Comment by NO LONGER DEMOCRAT

The end result is that McCain will be the next president if the Democrats are so narrow minded to nominate Obama. This man is not electable. Most Hilary supportes will vote McCain. If the democrats think they will win the white house without the vote of the middle class they are the ones who are not in touch with this country. I AM DISGUSTED AND I AM CHANGING TO INDEPENDENT - I am soooo done with the democratic party!!

Comment by barbara e

If necessary we will convince Clinton to run as an independent. Iran is just waiting to see if Obama becomes president. I guess that is their go ahead to bomb Israel. If Clinton runs as an independent then Obama has no change of winning.

I am a HILLARY CLINTON supporter who will now be supporting McCain. I voted for Bush the last time. The economy did not turn out the way it should but I don’t totally blame that on him. The reason I am now supporting McCain. I believe him to be a honest, pro-military maN and will not just walk away from Iraq like we did in Viet Nam. I am a retired Army veteran with 28 years of service. I know how humilating it is when your own country will not stand behind you. But, the main reason I am switching parties is because HILLARY’S Supporters and Obama Supporters need to go on the Web and pull up TRINITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR NEW REVEREND OTIS MOSS, who to quote OBAMA SAID, “WAS A VERY FINE YOUNG MAN AND PASTOR.” Please take note of the ? REV. MOSS comments in his Easter Sermon, “MOSES IS A THUG,” “ABRAHAM IS A PIMP,” “JACOB IS A THUG,” “JESUS WAS LYNCHED BETWEEN THUGS,” “GOD LOVES THUGS,” WORST COMMENT OF ALL, “RAPPER SHAKUR IS A PROPHET.” “AMERICAN GOVERNMENT FURNISHES DRUGS AND THE HIV VIRUS TO THE BLACK COMMUNITY,” “THE REV. WRIGHT WAS RIGHT ON IN HIS SERMONS.” This is the fine young man OBAMA calls an outstanding preacher. I AM ONE MORE LOST DEMOCRAT WHO IS NOW A FULL TIME REPUBLICAN.

Here it is the DNC phone number 877-336-7200 tell them, it is they that will force democrats to vote republican if Obama is nominated.

DNC PHONE NUMBER 877-336-7200 take action, voice your complaint

If Barack Obama, does get the nomination… I will give my vote to John McCain. I’m a life long democrat. Race isn’t the issue. Not only is he un-American he is anti-American. Please go to the Democrat National party web site and Email them and let them know that you will not support Barack Obama. Let them know that they are making a huge mistake that will damage this country, therefore you’ll leave the party and join and support the Republican party. There are millions of Clinton supporters who will never vote for Obama, let the know you’re one of them.

Please post you’re comments on this issue on every national media site, let the media know that this isn’t just hyperbole it’s a fact… we are out here. Let them see the masses, they’ll report and we’ll make a difference.

God Bless America

Thanks

Being a foreigner(English) - I can’t understand how you voted Bush in twice, the man has not ever earnt anything and lets face it can not even string sentences together yet you voted him in as President, McCain is better but confused two warring factions in Iraq twice and hes meant to be running on his foreign policy experience
You have a failing economy, you are losing young men and women in Iraq as are we and now you want to go after Iran!!!

The real target was Bin Laden and couldn’t get him, having served in the first Iraq war we could have got Saddam.
You got fooled and only because of fear went after Iraq as as an easy target.

Now Obama and Clinton want to get out from Iraq and Obama wants to go after Bin Laden, the real target, I really do not understand why people cannot see this

This is one of the reasons I am NOT voting for John McCain.

USA Today — More than 43,000 U.S. troops listed as medically unfit for combat in the weeks before their scheduled deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan since 2003 were sent anyway, Pentagon records show.
This reliance on troops found medically “non-deployable” is another sign of stress placed on a military that has sent 1.6 million servicemembers to the war zones, soldier advocacy groups say.

“It is a consequence of the consistent churning of our troops,” said Bobby Muller, president of Veterans For America. “They are repeatedly exposed to high-intensity combat with insufficient time at home to rest and heal before redeploying.”

The numbers of non-deployable soldiers are based on health assessment forms filled out by medical personnel at each military installation before a servicemember’s deployment.

According to those statistics, the number of troops that doctors found non-deployable, but who were still sent to Iraq or Afghanistan fluctuated from 10,854 in 2003, down to 5,397 in 2005, and back up to 9,140 in 2007.

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HAS ABUSED OUR TROOPS ENOUGH!!!!!

Your posts are tired. You either never served in uniform, or got booted for some reason. You obviously have a chip on your shoulder. You refuse to consider national interests, and the far reaching implications thereof.

People in uniform volunteered. They put the national interest ahead of themselves - a concept foreign to you.

Do something useful and help clean up some of the mess on Peachtree in your own blackyard.

I’m afraid you’re all wrong. Barak Obama WILL be elected the next president of the United States. You may want to save this e-Mail as an “I told you so.” If HRC runs as an independent, McCain could win hands down, but she won’t. In order to insure that she DOESN’T run as an independent, BO would pick her as a running mate, whether he, she, Bill, or Howard wants to admit it or not. It’s obvious she has no chance of securing the democratic nomination, but as an independent, she’d wreak havoc on BO’s plans. The DNC knows that.

Comment by Kathmandu

Mark in SC

I agree that Obama will be elected the next President. He is the anointed one. Hillary will not be his VP. Her campaign was too negative against him and therefore can not be trusted. A Clinton-like woman would make a good running mate, maybe Kathleen Sebellius.

Comment by Mark in SC

Somehow, I don’t think she’ll bow out gracefully. It’s not in her nature. Remember, although it was a more civilized campaign between Bush and Reagan when they ran against each other in the ‘80 Republican primary, they both ran negative adds against each other. Reagan chose bush as his running mate. BO’s electability can increase exponentially if he picks her as a running mate. Also, as VP, that takes her significance down to zero (she and Bill can’t say anything negative about him AND she couldn’t callenge him in Congress).
Think about it.

White Rule Victimized Blacks

By the time the six Klan founders met in December, 1865, the opening phase of Reconstruction was nearly complete. All eleven of the former rebel states had been rebuilt on astonishingly lenient terms which allowed many of the ex-Confederate leaders to return to positions of power. Southern state legislatures began enacting laws that made it clear that the aristocrats who ran them intended to yield none of their pre-war power over poor whites and especially over blacks. These laws became known as the Black Codes and in some cases they amounted to a virtual re-enslavement of blacks.

In Louisiana the Democratic convention resolved that “we hold this to be a Government of White People, made and to be perpetuated for the exclusive benefit of the White Race, and….that the people of African descent cannot be considered as citizens of the United States.”

Ironically, the increasingly violent activities of the Klan throughout 1866 tended to help prove the argument of Radical Republicans in the North, who wanted harsher measures taken against Southern governments as part of their program to force equal treatment for blacks. Partly as a result of news reports of Klan violence in the South, the Radicals won overwhelming victories in the Congressional elections of 1866.

None of you seem to understand that a vote for Clinton OR McCain means 4 more years of Bush policy. Higher fuel cost, higher food cost, higher everything cost. My reason for stating this is as follows:
Remember who the Clinton’s travel around with. . .Bush Senior. In case none of you remember, Bill Clinton and George Bush Senior did speaking engagements and fund raisers for a few years TOGETHER after Bill Clinton’s term ended and I’m sure Hillary was present at most of these. Do you think that relationship will just be cut off if Hillary wins, OPEN YOUR MINDS AND THINK FOR A MINUTE. Second, most of her speeches are coined on what SHE is going to do as if she will be running the whole government alone. Sen. Obama wants to unite the USA as it should be for the good of all not just the oil company executives as it has been for the last eight years. McCain is the same story. There will be no change from the current policy if he is elected. Sorry the only change will be the prices of everything going up and the war casualties adding up. Clinton has lied oops “mis-spoke” on several occasions and she hasn’t even gotten in the White House yet. At least Bush had gotten in office before the mis-speaking, cabinet investigations and firings of dishonest officials of his team started. Yes it is time for change and a new movement in government. Not because of the race or gender of the person, that fact means absolutely NOTHING in the face of the true issues in our country now being suffered under the present REPUBLICAN president:
*A TRILLION DOLLAR DEBT.

*A WAR started on false information financed at a billion dollars per day.

*The highest job loss and company closures since the depression.

*Uncontrolled gouging of the American public on fuel cost based on false shortages.

*Misuse of funds. and on and on and on.

No the race nor gender doesn’t mean crap if the candidate will not be allowed to bring all the resources together to start working on these issues and give us the facts instead of a load of mis-spoken BS. And no I’m not a republican hater, I am a voter who is now independent (former republican) who wants the best for this country. Clinton and McCain are not going to give that because of their ties with the present president. Also for those of you who want to raise the “experience” issue. The Bush family had years of experience in government, former Governors, former CIA head, even former President, did all that “experience” help this country at all? With the Katrina disaster, the very weak dollar, the war, oil prices, job losses, the foreclosure situation and a host of may other issues if you can sit there and say yes and vote for Clinton or McCain based on the fact that Obama doesn’t have decades of experience, just remember that one of the greatest presidents John F Kennedy was faced with the same obstacle and Nixon played that “inexperience” card in his efforts to beat him. Fortunately it didn’t work as it will not work this time if people take time to really look at what has happened to our country lately, make the decision that there must be CHANGE, put the racial fears aside and vote for OBAMA!! If not I hope you’ve got a spare bicycle at your home to go to work on and land to grow your own food!

Comment by walter Hanna

Folks, maybe the reason Hillary wants to finish this even after she is falling is to simply get the voter numbers as a independent she needs to know what is going on in all 50 states. it seems that a decision may happen after the primaries. this is not about the $10,000,000 she spend out of her pocket, it is about being an independent. Don’t you think if she ran as an independent, money would come pouring in. Bill may be what you think of him, but I have been following politices for a long time, this man is A “SCHREWD” POLITICAN. He is well in front of the curve. he knows how to work the people to his advantage. don’t think for one minute that he is not the leader in her strategy.

Comment by MO from OH

Ok Sigamon. There is some truth to your comments. The reason we did not go after Saddam the first time was that the world did not support it. You “Euro’s” were all up in arms over any continuation of the first Gulf Campaign. I know I was there too Mr. Fish ‘n’ Chips. This time we went against what the world thought because all the Euro’s know how to do is sit back and complain about everything we do because you are jealous of our position in the World. As many problems as we have right now we still swing the big hammer. If we are so stupid then why is “Not so Great” Britain our biggest ally? McCain would have made the better President in 2000. However the Republican party and most of this country feared that Gore would have brought this country to it’s knees. And he would have. Look how his predictions are turning out. Bush did a great job in his first 4 years. After 9/11 we needed a gunslinging cowboy in the drivers seat. But I do agree with you that the invasion of Iraq was started at a precise time in order to insure Bush’s re-election. The Dems would have pulled out right away and most of us felt that we should see it out. The problem with Bush is that not enough attention was given to the “homefront”. War can consume you to the point where you can’t even remember the basics. There are no clear goals for Iraq other than to keep a close eye on Iran by making Iraq an ally. Mr. Obama is a fine man but is not a good fit right now. McCain will only do 4 years. Then I think an older and wiser dose of Obama would be nice. Remember, it’s not what (or how) you say, it’s what you do and Great Britain hasn’t done anything in a long time.

Comment by MO from OH

Enough with the ranting Anthony! What I want to know is what are the Dems going to do? Pointing out problems is the easy part. How are you going to fix them? You are the guy at the quarterly meeting giving rise to the obvious but have no solution to any of the problems. Before the Dems raise taxes (and let’s face it….they will be raised sometime) I want wasteful government programs done away with. McCain is the only candidate talking about that. If you vote for Hillary or Barack you’ve just written a blank check. I work very hard 60-70 hours a week at my two jobsThe last thing I want is to give guitar hero playing tools like yourself my hard-earned money to go purchase a new plasma tv or an i-pod. This is why the Dems won’t get elected this year either. I wish you guys would offer up a JFK type candidate, then I would vote for ya. Companies are closing because Clinton’s Nafta made it possible for employers to make their wares cheaper somewhere else or they would be better off financially to just close the doors.

And finally Anthony, take your time and write this down. The greater majority of Americans do not and I repeat do “NOT” want the Government making their decisions for them, like a government run health care system would. Like a govenrment run disaster relief operation. Fuel prices are not ever going to come down and neither are food prices. It is simple supply and demand. You better figure out a way to deal with them both because the government sure isn’t.

The Rise of Obamanism Phenomena in America.

It is mind bugling to me to see the rise of Obamanism phenomena in America. Maybe I am wrong and maybe I am sad but I see how socialists and radical liberals manipulating truth and hitting right notes to appeal their radical agenda on hard working people in this country. Yes, it is true - we are tired of old Washington politics. Yes, we are over taxed and making less money and paying more at the gas stations and supper markets. Yes, we are losing jobs that are moved out of country. Yes, our foreign policy stinks and we are losing prestige and power. Yes, we need immigration reforms and need to secure our borders. Yes, yes and yes to so many issues we as Americans have to deal with and we are in desperate need of change but not the trough the Obamanism but the trough the true patriotic desire and optimism backed with real solutions and great compromises. Americans in desperate need of hope for the better future and not just words, words alone do not bring results but rather deeper disappointments. Americans are suffering in many aspects of their lives. We lost our identity and pride and cannot find our identity nor pride yet, we need a leader who can revive us all and without true American leader we will fall to new Obamanism phenomena and Obamanists are taking advantage in pursing they a hidden agenda trough the promises of “hope” and “change” to bring new socialistic reforms for this county.

Is Rev. Wright contagious American flue?

People like Rev. Wright is out of touch with the current events in America. It is very clear that people like him willing to use racial issues we facing today in America in order to advance their true agenda - promoting Islamic radicalism in America. Rev. Wright rubs his intelligence and knowledge of the African-American history in the wrong way, twisting historical events and philosophical studies about race in order to justify his own radical and political views. People like him are very contagious for Americans even more so for African-Americans. By manipulating truth and historical events Wright Phenomenon inserts division and hate among the races without addressing real issues that African-Americans facing today. Our racial differences are not the problem but deficiency of the knowledge of the races is and those issues have been ignored by many for so long. As long as we ignoring real and honest discussion about race in America, we will allow people like Rev. Wright to take advantage of the situation. The question is: how can we Americans’ resolve the issue of deficiency of the knowledge on the race in this country and prevent “wright” epidemic from sinking deep into the minds of average people? For example, education is most powerful and important medicine in overcoming this “wright” epidemic. Perhaps, build strong communities and community activists that can bring people all races under the roof and work with people on the daily basis in order to boost feeling self-pride and self-importance and understanding and embracing diversity instead of running from it. We must to thrive on diversity because only with that we can reject “wright” epidemic flue contamination on American society.
