McCain and Huckabee both win!?

The March 4th primaries could put McCain over the top for the GOP nomination and Huckabee officially in second place for the 2008 GOP race.

These are HISTORIC achievements that to many seemed unimaginable last year. This VLOG and the FNC political unit however never once wrote off McCain last year when others did.

And while Huckabee went virtually unnoticed until last years Ames strawpoll, we identified him in January of 2007 as the darkhorse most likely to surprise.

Now McCain has 1014 delegates. He needs 177 to reach the needed 1191.

Huckabee has won 257 delegates. He needs 24 to best Mitt Romney who won 280.

McCain is expected to take VT and RI outright but neither Texas nor Ohio are winner take all – they are awarded proportionally by state senate and congressional district respectively. If Huckabee wins any combination of 8 Texas state senate or Ohio congressional districts he will win 24 delegates and thus go ahead of Romney. Undisputed 2nd place.

Huckabee will make no definitive statements Tuesday night about the future of his campaign. But look for news on Thursday when he returns to Little Rock. For weeks the Huckabee campaign has been doing an unofficial victory lap. The governor and his staff are delighted by his success and acknowledged status as a conservative leader who will now be well positioned to run again in the future.

Camp Huck is steering people away from veep speculation. The governor doesn’t expect an offer and insiders say if it came he should reject it. They think Huckabee’s future prospects are stronger making his own way rather than playing #2 to McCain.

McCain must first co-opt the RNC, and its a long complex process to take over the sprawling Bush admin national party apparatus. They are for now merely studying how past VP’s have been chosen and discussing how to come up with their own process.

Republicans all over the country are emailing and calling the campaign with their runningmate advice. While Huckabee would have us believe he is disinterested for now, that has never been the case for Mitt Romney.

Though Romney and McCain fought tooth and nail and grew legitimately angry with one another for exaggerated charges and counter charges throughout their year long battle, alot of republican grey beards think they make a good team on paper…..

Texas and Ohio this is your chance to be the catalysts for the greatest political comeback in this millennium. You can turn the ship of the conservative party around and vote for Mike Huckabee in 2008!
North Carolina is anxiously awaiting our chance to give the victory to Huckabee…but America needs Texas and Ohio to take a stand for conservatives and America and vote to give Mike Huckabee the victory in TX and OH on Super Tuesday II today.
In 1976 Ronald Reagan campaigned up to the convention and even though Ford beat him that year, Reagan gave a great speech and became the Republican nominee in 1980 to beat Carter and become President.
If Huckabee can stop McCain in TX and OH then he can stop McCain from getting 1191 delegates and beat him at a brokered convention!
But if not, Huckabee will give a great speech at the convention and could win in 2012!
Regardless of your political stripes, you have got to love the humor, wit and tenacity of Mike Huckabee in this David Vs Goliath battle which he has waged with very little money.
For me, the moral issue trump any fiscal issues…pro-life, pro-heterosexual marriage, pro-child, pro-creationism and pro-America, Mike Huckabee is my hero!

McCain and Romney on one ticket? Holy cow, I thought I had enough reason to vote against McCain already. I absolutely can’t stand Mitt Romney’s style of politics and it meant that I would have to vote for Joseph Stalin to defeat a McCain-Romney ticket, I’d proudly vote for Stalin!

It looks like we’ll have to rebuild the Republican Party from scratch starting in 2009 and maybe we can nominate a decent candidate like Governor Huckabee or Senator Thune by 2012.

Huckabee continues to run after the rest of the field drops out and finishes second-whoopdedoo!Big achievement there Huck!Huckabee got his votes from disgruntled conservatives protesting the inevitable McCain nomination, and evangelicals who flocked to one of their own.Huckabee will never become a leader in the conservative community because of his ethically challenged past, his big government populist economic record in Arkansas, and his flip-flopping on immigration reform. Many conservatives believe Huckabee’s continued stay in the race was designed to stop Mitt Romney-not John McCain!

Comment by Lloyd Hansen

I don’t like the idea of McCain and Romney. I also didn’t like McCain much coming into the primaries but he has won me over. Romney would somehow seal McCain’s ties to most conservatives (although Romney wasn’t accepted as a conservative until earlier this year). What a crazy year.

Huck will always have my vote, this election and the next. In many ways he reminds me of Raegan with his affable manner and strong leadership. Even the story of his campaign I think will eventually be the same. Raegan lost twice before finnally wining the nomination in ‘80. If Huck has an opportunity in ‘12 and/or ‘16 I think he will be our president.

You da man Huck.

I like McCain and support him, however the vice president that he picks will be a deciding factor in my continued support. I am also a fan of Mike Huckabee and I think he would be a smart, yet strategic pick for VP. Mike has an appeal to every voter and he is a valid conservative. He would compliment the ticket, not take away from it.
One the other hand, if McCain chooses Romney, who I personally cannot stand, I will personally reconsider my vote for McCain. I will feel he is selling out to the ultra conservatives and big business just to get elected.

Just my personal opinion,
Donna

It will be funny if mccain will wrap up things tonight . It will be even better if huckabee does not best romney tonight either in the delegate count! After all romney has been out of the race for 3 weeks now.

My guess is, you know something. What I mean is you have ignored Huckabee and only carried news about him when it was amusing or funny. Now you say some “nice things” and make it look like you have been on his side. Did you see the early results and decided to say some nice things so you don’t look so bad. How very transparent of you. Do some real reporting, like contrast Mike Huckabee’s speeaches to Barrack Obama’s – parts sound ALL too familliar. I think Barrack is taking a page out of Huck’s playbook.

Oh, please no!
Let’s not have Huckabee spoil the 2012 elections like he did this year. He campaigned hard against Mitt, almost no one else.
Mitt Romney is BY FAR a better choice for America than the divisive Huckabee.
I see no “acknowledged Conservative Leader” in Huckabee, and neither did CPAC, thank GOD!
After tonight, “Our miracle” will be Huckabee going back to Arkansas to sell his book at the swapmeets……

I believe McCain should ask either Condeleeza Rice or Colon Powel to be his running mate. I would prefer Mike Huckabee to be the nominee, but that does not look like that will happen. However, I do believe who ever wins the Whithouse will be a one term President.

Why can’t you media get the same delegate counts? Every media has a different number. Why can’t you people understand that only pledged delegates count?

http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P08/R-PU.phtml

McCain only has 874 PLEDGED delegates. He can’t clinch the nomination even if he took all the delegates in today’s primaries.

If you really think about this whole election process and the way it has been conducted by the liberal media, the Republican insiders, and by the greedy “conservative” talk show personalities who were for the all mighty dollar rather than what would be best for our Country (Clear Channel/Bain Capital/Romney) It reeks to high heaven. I will never pinch my nose and vote for anyone. I hope the “conservative” talk shows lose the power they have over the people. They have abused it deplorably. I am for freedom of speech, but not when it is used in an election to manipulate their listeners to vote for a candidate that lines their pockets. They are out of touch with reality and they are out of touch with the audience that once elevated them and gave them the status they have been enjoying for years. Last but not least, no matter the outcome of the election today, we will continue this battle into the future. Some of us are awake now! We need to wake up our sleeping friends and relatives. We are in very trying times and it won’t be getting any easier. We will get stronger and more motivated as we take back our Country! It’s not bitterness, its determination, it’s not anger, its righteous indignation, and it’s not passivism, its activism. Let’s not ever forget what we have learned these past few months. Let it motivate you. It has been a valuable lesson. Mike Huckabee’s supporters need to remember Mike will still need our financial support, all the way to the convention. . He does not have a Senators paycheck. The money ticker has nearly stopped in the past 24 hours. Please donate what you can, it does add up. Thanks, and God Bless!

Cameron you’re such an idiot. c’mon man, call it like it is! don’t be like the rest of FoxNews.

Looks like FoxNews needs to update their delegate count so it’s accurate. according to you Cameron, Romney has a few more delegates than Huckabee still. I would have thought this biasedness against Romney would stop no that he has dropped out of the race, but it seems the media is bent on bringing him down.

Huckabee is just running to get second place so he can run again for the white house if he wants.

The Republican Party needs to be broken, cleansed, then reformed so we can return to the Reagan Coalition that was once so great.

The R. party will its butt kicked when McCain runs against Obama this year. It’s just like when Reagan lost to Ford in the republican primaries and then Ford lost to Carter.

I disagree with Camerons corner. As normal most pundits only have the ability to see short range. For McCane to win the nomination would all but hand the natonal election over to the Dems. The Republican party is split not because of Gov. Huckabee or any other candidate but simply because todays GOP does not dance to the tunes being played by the OLD GOP.
The party clamors for positive change and not another OLD GOP player that is only going to obtain votes in the general by voters opting out for the lesser of two evils.

Nobody wins in this election except the Democrats —– no secure borders, no income tax reform, no second amendment fortifying, no marrage amendment / no right to life.

Huckabee’s platform was effectively withheld from the general population via the media pundits and the OLD GOP. We certanly will continue this downward spiral until we can be sucessful in removing the OLD Guard from the GOP. IF while reading this comment one wonders if they represent the OLD Guard — no doubt you do if you have to ask the question — please retire before you finish ruining what remains of our country.

Huckabee says he’s staying in the race to help the Republican Party stay true to its core values.

“I do think that many people need to be looking at the future of our party. If we’re not reaching out to younger voters, if we’re not capturing the issues that people care about … then we’re going to be an extinct party in another few years,” Huckabee said on CNN’s “American Morning.”

I am voting Huckabee!

Comment by Cathy Alabama

It’s so unfortunate we didn’t get to hear Huckabee debate McCain (Lincoln Douglas style) before the March 4th primaries. I wonder why McCain would not make it a high priority to debate Huckabee? I recall reading that McCain said his schedule was too packed. That’s very unpresidential for him to dodge a debate that would inform the American people without the media and republican bias. Competition is healthy and makes one better. So sad McCain doesn’t want to engage in a debate with Huckabee.

Comment by rhemerick

I just wanted to make something known that many have been leaving out in the media. John McCain will not clench the nomination tonight. According to GOP party rules, he MUST have 1191 PLEDGED delegates. The problem is that many of the news organizations, including this one, have listed unpledged delegates as being included in the total for John McCain. In fact, McCain sent out an email to a lot of people that claimed that he only needs 101 more delegates to win the nomination. THAT IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE! And he knows it. While it still looks as if he will be the nominee come convention, he is not now the CONFIRMED nominee with 1191 PLEDGED delegates. And also, if he doesn’t clinch the nomination on the first ballot at convention, many of the delegates that were pledged to him become free to vote for whomever they choose. And if true conservative delegates vote for the only conservative candidate left, we might actually be able to save this Grand Old Party. John McCain will be trampled by either Obama or Clinton if he is the nominee. If you take the time to watch any of his speaches of late you will see that his age has a definite effect on his ability to rationally put thoughts together and he seems to be stumbling around a lot as if he has lost his footing now that he is over 70. He is washed up and will NOT WIN THE PRESIDENCY. Please report accurately that he will not clinch the nomination come tonight even with a sweep of all 4 states. He MUST have 1191 PLEDGED (confirmed) delegates or the race is still on!!!

Comment by Cathy Alabama

I was so hoping McCain would debate Huckabee (Lincoln Douglas style) before the March 4th primaries. I am very dissapointed in McCain denying the American people the opportunity to form their own conclusions about who is the best Republican nominee without the media and Republican bias.

A McCain/Romney ticket would be a mistake.

For all the accolades from conservatives that followed after Romney pulled out of the race, the truth is they never bought what he was selling (and spent millions and millions trying to sell it too). The fact is that conservatives have as many reservations about Romney that they have with McCain. So given that, Romney would not be a good pick.

McCain needs to pick a (substantially) younger VP nominee with strong conservative credentials. In a perfect world that person would be of color and or a woman. Hmmm. Condi Rice comes to mind.

Comment by John Rich

Yes, McCain and Romney make a great team “on paper.” Here in the real world, Romney, a flip-flopping, balance-sheet-Wall Street caricature of a conservative, will hurt the ticket. He’s just too plastic a candidate.

As for Mike Huckabee, if you don’t love this guy you’ve got a stone where your heart should be. But, as for the veepstakes, that is unclear as to whether the Huck would help, or hurt the ticket. As for (eventually) garnering more votes than Romney, who dropped out, that means little — except in the pride department.

If, God forbid, McCain loses the general, then Huck might be well-poised for 2012 (and ain’t that a scary-looking number for those of us who first voted in 1964…)

What world does Mike Huckabee live in?

Comment by Alienated ExFox Viewer

Per usual, Fox persists in distorting the accurate delegate count, artificially INFLATING McCain’s pledged delgates…he does NOT have the 1044 Fox has been deliberately misrepresenting.
FORMER loyal Fox viewers are so outraged by the inexcusable, reprehensible, disproportionate, factually inaccurate, deliberately contrived “slant” Fox has engaged in from the get-go, alienating views more than the GOP has disenfranchised the majority of it’s FORMER main street base.

Fox has done a terrible disservice not only to viewers, but to all voters across the country, particularly in states yet to hold their primaries. From the outset, the MEDIA fabricated the artificial “Top Tier” candidate’s “worthy” of coverage, dismissively disregarding all other candidates; then, advocating for Fox favored Mitt Romney, founder of Bain Capital which owns Clear Channel,
to which Fox provides programming & not incidently, some Fox hosts are under contract with Clear Channel for their talk radio shows (like Hannity), in your OVERT attempt to marginalize other candidates…worse, unbridled bias Fox has long accused the old media of engaging in, correctly,
hypocritically perpetrating worse “electioneering” in a flagrant attempt to influence, suppress voters choice & support by insultingly trivializing the viability of a candidate, deriding his support as ONLY regional, exclusively “Evangelicals” which is simply not accurate or true…prefacing EVERY mere mention with the UNSUBTLE CODED message “The Baptist Preacher…” to dissuade and discourage any NON Evangelical or non baptist from bothering to explore his positions on crucial issues beyond the myopic pigeonhole Fox News has UNFAIRLY restricted the woefully INSUFFICIENT, INADEQUATE & disgraceful mention Fox has disparagingly ridiculed the candidate & all his supporters with.

As an Independent, middle aged, FEMALE – NONE of the candidate’s in either party deserve the media coverage lavished on them ad nauseum let alone have the necessary character, integrity, abilities, qualifications demonstrated accomplishments ans Executive Leaders – not mere paper pushing legislaters in DC who ARE A PART of THE PROBELM & have done NOTHING to correct the problems THEY have created…Mike Huckabee is the ONLY non Washington candidate with ANY Executive experience governing, managing and balancing a budget and leaving a surplus from the deficit (& mess) the Clinton’s left behind…while improving the quality of life for all state citizen’s, taking Education from 48th to 8th, improving infrastructure from the worst highways to among the best in the nation, streamlining bureaucracies for greater efficiency, and actually LOWERing property taxes, increasing health insurance coverage for kids…the long list of remarkable accomplishments in a predominately liberal, democratic state that YOU have IGNORED, failed to report and deprived the public of discovering & assessing is a shameful disgrace & egregious disservice to all voters.
He actually is not only the best candidate, he is the ONLY candidate who has accomplished the changes he espouses – and this nation needs to protect our sovereignty and economic renewal.

Karl Rove told Chris Wallace last Sunday that the popular vote should decide not the delegates..
to which Chris Wallace responded, “You mean we [the media] don’t get to decide?”
Clearly that is precisely what Fox & the GOP have been manipulating from the beginning -
effectively telling voters in the NINE states yet to hold their primaries “Your votes don’t matter. WE decided who the nominee is.”

Begs the question: Since the media, GOP & McCain arrogantly ASSume he has been ANNOINTED as the AUTOMATIC nominee – WHY WASTE OUR TAX DOLLARS holding the 9 remaining expensive primaries??????????

McCain does NOT have 1017 PLEDGED delegates nor the 1191 required for the nomination…O’Reilly responded to Dhuepoint’s viewer complaint about the UNFAIR, UNBALANCED, INACCURATE mistreatment of Huckabee dismissively stating: “He can’t win.” Bill OReilly decided. End of story.

Fox has IGNORED viewer requests and complaints throughout this debacle. This election is NO DIFFERENT than Russia’s… millions of alientated viewers have stopped watching and switched to CNN which at least has been less bias … and we are filing complaints with all the advertisers on Fox from AIG, AMex to Toyota etc, infomring them we will not buy their products advertisied on Fox.
Chew on THAT.

Come on Fox. Mike Huckabee is running! He does deserve as much air time as the others. People should ask themselves if Fox News should even be considered a News service. If so, then why do they refuse to deliver full unobstructed daily coverage of all candidates…yes, even Ron Paul. We are on to you guys behind the scenes at Fox…..

A win for Huck to come in second? Really? A month and approximately 13 primaries later? I just don’t see it. I guess when you don’t have a real job and other people don’t mind bankrolling your megalomania, it’s okay to stay out there. It’s also maybe just a little pathetic.

I would love to see Mike as VP if he doesn’t win the nomination in a brokered convention. It would firm up the GOP base. But I’m not a political strategist and I can’t say what would benefit him (or us) in the longer run.
I’m really not for Mitt as VP due to his connection with Bain. But I suppose we could do worse. I like Mitt, but he’s a bit too big business for my modest midwest tastes.

McCain has only 874 PLEDGED delegates. He CANNOT clinch the nomination today. The rest of his delegates are UNPLEDGED which means they are not officially his until they vote for him at the convention. And if this goes to convention, then they are actually free to vote for anyone they want to.

Huckabee really believes that he legitimately would take 2nd place at this point?

OK, the guy outperformed what was expected of him. No doubt. But, to say that he’s beaten Romney when Romney DROPPED OUT a month ago is ludicrous!

I find this whole Huckabee phenomenon to originally be mildly interesting, but now he’s just an irritating bug on the windshield of presidential politics.

Comment by Lori

I had hoped for a possible brokered convention with Gov. Huckabee picking up enough of Romney’s released delegates and others along the way. Consider this…. If Gov. Huckabee had Romney’s and Paul’s delegates along with the delegates he has and to pick up in TX, OH, VT and RD, he would split the delegate vote with I think….correct me if I’m wrong…..641 delegates and the nomanation go to a brokered convention. Mike Huckabee has the experience to be The President or any other position in the White House Administration.
Just a Texas voter learning my civic duties.

The news media has chosen our candidates for us.

Mike Huckabee is by far the superior presidential candidate. He has forseen the problems and the solutions, yet the media refused to allow him air time throughout the campaign.

I forsee and predict that their choice for president, Barack Obama will turn on the media and they will reep what they have sown.

But we will all pay the price in the end.

Enough said,

What a bunch of crap about Huckabee winning too!

The only reason Huckabee stayed in the race is so he could BOAST (claim) that he should be McCain’s VP selection because he got more delegates than Romney!

Let’s be honest here Carl!

Huckabee as a VP with McCain would be disaster!

If McCain is a smart man ( and I believe he is) he would be wise to pick Romney as his VP selection! Hopefully Mitt Romney would accept it and then the GOP could get on with the healing process!

Wondered why Huckabee’s dollar amount per delegate was not shown on tonights newcast. It is news because of the low amount of money spent, and the # of delegates he was able to win. News-does money buy delegates? If you count the # of votes Mit had vs. the # of votes Huckabee had, it is an outrageous disparity. Fox-I’m requesting a blog space for your news casts. Thanks.

The only votes Huckabee would ever get is from the zealot religious crusade he started.
When he gave his Texas consession speech he already had a long drawn out speech written in advance, he knew he would loose before the votes were cast.
Romney still won 11 States to Huck’s 8 states and Romney didn’t even run in the last 11 primaries.
Huck never beat Romney in the delegate count or votes.

Everyone has to remember that Clear Channel Communications is now owned by Romney’s Bain Capital and Thomas H Lee Partners. That is the fountain head from which nearly all the political pundits from Dick Morris, Sean Hanity to Rush Limbaugh all have contracts for their talk radio programs. Even Salem communications carry many of these shows as well. This article was cleverly written to imply that the “insiders” were from Mike Huckabee’s camp when in reality these “insiders” are other pundits and not from inside the Huckabee camp. Mike Huckabee said in his own words when asked several weeks ago about the VP offer, that its “the job that nobody wants but the job that nobody turns down.” This statement was publicized on Fox News network. In other words look for more articles that skillfully imply this so as to leave the impression that McCain shouldn’t consider asking Mike Huckabee for the VP position.

You can bet that Romney is quietly competing for the VP nod and will trickle down his influence through his now very own media connection, Clear Channel Communications, to try to stimulate his supporters to put public pressure on McCain for this and I hope McCain is already wise to it because a McCain Romney ticket would be horrible for a fall election and dysfunctional for the White House.

I will have a statement on my blog about this at classysinger.wordpress.com tonight and on other blogs as well just in case my comment here is censored from publication.

Comment by MK in Arizona

A McCain/Romney ticket would be the only way I can see McCain winning in November. Romney balances out all of McCains weaknesses and he would obviously be more than qualified to take over if something should happen to McCain. It is the only way to bring back those conservatives that say they won’t vote McCain. There is also a lot of underground enthusiasm for Romney and people would jump at the chance to support him in any way possible. I think most people see Huckabee as slightly amusing but don’t really think of him as a serious candidate and he would not bring anything to the ticket. Oh, and all you Bain conspiricy theorists need to get a life! Maybe you and the “grassy knoll” fanatics should get together.

I haven’t forgotten Iowa. That’s when all the anti-Mormon sentiment. That is the wrong way to go about trying to win an election, attacking someone’s religion. Mormons love the USA just I do and like he does. I’m assuming he loves this country since he was running for the highest office in the land. There other religions who want to do harm to the USA., but not the Mormons. Huckabee may have won the Iowa caucus, but he lost the respect of many conservatives like myself and members of my family. We are Protestants. Thank you.

I hope somebody in Fox News reads this. I am so disappointed in you. I used to watch your shows often; but, not any more like I did. You treated Mike Huckabee and Hillary Clinton shabbily. You mocked, criticized and casted seeds of doubt in people’s minds about the candidates. It was obvious who your favorites were.

You’ve changed. What happened to you? I’ve lost faith in you people. I don’t believe anything you say anymore. There is so much negativism on your shows…gives me the creeps listening to so much arguing. Are you that unhappy?

I noticed Mike Huckabee didn’t get as much as air time as some of your favorite candidates did. At times, there were technical problems with the audio when he came on; but, when other candidates were on…my oh my…their words were clear as a bell. I was so offended by the way Hillary Clinton was criticized so much. I’m a Republican and I didn’t vote for her; but, right is right. Everyone should be treated fairly. After all, we are Americans.

In the immediate time, we have to make sure that we pay all the bills of the campaign and end in the black, help our staff find ways to earn a living, and make sure that we don’t lose the momentum of the past 14 months, but instead follow the plan:

Mike Huckabee cult members its time to let it go. Your horse is out of the race, and now its time to clean up the mess he made. I wish it had turned out differently because I enjoyed the discussions we had, and I think that we were starting to get some intelligent thought from some of you. Now that opportunity is gone. Many of you will lapse into your comas, but some of you have shown enough independence that I have confidence you will not mindlessly support a political candidate in the future. For those of you who don’t have sufficient “spine” to think for yourselves, good luck in getting anyone outside your cult to listen to you.

McCain still is not winning over many of the conservatives, including me. We have one of the poorest choices ever for the Republican nominee. I resent the fact the GOP leadership forced McCain on us. He never could have made the come back without their workings “behind the scenes”. I am voting “Other” for President. Let the consequences be what they may.

As for Huckabee. What a joke of a candidate. His followers refuse to look at his liberal record. The only thing conservative about him is he’s pro-life.

I’ve left the Republican party because of the so called base made up of Southern Baptists. It is unthinkable that they slander to the extreme another religion that is completely peaceful and humanitarian based. I want absolutely nothing to do with their intolerance and lies. They have lost my support and my donations. In fact, I won’t ever vote for a Southern Baptist/Evangelical. They have shown their true colors and it’s not pretty.

The fact that Mike Huckabee made it so far with the limited resources he had…to me is a win for Huckabee.

Comment by River

I’m not a Souther Baptist and I voted for Huckabee.

Comment by Jenn

Actual votes for Huckabee 3,918,305 (2008 primaries)

12 million people did not vote Huckabee in republican primaries.
Don’t think Huck will get these 12 million in 2012 either.

Well Jenn, I must say, that’s sort of a negative post you got there. Never say never.

Comment by River

In the 2000 Presidential Primary John McCain had 6,070,050 votes with 243 delegates and he was well known at the time. George W. Bush had 12,089,564 with 1,601 delegates.

Well, River I said he would never win the 2008 presidential nominee, he didn’t so I was sure right on that, and I’ll go so far as to say he will never be president of USA
He can never, never win in majority of the States.

Comment by Pachyderm for Huckabee

I will only vote on election day if Huckabee is the VP running mate. As a socially conservative political science teacher for many years, I am shocked and disappointed that McCain is the GOP nominee. He uses the f- word on the Senate floor regularly, is a hot-headed communicator, and is likely unfaithful to his wife. McCain is repulsive to white, evangelical 30-somethings who adore Bush. Without Huckabee on his ticket, McCain has NO chance of getting millions of conservative votes.

I hope Huckabee runs in 2012. He will spak Mitt Romney this time. Huckabee is the true conservative.

Comment by River Runs Through It

The fact that Huckabee squandered his limited resources in a campaign that he knew will not get him anywhere is very poor judgment on his part. Definitely will not vote for a President or a Vice President who doesn’t seem to know when to stop!

Romney won 11 States

Huck won 8
Romney wasn’t even the last 11 primaries and had more votes than Huck
Facts are stuborn things…

Huckabee Forever!
Romney NEVER!

Comment by Sandy

Romney beat Huck and was not even in the last 11 primaries.
Facts are stubborn things….

Huck is still begging for money on his web site……he isn’t smart enough to earn it like Romney.

So I said, “What about voting for Huckabee?”
She said, “I think I remember that man,
And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked him.”
And I said, “Well, he’s the best hope we’ve got.”

“Over time, however, the constant massage of fear lost its punch. When we didn’t get hit with another devastating terrorist attack, the regular warnings about Code Orange or Code Red no longer caused people to change travel plans, but instead became fodder for late-night comedy monologues. Fear had indeed brought America together for a short time, but fear could not sustain us as a nation. We will rise to our feet from fear, but it takes hope to keep us standing for the long term.”

That was Mike Huckabee’s quote right above this post.

I’m glad McCain won because Mit is a NI**ER lover and McCain knows where to put the NI**ERs when he becomes President.

Sean Hannity and Hal Turner know how to hate NI*G*Rs. I watch him every night. Sometimes he brings a NI*G*R on his show and rips that blacky a new backside. When will those darkies learn that they will NEVER get anywhere as long as real WHITE Americans are still living here?

due to Fox news bias coverage of Mike Huckabee I no longer watch or listen to it.

Most of you people have not been around as long as I have been, as I remember when all we had to listen to was: ABC,CBS,NBC, and they elected the Presidents. They are so biased and they still try to manipulate the American People as to vote for. Of course, it is OBAMA that they want to elect, along with Teddy, Pelosi, Howard Dean, Al Gore, and some of the others that want the Clinton’s out so bad and I can understand that because I am conservative and proud of it and truly thankful that after all these years that we have a channel that we can listen to and get the conservative side. Of course, the Dems are going to try and stop all of the conservative shows, because as most of youall have noticed the Liberals radio programs, etc. do not do as well and no one stops to think that we have a lot of silent majority CHRISTIAN people in this world and we know who to trust in and it is certainly is not the news media. If we get OBAMA, the American people are going to think that President Bush looks like a wonderful KING compared to Obama. Obama does not understand the American People and their Faith. We do not go to church and listen to someone like his pastor, because we would not sit and listen to someone like him. Our God is an Awesome God, He Reigns in Heaven on high and my pastor would NEVER say the things about our country that Obama’s pastor says. I cannot judge his pastor, but I have never heard a Christian Pastor talk like Obama’s pastor does, so I think that Obama is really confused about the Love of God and his Mercy. God is Good ALL THE TIME! We that love the Lord depend on him from day to day, hour to hour, minute to minute and he is our Guide. No matter what happens in our world, I want God on my side 24/7. He is the way, the only way, to Eternal Life in Christ Jesus! I sure wish that our country and our American People would all wake up before it is too late. We as Christians have nothing to fear, absent with the body, PRESENT with the LORD!
I think that it is a real turnoff that Mike Huckabee has gone and gotten himself a job with some agency in California. It shows me that he is all about MONEY! Money is not the most important thing in Life and I really thought that would not be the case until Huckabee kept pushing & pushing to make more money everyday. It shows me that he is truly a politician, Money is at the top of his list. What a Shame?
