bill. We all know Hillary and Obama favor gun control. Ted Nugent’s endorsement of Gov. Huckabee was huge because not only is Ted very political, he is very outdoorsey as well.

Polls do not mean anything and are never accurate. Polls are a tool for the mass media to push their favored candidate. You can make a poll show that anyone is leading.

Why do you reporters continually base your predictions on these polls? To push your agenda of course. Who cares what the polls say it is ending results that matter.

Comment by Jackie Cox

A McCain/Huckabee ticket is looking more and more palatable and, I think, one that would bring our divisive country back as one. It would definitely be a powerful force against the treacherous path that Obama and Hillary are proposing.

Comment by Christine

If you care about illegal immagration then you could not possibly think McCain is your man. He admitted tha his stat of AZ has the worst problem in the country, if he was trying to start the problem he would have started there. Who do you think the 12 million plus illegals will vote for if they get amnesty? That is why the Republican establishment is backing McCain. It’s the hispanic vote.

Is it Festus from Gunsmoke or Barney Fife from Mayberry or Huckabee from Leno? Either way, can you truly imagine this guy visiting with N. Korea for McCain or Putin in Russia? That’s like, Billimmy Carter in Lybia in the 70’s.
No way the Media will let this happen. even if McCain’s sidekick Huck takes his guitar. Let alone that if McCain should get the nomination, believe me, all the negatives will come out by the media. Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, (Nuclear briefcase?), “F******g” his “MY friends” in the Senate that do not agree, divorcing his first wife while she was trying to recover from a major car accident, for Cindy, Keating 5, Against Tax cuts, now should be permanent, Hero, Hero, Hero, while his father was an Admiral in the Asian Theatre (better believe he was well protected by the VC), 25+ years in DC with nearly nothing achieved but liberal bills, most were killed by his peers, unfortunately ill, and 72 years old, etc. The media wil have a heyday. Let alone Obillary!
Now yes, Romney is an outsider, he is wealthy instead of McCains’ wife, yes he is from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, how tragic! He has high morals and family values, and Romney never stated he does not need the Religious Right (like McCain did)?
Romney, get smart, let McCain run and lose, then run in 2012 and fix the stuff that will undoubtedly need serious attention like Reagan did after Mr. Peanut Carter, who gave away the Panama Canal, lost nearly all Central America to Communism, 18% interest, double digit inflation, too much to mention in a measly four years!
Sometimes it may be good to reset reality.

Oh boy, those that get subliminally brainwashed by the media with Catch words, let’s see? Flip Flopper, gee so original. As if McCain has kept to the issues? Now he says he wants the tax cuts permanent? He’s also now for a fence? I guess to keep the Camanche or Sioux out, being that he will allow all twelve million+ (ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS) Law-breakers to stay? Where has he been for 25+ years? This is a good example of MEDIA IMPRINTING. Remember the ole’ “Guilty as Sin” quote in the 1990’s, though when I asked “them” how they knew, they did not know why as they were not on the jury, but it must be true? Because the media said so?
With all due respect, in that McCain could only make the rank of Captain, as opposed to his father and Grandad, who were Admirals, do you wonder…….why? Just ask all the Republican Senators that he has used the F*** word in addressing them if they did not agree with thin-skinned McCain? Boy this guy really makes me sleep well at night, just thinking that he were ACCIDENTALLY the President, while RINO MCCAIN’S TRUSTY SIDE-KICK, Huck, plays the guitar.
There really may be something to the prophecy of 2012 as to the “end of days” since McCain would have the Nuclear briefcase, coincidentally. Did you ever see “The Hunt for Red October”?
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is not a catch line, like “flip-flop”, but a very true mental disease. I’m sorry. I do respect his military service, though, how being a POW with your dad being an Admiral, makes you a hero, I just don’t get it? A fireman saving a life is a hero, dropping 100 sorties of bombs on……? A hero? Who did he save? Yes, I feel for him, but, we use the hero word to liberally, many have died/been wounded in Iraq, for example, defending this country, “are heroes”. Plus, they do not have any ambitions for how it will play in the future. A true hero doesn’t need to remind us everyday, others will.
All said, this is fine but, no one dares go near this issue yet, until he gets the nomination, then watch out for the media. Let’s stop with the rederick and repeating the one liners. Sometimes I think a vote should be based on true knowledge and weigh the vote as to a persons ability to score based on cross referenced facts, 1-10, you get a 1 if you are a parrot, you get 10 if you can demonstrate indenpendent thinking. (no I don’t mean “independent party” as this would score a 1.
So say, “God Bless”, flip-flops, visit “Leno and Lettermen”, let’s talk about “War Heroes”!
But let’s get real and vote for an outsider- Mitt!

McCain and Hucabee would be bad for our country. I will not vote for them. The only true conservative is Mitt. Ann Coulter would vote for Hillary over McCain . I wish I could do my part by voting for Mitt. I hope Foxs News Channel has to eat its words by watching Mitt crush McAmnesty on Tuesday. Kudos to Maine for voting for Mitt. It was the Cuban vote in Florida that beat Mitt. They want an open border policy. Most American conservatives do not. Please…all you people that have a vote on Tuesday. Do the right thing and vote for Mitt! Everyone knows McCain’s policy. He is a nasty old man with a temper! He dumped his helpless wife for a better looking model, and he will dump the American people. Get a good quality person in office that is not a Washington insider. Vote for real change! McCain graduated at the bottom of his class; not Mitt, Mitt graduated at the top of his class. Mitt has real leadership creditials. Please people, don’t let two snake oil salesmen into office.! You Huckabee haters are sooooooo obvious. Let’s see if we can get this straight:

Romney can only win in states that have heavy Mormon participation. But Mike has the one-deep constituency?

The truth about Christianity is heralded. The truth about Mormonism is hidden.

First Mike’s not a conservative…then he’s splitting the conservative vote? Please, you look like idiots.

A vote for Mike is a vote for Mike.

Romney had liberal positions on abortion, gay rights, and guns….just 3 years ago!
That’s more recent than McCain-Feingold! How soon we forget.

Romney founded Bain Venture Capital. Bain bought Clear Channel. Clear Channel is the syndication partner for Rush, Glenn, Hannity….

Romney serves on the board at Marriott Hotels. Marriott is a huge purveyor of pornography with their “adult” movie channels. Some family values, huh?

Romney promised Michigan billions in federal bail-out money. Who’s the liberal now?

Romney saved the Olympics? WHO CARES!!!!

If Romney didn’t have the undying support of whacked out Mormons, and bought-and-paid-for talk radio hosts, he wouldn’t have any support at all!

If you believe otherwise, you’re ignorant or an idiot. Fortunately, ignorance can be cured.

When Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul drop out , then and ONLY THEN will it be a two-man race. What is the Media’s hurry?! Let the American voter decide when it is a three-man race, or two-man race. Let the American voter decide who a vote for Mike Huckabee is really for! Let the American people hear Ron Paul for more than 30 seconds in a national debate. You invite Paul and Huckabee to be at the debate…why not let them speak?! It is really insulting to the American people when the media treats us like a bunch of uneducated idiots who can’t think for ourselves. Tell the media to go shove it…if you want to vote for Huckabee or Paul, go do it! And a note to the members of the media…Just report the news and stop trying to BE the news…we’re over you!

Why Is Obama Getting A Free Pass?

What do you think the national media would do if there was a presidential candidate who attended a church that describes itself as “unashamedly White” with a “non-negotiable commitment to Europe”. The church goes on to say it has a White worship service and ministries that address the White community. The magazine of the church also gave an award to the leader of a White separatist organization because of his influence in the White community. If the above scenario was true, the media would be all over this story until it had run its course.

Well, it is true and the candidate is Senator Barack Obama. He is a member of Trinity United Church of Christ located in Chicago, Illinois. The church says it is “unashamedly Black” and it has a “Black worship service and ministries which address the Black community”.

The church’s magazine, Trumpet News Magazine, also gave its Lifetime Achievement Award to the Minister Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the controversial Nation of Islam. The church gave him the award because he “truly epitomized greatness”.

Please note the following:

1) I do not have a problem with Obama being a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. He has the freedom to worship where ever he feels comfortable and there is nothing wrong with that

2) Trinity United Church of Christ has every right to establish and believe in their tenets of belief and worship. It is not against the law to have a “unashamedly Black congregation” just as it is okay to have a “unashamedly White congregation”. I believe it’s tacky and wrong, but it is not against the law.

3) The church has every right to give their award to Farrakhan if that is what they want to do. I respect their right to choose their honorees, but I do not have to agree with their selections.

What I have a problem with is the national media coverage of this issue. If Obama was White, this issue would have been a front page story. Obama would have been forced to disassociate himself with his church and make a public denouncement of Farrakhan and his beliefs. Obama would have had to do more than issue a press release addressing the issue. It seems that the majority of the mainstream press does not want to press Obama on certain subjects because they do not want to be seen as racist.

It is not racist to ask Obama tough questions on racial issues or ideology. I don’t care what some civil rights activists would have you believe. What is wrong with asking him questions regarding where he attends church? Republican candidate Mitt Romney is almost questioned daily regarding his being a Mormon. For example, I would like to know why his church is asking its members to boycott Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club? I would like to know the answer to that question? Maybe there is a reason I should not shop at those stores.

I just want to see unbiased press coverage of the candidates. Every day, I read about Senator Hillary Clinton’s negative issues, which are well documented. However, I want to know about Obama’s problems also. I will say this much – Obama and his campaign staff are running a smooth campaign. They have done a good job controlling when he is the “Black candidate” and the “American candidate”. Obama does not want a debate about race during the primary campaign because he does not want to scare off some of his racially sensitive White supporters. However, it’s okay if he brings up the subject of race to recruit the Black vote, but no one else can do it. These are the “Obama Rules”.

It is interesting to me that the closer McCain seems to get to winning the nomination the more you hear moderate-liberal Republicans blaming conservatives for his possible defeat in the general election. If millions of conservatives sit this one out,or vote for a third party candidate,McCain doesn’t stand a chance. But the only people to blame for putting Clinton or Obama in the White House will be the idiots who handed the Republican nomination to a liberal in the first place. You make your liberal bed-you have to sleep in it!

So Romney thinks that Huckabee is splitting his side of the vote? Apparently Hannity, Rushbo, Coulter, Ingraham, and others believe this too by their constant blabbing over the last couple days. My question is this:

How is Mike Huckabee stealing Romney votes if Mike Huckabee is such a Liberal according to Romney and all the Elites? All I have heard over the last 4 months is how Liberal Mike Huckabee is but now all of a sudden he is stealing the Conservative vote from Romney. Give me a break!

Those of you who think Mitt Romney is a “true conservative” keep pointing out flaws in ther other candidates.

I find this amusing, as Mitt Romney has not been a conservative over the years of his political career. He tells us what he needs to say in order to win the election. There are tons of videos on YouTube of Mitt speaking in various campaigns, etc. You say he shares your values. Yes, today he does. However, what about tomorrow.

Facts are stubborn things. Mitt’s no Reagan conservative, and we all know it. He’s a republican John Kerry that would get eaten alive in November. Plain and simple.

If your vote is led around and manipulated by “endorsements” and “polls” then you, whoever you are, are the reason that Washington is broken. Because you lack the self confidence to make up your own mind and stand up to your convictions. You are too blind to see the facts and results of the acts of politicians in your life and in this country and in this world. You are a battered voter. And you are fodder to good old boys coalitions because politicians will always stand up for each other and their political agendas. An endorsement is nothing more than another person’s opinion and mostly they are politicians opinions. Politicians are hired and paid by the voter to do the will of the voters…not to tell the voters who to put in office.

Polls are the opinion of appx 500 to 900 complete strangers randomly picked to tell you who THEY are going to vote for. There is no mathematical reason that these people can pick a winner all of the time for hundreds of millions of voters. The results of these polls can be manipulated by the mere fact that different parts of the country consistently vote the same or even the time of day. At no time do the Polls tell you where they took these polls or what time of the day.

POLLS are exactly like HOROSCOPES. If you believe in them, they become self-fulfilling prophecies. If you have been staying home from voting because you read a poll that said your candidate had no chance in hell of winning…if you have changed your vote to another candidate because some poll you read said that the other candidate had a better chance of winning…then YOU, my friend, are the reason that that poll was correct. YOU and your actions guaranteed that poll would be corrrect.

Polls and endorsements can only be believed to guarantee an election result if the voters of this country continue to be led around like battered women with no minds of their own and no self confidence in their own ability to make a rational decision. You are voting for a president of a country that has great wealth and military and economic power. This is not a monopoly game. Only if you develop your own convictions and only if you act on those convictions will you truly know if you are in the majority or the minority. Are you really so afraid to find out?

The THIRD CANDIDATE in any primary…the third person in any November election splits the vote…period. If you are voting for the third person in an electorial race, you are sitting on a fence. At some time you had better jump off on one side or the other because you are only a spectator and the race is gonna pass you by. One of those two front runners is gonna win as they have been consistently winning. And in a primary if your candidate does not win…those delegates are up for garbs thrown into the wind to land where you might not want them to land. Remember Ross Perot. He split the Republican vote from the elder Bush and Clinton strolled into the White House.

This is a great country and men and women of this country have fought and died to wipe out oppression and tyranny and to ensure freedom in this world. Use your free agency to vote for YOUR convictions and YOUR beliefs. Only then will these brave people not have died in vain.

A vote for Huckabee is a vote for…HUCKABEE! Why should I give my vote to a candidate whom I cannot trust? My vote is too valuable to simply throw it away. Mike Huckabee is the only true social conservative left in this race. Romney mouths the words, but then only a couple of years ago he was uttering words quite different. Pushing through a Massachussetts health care plan that includes $50 abortions? Bragging that he would be more of a friend to the homosexual community that Ted Kennedy? These are the positions of a conservative? Mike Huckabee has been a life-long supporter of pro-life, pro-marriage positions. When it comes time to pull the lever, I vote for Mike Huckabee. And if on Nov 4 Mike’s name is not on the ballot-I’m writing it in. If you are a person who believes in pro-life, pro-marriage issues, then I hope you have the character and moral integrity to do the same.

Mike Huckabee:
1. Supports In-State tuition for illegals. While Governor quoted saying “if you’re looking for someone who’s tough on immigration, then I’m not that guy.”
24 hours before the South Carolina primary, he signed a no-amnesty pledge. Hmmm. Convenient time to change his position.

2.Huckabee granted 1,033 pardons and commutations. He wouldn’t even keep our own criminals locked up, yet he should be trusted to fight terrorism?

NO THANKS. I’d stay home in Nov. if he were the (VERY unlikely) nominee.

John McCain, A Threat To Our National Security
by Ivan

Most conservative republicans have been worried about John McCain’s stances on fiscal, social and economic issues and how he doesn’t relate to the conservative base on those points. Although these worries are legitimate and something conservative voters must consider serious, they must also realize that this isn’t all. John McCain has not only proven bad on many conservative fiscal, social and economic issues, but is proving to be a serious threat to our nation’s security.

Before you discount the points about to be made, please know and understand that each point will be based on fact and information that John McCain has been very vocal about. Everything said has to do with things that John McCain has said in open forums and can be substantiated on many accounts.

John McCain has touted his goodwill towards terrorist by criticizing any type of strong interrogation tactics. He has been loud in letting people know that he has heard the anti-American sentiment and feels it better to bring terrorist prisoners, awaiting questioning, onto American soil rather than have them in Cuba at Guantanamo Bay (Gitmo). He said- “I would immediately close Guantanamo Bay, move all the prisoners to Fort Leavenworth (an army base in Kansas) and truly expedite the judicial proceedings in their cases,”
Some of the interrogation tactics used at Gitmo have been dubbed as cruel and inhumane. His aggression towards those who believe such interrogation tactics are necessary is fueled by his own experiences while a POW in Vietnam. He mutters words of his horrible experiences and argues that no man should have to suffer as he did. His reasoning is much like his democrat comrade in that their ability to define torture and successful interrogation tactics is skewed. He might as well reason that war all together is wrong and the killing of terrorist is inhumane. Has killing ever been considered “humane”?
Logic tells me that when it comes to my life, my friends, my families and other American citizens lives we need to do anything and everything we can to keep our people safe! There is a difference between tearing people’s limbs off and using calculated interrogation tactics to get information. The bottom line is that we should always error on the side of preserving US citizen lives and stop worrying about how murderous terrorist are feeling in prison at Guantanamo Bay. Without successful interrogation of prison terrorists we risk the chance of another attack and losing American citizen lives.

The other danger of John McCain is his inability to understand that in order for terrorists to attack on our borders they have to first come through our borders. Again, touting his goodwill, McCain is now infamous amongst conservatives in the know for being the author of one of the most comprehensive amnesty bills that would allow illegal non-US citizens to obtain citizenship in almost a moments notice. The danger doesn’t lie within the amnesty, but in the message that it sends to people throughout the world. The flood gates would open and there would be an immediate influx of people on all sides and borders entering the United States.
Although McCain would now argue that he believes that securing the border is what needs to be done first, this point was never highlighted until he began running for presidency while depending on the vote of conservative republicans. When asked if he would now or later support his amnesty bill he is insistent on pointing out that he believes border security first, while altogether avoiding answering the original question of whether he would still support the bill.
If and when a terrorist attack occurs it wouldn’t be unwise to suggest that it will be in large part because of our weak border policies and our inability to curb a problem that has been past due for decades. John McCain stands in the way of stopping this problem and national security threat by holding strong to the McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill. Amnesty rhetoric only fuels the problem and increases the chance of such attacks happening on American soil.

As outrageous as this may sound, John McCain wants to join the international criminal court (ICC) so that foreigners can try our soldiers and people as war criminals. Not only does this sound like a conspiracy and something that would get out of hand, but it is something that would enable other countries part of the ICC to have power and control over US citizens leading to politically motivated charges. Our conservative values state that we need to reduce government and the control government has over our lives, as this will eventually lead to a socialist/communist style of government. This type of Clintonesque political speak is something that is encouraging to terrorists giving them hope and a sense of welcome into scrutinizing our western civilized ways. By joining ICC we are essentially dividing this nation rather than uniting it and creating a bureaucracy for terrorists to use as a platform.

Part of our ability to stay safe in this world has to do with our ability to establish allies and have good working relations with other countries. We need to have someone who is a diplomat and understands how to work with people from all walks of life, even when the situation gets tense and heated. The ability to act as a diplomat and win over leaders of other countries has in large part to do with our Presidents personality, temperament and interpersonal relations with leaders of other countries. This must be done through persuasion and trust. This can only be achieved through having a record showing honesty, integrity and temperance when dealing with other people. John McCain’s record in politics and in his interpersonal relations has been less than stellar. It is evident through numerous people’s accounts about his intemperate “red-faced” tirades, his involvement in scandal (Keating 5) and Clintonesque twisting and misguiding of other people’s words makes him a sure candidate of mistrust. Although he is willing to “Maverick” his way into the populist anti-American sentiment, he is quick to show his defensive nature when legitimate accusations are made against him. America needs a President who possesses Reaganesque qualities, someone who understands when to be strong and when to hold back. These and other qualities will keep America’s foreign relations strong and ultimately keep us safe and supported.

When it comes to McCain’s willingness to fight a battle it’s easy to see that McCain would react fast and harsh after the fact; but at that point it would be too late. His terrorist “goodwill”, liberal rhetoric, and socialist thinking will enable terrorist with more abilities to carry out an attack on American soil. Our national security is at risk with John McCain in the white house.

ROMNEY IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE

CHRISTIANS/EVANGELICALS DON’T VOTE FOR ROMNEY

“Mitt Romney pushed through same-sex marriage all by himself, in the absence of any authority or requirement to do so, having a complete misunderstanding of his role as governor and of the significance of the court’s opinion,” said Keyes.

“The court never ordered him to act, nor did he have the right to act, since the legislature never changed the law. Romney claimed he had no other choice, but that’s completely untrue.”

Romney said;

“I promised that if elected, I’d call a truce – a moratorium, if you will…I vowed to veto any legislation that sought to change the existing rules…I fully respect and will fully protect a woman’s right to choose.”
