For those of us at work, we have to rely on the internet for the information coming in.

This is dirty stuff. I am very disappointed that McCain’s camp would do this. I was about 50-50 Romney/McCain, and I do realize that this is politics, but it’s still very dirty in my opinion. If you can win it on your own merits, sabotage your competition. That’s just not the American Way – McCain, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

Huckabee is simply being used by McCain. Neither of them can beat Romney alone. A vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain. This makes me sick…..

I see nothing wrong with this. It simply shows that McCain supporters and Huckabee supporters have something in common – they don’t feel that Romney should be nominated. It is not a secret agenda or anything covert. It is just a strategic tactic to finish this thing today.

Romney won the first round vote with 41%, Huckabee 33%, McCain 16%, Paul 10%. Because no one received 51%, they had to recast the votes. Paul was elimiated from the second round. McCain and Huckabee cut a deal during lunch where McCain gave his votes to Hucakabee JUST to beat Romney.

I am very disgusted with McCain and his dirty politics. When this campaign started, I had high regard for him and was disappointed when President Bush beat him, but he has truly been dishonest and Governor Huckabee is a brown-noser and a poor loser. This is so sad for the Republican party. People should vote for the candidate they want to see win.

This equates to Mass Chain Migration. Guess who foots the bill for these illegals to kill many of our American citizens? Right! The American taxpayer will. According to authentic statistics, American tax-payers would pay over 21,000 dollars per family a year. Look at Huckabees’ record, he will not give up the “Dream Act”. Boy, is Romney desperate! I’m sorry, I can never trust the man. I will vote for Huckabee or McCain, but I will sit out this election if Romney is the nominee. I can not vote for him with a clear conscience. He attacks everything that breathes and is simply a sore loser. Did he congratulate Huckabee after Iowa? No. And now here in West Virginia? No class.

Can either of these men truly believe they could beat either Hillary or Barack in the General Election? I believe Huckabee agreed to a backroom deal with McCain to stop Romney in order to get on the McCain ticket.

Why is it that the media cannot get the fact that the people of West Virginia have not spoken. Our Primary Election for both Democrats and REPUBLICANS is May 13, 2008. the WV Republican Party leadership invited 1200 people to the convention, and left the other 300,000+ republicans out of the decision. Why did I spend almost 22 years in the military to defend the rights of Americans when the Republican Party in West Virginia can take them away? Just report that it was not the real voice of the people in West Virginia, because we have not had our chance to vote. Lets see your coverage of our primary in May.

As a person who is made fun of for her addiction to Fox News, I am becoming increasingly upset by what i see as a basic snub of this incredible man and his accomplishments in this race. Many of you have truly put down the minds of those of us who support him. We did not vote for him today because we did not know better than to waste a vote. My vote for him was for him and not against the other two. Had I not voted for him, I would not have voted for either of them. I was thrilled to see him win in this state. I have considered switching to another channel to see if they are being more fair towards him. That seems so extreme i decided to write this instead and now i feel a little bit better.

McCain Endorses Huckabee!

According to reports from Fox News Channel, McCain delegates admitted they were instructed to throw their support to Huckabee when it became apparent that the voters put McCain a distant 3rd! Is this the beginning of McCain’s exit from the pursuit of the Republican Presidential Nomination?

This action by John McCain in West Virginia is part of the reason I will not support him if he is the Republican nomination. I would rather vote outside the Republican Party than support John McCain who shows how poor his morals are in this election season. Mike Huckabee is right there with McCain and by staying in the race and spoiling Mitt Romney’s chances shows that Huckabee cares more for destroying Romney’s chances than standing up for true conservative values. Huckabee would rather have McCain win than let Romney, and that shows Huckabee is not a true conservative, but a Romney hater. So long Republican Party if this is the course you are taking.

You can bet McCain promised Huckabee something. That’s the way McCain seems to work. I went from supporting McCain to backing Romney; character should count for something. Perhaps a fine line between character and old fashioned politics that McCain seems to play to his advantage. No change there.

Come on, Carl. That little last minute trade off of WV delegates to rob Romeny of what he clearly won (ala winning the WV popular vote!) IS Some of the dirtiest politics we’ve seen in a long time, on either side of the aisle. I CANNOT SUPPORT either McCain or Huckster after this, so I’ll switch my vote to another party, if only in protest. Neither is a conservative. I don’t think that Huckabees showing tonite is as surprising as some folks think. Romney’s faith was never an asset to him in the south,maybe Mitt thought he settled the issue with his State of His Religion speech,but I don’t think it ever really went away down south in Dixie! And,being a son of the South,Huck knew what those folks would do in the sanctity of the voting booth. No way given any choice involving a Baptist and a Mormon would they pull the switch the other guy.

It baffles me that so many men who hold themselves to be major figure heads in the conservative republican world can so easily present their opinons as facts, and make allegations against the candidates that they haven’t been bought out by, while ignoring the fact that Huckabee did not only win in W Va today. I also think that its ironic that the romney supporters would criticize Huckabee for gaining the votes of what they call “sheep”. The fiscal conservatives have always loved having the support of sheep, until the sheep realize that Bush, Romney and all the others of the past only wanted the sheep to serve them with votes, and now it seems that the sheep are tired of being duped, and are looking for someone who walks the talk that their talking. Away with the republican party if they neglect the morally conservative aspect of their part platform. For that matter, away with Rush, Hannity, and Coulter too if they abandon the moral values of the republican agenda and vote for Hillary or Obama.

The pundits keep asking why Mike doesn’t attack McCain. They can’t understand it, and so they keep projecting their OWN motives onto Mike, that he’s doing it to “suck up” and get the VP nod from McCain. What they don’t understand are two things:

(1) Mike doesn’t want to bash anybody, even when they have stooped low on both tactics and slurs. He prefers to win with honor, and let the candidates’ records and stated positions on the issues speak for them.

(2) Mike knows that he doesn’t have to “attack” John McCain. Once it truly IS down to a 2-man race between Mike Huckabee and John McCain, McCain’s liberal record will do the speaking and the damage for him. At that time, Americans will see Huckabee, rightfully, as the ONLY conservative choice. (Unless you count Ron Paul, who is in favor of DE-criminalizing marijuana. There, you Ron Paul fans, I mentioned his name. Feel better?)

As Dr. James Dobson said today (Tues.) McCain often sounds / acts like someone “from the other party.” Once the media is forced to add some coverage for Mike, and Americans (hopefully) start paying a bit more attention and watching the debates, they will begin to see more clearly the differences between them on very important issues, like immigration and amnesty, depth of convictions on abortion, gay marriage, and most importantly what kind of SUPREME COURT JUSTICES they will appoint.

That was genius on McCain’s part – absolute genius. Not underhanded – intelligent – I like either McCain or Huckabee – they win on intelligence not on money like Romney!

I thought it was brilliant – why not help a friend if you see the possibility? Especially if it helps you out in the long run – has anyone noticed Huckabee’s Wife’s maiden name is “McCain?”

A Double Steal, not once, but TWICE

The first was when Senator McCain stole votes from delegates beholding to him so he could engage in Washington Insider Tactics where after more than 20 years he has a PHD in political slight of tongue deceptions.

The second was when he caused Governor Huckabee to BREAK the commandment to not steal nor accept something that they both covet.

And the third Steal by Senator McClain is not working for his present employer, but trying to obtain employment by others without being presence for critical votes in the Senate. Has he instructed the Senate to deduct his salary while engaging in many job interviews. And as this is the fourth steal it includes unethical actions by the former Governor Huckabee by being a party to an ethical violation against the American taxpayer. Both wheeling and dealing politicians are destroying the Republican Party with their animal tactics of donkeys.

It is time for the GOP bodies in Arizona, Arkansas(also God abiding Southern Baptist Convention to take positive action as well) and Nationally to get these wanabes into ethical and moral compliance or boot them out of the US Senate, the Baptist Ministry, and the Republican Party. Otherwise restitution and repentance is in order for this is not Presidential in any shape or form. It is very much unlawful. And so far from being conservative as it is akin to the actions of hogs generating manure as they eat another’s food. They both require retraining but not in the government service or pay of the USA.

John McCain, A Threat To Our National Security

Most conservative republicans have been worried about John McCain’s stances on fiscal, social and economic issues and how he doesn’t relate to the conservative base on those points. Although these worries are legitimate and something conservative voters must consider serious, they must also realize that this isn’t all. John McCain has not only proven bad on many conservative fiscal, social and economic issues, but is proving to be a serious threat to our nation’s security.

John McCain has touted his goodwill towards terrorist by criticizing any type of strong interrogation tactics. He has been loud in letting people know that he has heard the anti-American sentiment and feels it better to bring terrorist prisoners, awaiting questioning, onto American soil rather than have them in Cuba at Guantanamo Bay (Gitmo). He said- “I would immediately close Guantanamo Bay, move all the prisoners to Fort Leavenworth (an army base in Kansas) and truly expedite the judicial proceedings in their cases,”
Some of the interrogation tactics used at Gitmo have been dubbed as cruel and inhumane. His aggression towards those who believe such interrogation tactics are necessary is fueled by his own experiences while a POW in Vietnam. He mutters words of his horrible experiences and argues that no man should have to suffer as he did. His reasoning is much like his democrat comrades in that their ability to define torture and successful interrogation tactics is skewed. He might as well reason that war all together is wrong and the killing of terrorist is inhumane. Has killing ever been considered “humane”?
Logic tells me that when it comes to my life, my friends, my families and other American citizens lives we need to do anything and everything we can to keep our people safe! There is a difference between tearing people’s limbs off and using calculated interrogation tactics to get information. The bottom line is that we should always error on the side of preserving US citizen lives and stop worrying about how murderous terrorist are feeling in prison at Guantanamo Bay. Without successful interrogation of terrorists in prison we risk the chance of another attack and losing American citizen lives.

The other danger of John McCain is his inability to understand that in order for terrorists to attack on our borders they have to first come through our borders. Again, touting his goodwill, McCain is now infamous amongst conservatives in the know for being the author of one of the most comprehensive amnesty bills that would allow illegal non-US citizens to obtain citizenship in almost a moments notice. The danger doesn’t lie within the amnesty, but in the message that it sends to people throughout the world. The flood gates would open and there would be an immediate influx of people on all sides and borders entering the United States.
Although McCain would now argue that he believes that securing the border is what needs to be done first, this point was never highlighted until he began running for presidency while depending on the vote of conservative republicans. When asked if he would now or later support his amnesty bill he is insistent on pointing out that he believes border security first, while altogether avoiding answering the original question of whether he would still support the bill.
If and when a terrorist attack occurs it wouldn’t be unwise to suggest that it will be in large part because of our weak border policies and our inability to curb a problem that has been past due for decades. John McCain stands in the way of stopping this problem and national security threat by holding strong to the McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill. Amnesty rhetoric only fuels the problem and increases the chance of such attacks happening on American soil.

As outrageous as this may sound, John McCain wants to join the international criminal court (ICC) so that foreigners can try our soldiers and people as war criminals. Not only does this sound like a conspiracy and something that would get out of hand, but it is something that would enable other countries part of the ICC to have power and control over US citizens leading to politically motivated charges. Our conservative values state that we need to reduce government and the control government has over our lives, as this will eventually lead to a socialist/communist style of government. This type of Clintonesque political speak is something that is encouraging to terrorists giving them hope and a sense of welcome into scrutinizing our western civilized ways. By joining ICC we are essentially dividing this nation rather than uniting it and creating a bureaucracy for terrorists to use as a platform.

Part of our ability to stay safe in this world has to do with our ability to establish allies and have good working relations with other countries. We need to have someone who is a diplomat and understands how to work with people from all walks of life, even when the situation gets tense and heated. The ability to act as a diplomat and win over leaders of other countries has in large part to do with our Presidents personality, temperament and interpersonal relations with leaders of other countries. This must be done through persuasion and trust. This can only be achieved through having a record showing honesty, integrity and temperance when dealing with other people. John McCain’s record in politics and in his interpersonal relations has been less than stellar. It is evident through numerous people’s accounts about his intemperate “red-faced” tirades, his involvement in scandal (Keating 5) and Clintonesque twisting and misguiding of other people’s words makes him a sure candidate of mistrust. Although he is willing to “Maverick” his way into the populist anti-American sentiment, he is quick to show his defensive nature when legitimate accusations are made against him. America needs a President who possesses Reaganesque qualities, someone who understands when to be strong and when to hold back. These and other qualities will keep America’s foreign relations strong and ultimately keep us safe and supported.

When it comes to McCain’s willingness to fight a battle it’s easy to see that McCain would react fast and harsh after the fact; but at that point it would be too late. His terrorist “goodwill”, liberal rhetoric, and socialist thinking will enable terrorist with more abilities to carry out an attack on American soil. Our national security is at risk with John McCain in the white house.

It wasn’t just McCain supporters– the Huckabee campaign lied to the Paul supporters by telling them they would give them 3 delegates if they supported Huckabee. Now they’ve totally gone back on their word. What a joke.

Everyone needs to take a deep breath over what happened during the WV GOP convention. There was nothing dirty or underhanded about what happened there. Think for a minute about your favorite basketball team in the playoffs. There are four of you left. You are hoping the other semifinal teams match up better for you and that the lower sead beats the higher sead so your teams chances of moving on are better. Nothing more, nothing less. McCain supporters voted for him in the first round having no idea he would not be the winner. Once it became evident he would not take WV it only made sense to vote for someone else in the second round. All delegates were free to chose who they wanted next. It doesn’t take a former governor or the Senator himself to tell me/us who we should have voted for next. The object was to make McCain the Republican nominee not Romney. Romney is a very good man, just not my choice. Romney supporters had the same option to talk to McCain and or Paul supporters as well. Have a nice day.
