I am a veteran (gulf war). Besides the dirty politics (name bashing, etc.) these obama folks play, they don’t understand that their leader is not equipped to lead our military. I have been a registered democrat for the past 16 years – (GO HILLARY), but find myself accepting that I may have to retire my dem hat and vote republican (for the sake of our military and country).

Please, don’t let that happen………………. GO HILLARY! 2008!

Brenda in SCb – please stop being one-sided and google the man – wright. Also people….Clinton tried again (in vain – blew up in face again) to taint Obama with Farrakhan in the debate. Did ya see the youtube of Governor Rendell praising Farrakhan to the point that i thought he was gonna toss his salad? Did you know that Clinton pardonned two of the Weather Underground folks and his other criminals from his drug cartel days in Mena, Arkansas. Did you know that HRC’s brothers gave up half a mill for those Ayers’ folks’ underground. Did you know that Peter Paul is suing Bill Clinton et al and your girl is going to have to testify with others in re her lying abt fundraising money? Don’t talk about slimy associations of Obama until you view the Clinton Chronicles online. Hey, did you know she also is buddy’s with Rezko. I don’t know why Obama hasn’t hurled the Kitchen Sink at her…it would take years…..but that crew is the absolute slimiest in America History and folks know it. Educate yourself…and btw, Pastor Wright’s resume is so incredible…this man is a veteran and basically, like a yound Ayers, wanted only really to serve the poor….some of the methods are indeed questionable…but EDUCATE YOURSELF please. Hillary and her crew – bill and his thugs are crooked as heck…they are even responsible for the deaths of two young boys in arkansas who witnessed a drug drop and bill is an addict (cocaine) and your girl Hillary is a liar and probably a drunk.

Nick Mitchell – good catch but no hurt feelings. We as a race have learned to accept racism on ALL levels from ALL kinds of people. It’s just amazing that people still think the way they do. Is this 2008 or 1868? But it is comforting to know that people (like yourself) who I assume is Non-African American are also aware. We AAs have very thick skins, have dealt with it for centuries and can only HOPE that one day, our society will get over it and get on with the Real business at hand.

Can I just say something about McCain. I don’t believe that HE believes anything he says or does. I’m not saying that b/c I am a Dem. who supports Obama. Is anyone else feeling me here? I don’t even think this man really wants to be President. I really don’t. He just seems like he’s going through the motions for whatever reason…but there seems to be no passion, purpose, drive or anything. Now I kinda liked him during the second Primary after he lost Iowa….but have to be honest that I didn’t know much about him…..i.e., the issues, etc., but he seemed harmless and likeable enough. I guess if I believed that HE believed anything he has said lately (including the various flip-flops) I could kinda have a bit more “something” for him. He’s insignificant and a mouthpiece and not even a good mouthpiece at that. I don’t know “what’s behind this guy.”

Comment by ll – I’m going to try to give you the benefit, because you clearly are not African-American. I am. I will not vote for Obama b/c he is an AA. The other two choices (if you really want to call them that) don’t work. It’s insulting and ignorant for you and other (“I’m assuming unintelligible Caucausions”), would even try to push that stance. I’m not going to Not vote for him cause he’s AA. He’s the best candidate and you know it but are probably racist. That’s just like saying that all these so-called rural folks are voting for Hillary b/c they are Caucasian. Don’t blanket statement me. Most AAs are up on the issues and believe me when I tell you, we can hardly believe what a viable candidate we have, and he happens to indeed be AA. Stop being a racist and stop insulting folks.

I just want to apologize to any African Americans who have been hurt by comments on this blog. Unfortunately, as is painfully clear here, we still have a long way to go to combat the racism of white supremacists.

The Bush family has quite a history of trying to eliminate our democracy. They are still at it.
Hatred has been encouraged by this administration though the use of fear. We shall overcome!

all it takes is for ms clinton to say something or twist something mr obama says and all the other people fall in line.the latest remark mr obama said was taken way out of content how can so many people read into things so much. mr obama was clearly saying when all else in your life is going bad, job,high gas price, health insurance. most people cling to something to make them feel appreaciated or good. their family, religion, hunting ect. this is clearly what the man meant and for ms clinton and rest of the follow the leader crew say anything to get elected people want you to believe he meant something else. i live in a very small town and not for one minute i thought mr obama was looking down on us small town american.even with his maybe unfortinate choice of words i still see mr obama as a good man with good intention i see ms clinton as do anything to get elected person, win at all cause even if it means loosing everthing just to get something. she is willing to do that. do she honestly care about working people when she earn $140 mil how can she feel my pain my advise to mr obama is to keep up the good work. the closer the date get to the nomination the naster ms clinton will get.she wants it all and she wants it now oh and for one minute if you thing the people is south louisiana is not bitter just catch a plain oh i forgot like mccain said its our fault we made the wrong decision in life deal with it

Rev Wright and the Trinity Church – there is no way you can jestify your ignorance and hate that your present at your church and since Obama continues his relationship with you and this church that only believes in taking care of the black community and united a black nation. A church who allows their reverend to state there and call fellow Americans of the Jewish faith or the Italian race names, a reverend who tries to preach hatred for our country and our government. You even took the time of bereavement and prey at a funeral to reach our in a political undertone toward media personel, if I was a family member or friend, I would be very disappointed in my minister at this time as well as a so called friend.

You have taught Obama to look down his nose at white Americans, at poor Americans and at Americans who may not have had the opportunities provided by the white grandparents to go to college.

Shame on you for claiming to be a man of the cloth and shame on Obama for claiming to be a christian American.

Neither of you have earned the respect of this christian Amerian and Obama will not get my vote and with every breath I speak I will try to unite my fellow Americans against him.

Shame on you – but God will remember when you stand before him.
