America is at a cross roads and the stakes are high, maybe even our lives.

The Democrats don’t seem to even acknowledge that we are at war with a brutal thoat slashing, burn people alive enemy that wants to destroy us. They’d pull our troops away from fighting in foreign countries with the inevitable result of the fight moving to our own homeland.

Like it or not John McCain is the person the GOP has to work with this season. Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul are only delaying the inevitable and demonstrating their lack of party loyalty, and complete lack of statesmanship. If they’d do the right thing and pull out immediately the GOP could gear up early for the political fight of our lives.

Maybe McCain really is the best choice for our times after all.

At least he has proven his mettle during times of war…

Yea, screwed all of us didn’t he. I’d rather see a Democrat Party Liberal in the White House than a Republican Liberal there. . …

GOVERNOR ROMNEY IS A STATESMAN WITH MUCH TO OFFER OUR NATION. If Sen. McCain is wise, he will select Gov. Romney as his running mate.

We are committed supporters of Governor Romney and look forward to campaigning for him in 2012. In the meantime, if Sen. McCain wants to win in November, and of course he does, Governor Romney would strengthen and energize his ticket.

Ahem …. Obviously Romney’s delegates are both as stupid and as shallow as their former-candidate. I guess that’s no real surprise but you would think that they would be absolutely livid with his hypocrisy and would vote for Huckabee just out of spite. I mean Romney basically stabbed his supporters in the back and made them look stupid and now he wants to be able to tell them how they should think? Here’s a novel idea… Ask the people who actually voted for Romney in each state who their 2nd choice is and then MAKE the delegates vote accordingly. We don’t need a bunch of “insiders” making our choices for us like the Democrats like to do.

I think Mitt threw in the towel way too soon. All that did was fuel Huckabee who should of pulled out first. At least Mitt was man enough to help the GOP, what is Huckabee waiting for? Huckabee would be a weak President. He may be a nice guy, so was Jimmy Carter and look what happened in Iran when he was President. We will get the same greeting from our enemies as soon as either Obama or Hillary get because they are not putting terrorism in the front burner.

Just like Reagan, he endorses the front runner and bides his time until 2012.

McCain is a sinking ship and Mitt knows it. When the American people see 4 years of Clinton or Obama, they will realize their mistake..then Mitt will have a clean sweep in 2012. It takes a Carter, to get another Reagan.
Watch out people, we’re in for a bumpy 4 years. Pay off your debts quick and hold onto your hats.

Well…. I find it quite ironic that our country would look at Pakistan’s elections in some contrived concern that those elections be “democratic” when in our own nation the media has foisted one party’s (establishment) candidate onto us and the second pary is considering foisting one (via superdelegates) onto theirs. This country knows nothing of democracy and has no right to scrutinize another country’s.

Romney sells his soul to the GOP store. So much for insisting that he was a conservative.

Do you have any coverage of the OTHER candidate? Polls show that, despite a near-total media blackout, one in four voters in America likes MIKE HUCKABEE! Do we get to hear about him or his views? What happened to “fair and balanced” and “We report, YOU decide”?

Comment by Petition for Huckabee

A Republican debate was scheduled to take place on February 28th, 2008. It was to be sponsored by the Ohio Republican Party. This debate has since been mysteriously cancelled. A rush to judgment has ensued following the Super Tuesday elections on February 5th in which more than 21 states held primaries or caucuses. Sen. John McCain gained an enormous advantage and squeezed out Gov. Mitt Romney. Gov. Mike Huckabee was left standing as the Party’s only other viable candidate.

We believe:
1) Sen. McCain should earn the respect of the Republican base by debating Mike Huckabee in one or more formal Lincoln-Douglas style debates.
2) that failure to publicly engage Gov. Huckabee in debate before March 4th should be considered a gross attempt to grab the nomination without properly demonstrating a viable candidacy.

Thus, we hereby petition Sen. McCain to accept an invitation to debate Mike Huckabee with all due haste and prove or disprove his worthiness.

Who else is he going to support? No one thinks Huckabee will win. Mitt wants to set himself up as vice-president, looking ahead to 2012. In addition, Huckabee is an admitted Christian. A Christian and a Morman in the White House, together? I think not.

I just wanted to say that I have been researching Obama and what he stands for. How can we be so angry with the Republican Party to allow Obama to become the next president? Just the health care issue alone is frightening enough to vote AGAINST the democratic ticket. Nothing that is “given” to us by the government is really “free” or what is “best” for us. I hope that the younger people that are flocking to Obama will do their homework and find out what happens when liberal inexperienced Senators promise government will take care of them. It spells disaster. And I would like to see Fox News stop making us listen to Obama’s long speeches full of fluff. I love Fox News and generally think you are fair and balanced….but Obama seems to be a star and getting way more free advertising than any other person running for president.

The religon factor that so many of you are throwing into this is just rediculous. “Mormon and Christian together” come on people. Who cares what religon they are? That shouldnt even be a factor and if its the only reason you would vote for Huckabee then shame on you.

Sorry Mitt. Cant and wont support McCain. Huckabee doesnt have a chance so not supporting him either.

McCain can win only with Romney

I will vote for McCain because, there is no chose when it comes to Obama or Hillary. If the Dems get it, the American People will be crying and begging for a George BUsh after 4 miserable years with one of the Dems. The reason that McCain is the nominee for the Republican Party, is because the Dems. crossed over to vote him in, just like Russ was trying to get the Republicans to do in Texas. If the Dems get it, 911 will be minor to what we will probably have with one of the Dems. With Bush, we have not been hit again! President Bush has been treated with much disrespect. In all the years that I have voted, whether Republican or Democrat, I have NEVER heard so much HATE for Bush. That is a very strong word and do you think that the Clintons started all that years ago, so people would be sick of BUSH and she thought she would be a shoe in. She got slipped up on and did not dream that a Young Black Man could come in and beat her out. That has not fit into her plan. The young people only want a rock star, not a President. Lots of young people do not even know the President and V-Presidents names, much less what they stand for. Of course, Hill and Obama want the young votes, because they have got all of them fooled. They talk give me, give me, give me. Get Real free insurance for all. Watch your paychecks dwindle! Again I say, it will be another Carter 4 years for Obama or Hill!
