Senator McCain is very much more informed on the issue of economics than the left wing media and Democrat Party (noun vs. adjective) than they will admit to. His saying that economic issues are not a strong suit, is spin-doctor, over blown.
However, he must, simply must, address the critical issue of out of control gas prices. Along with the Republican Party, he better wise up to the fact that Congress is the greatest barrier to “enegry indepedence” than are big oil companies. Energy independence has taken on the obscene traits of an empty political motto. If we fail to open up oil drilling in Alaska on our shore lines, and move to nuclear energy, we will continue to look like barnyard fools; China, India, Brazil will never, ever, accept Democrat Party, left-wing, carbon chastity.
In addition to these matters, Oil Cartels are not our problem, we are. “Greens” are figmants of failed Socialism, Maoism, Fascism and Communism; they want individual Americans to be subjugated to the state. The idea of a viable Brave New World or Big Brother of 1984 is dying a too slow death, thanks to the left and extreme left personified by Barak Obama and his wife, Michelle.
Our personal, national independence and freedom are being undermined by visionless politicians and the destructive, environmentally Presidential Candidates, Obama and McCain. The latter might win even if he stubbornly refuses to embrace domestic energy sources, because Obama is such a deceitful man and could make John McCain the next “Accidental President.”
There is no doubt many people were not THERE with the Carter years. I was. I had a baby that we had to ration food and milk over 5 days at a time because we had NO I repeat NO gas in the gas stations except on Thursdays and the county sheriff’s department was on guard at every station where we were RATIONED the gas at 10 gallons with odd and even numbers to get in line. I REMEMBER THIS. I REMEMBER the humiliation we had in Tehran hostage situation.
Carter does not deserve the time if day.
At this writing there is MASSIVE expansions ready to gear with tens of thousands of craft jobs ready to place in about 30 days. Companies are about to do something. THe problem is democrats, just like the Carter days.
Why isn’t anything being mentioned about Obama raised as a musilum achooled with terriorists and the FACT that during a democrate ralley he ‘REFUSED’ to salute the flag or say our anthem??????????? Please advise me. And the people want him as a President!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In my opinion , Fox’s strategy targets Freedom of Speech.
Unfortunately, McCain has absolutely not chance against Obama, and I am a solid Republican feeling this way. McCain is not willing to do what it takes to win but will allow himself to be whipped by the Democraps while they beat him with the same plays that they cry foul over.
I’ve got a question for you, McCain? How can you call yourself conservative on taxes, when you didn’t originally vote for President Bush’s tax cuts? We need a real conservative, Bob Barr 2008.
The McCain Loyalty Oath for Women
I _____________ pledge to transfer my support from Hillary Clinton to John McCain. I agree to do all I can do to get McCain the vote. In order to achieve this noble goal I promise to support McCain’s…
* fight to overturn Roe v. Wade and my right to choose.
* fight against equal pay for men and women.
* opposition to providing low-income and uninsured women and families with health care services ranging from breast and cervical cancer screening to birth control.
* opposition to sex education and support of abstinence-only education.
* making birth control covered by insurance.
* endorsement of women’s rights more “in theory” than in practice.
* pet name for his wife.
As a woman I promise to apply McCain’s principles to my own life and vow to…
* call myself and my female friends the C word.
* picket abortion clinics.
* not use contraceptives.
* drink bleach so I don’t catch HIV and drink Mountain due so I don’t get pregnant.
* give back part of my salary to male coworkers.
* not vote, but pursue education and encourage my father/husband/brother male friends to vote for McCain.
Once McCain is elected, I will continue to support him and I will not complain about my losing my right to choose, and other reproductive freedoms. And I will continue to refrain from pursuing equality for women.
Sincerely,

OH Please tell McCain to get a little more passionate and nasty!!!! Stop being so nice…this is a major battle and it requires passion! I am a democrat voting for McCain, but please the demeanor of a candidate has to be one at war!!!!!!
Carl Cameron is in the tank for McCain and the Republican Party and has been since the beginning. For those of you who have forgotten, Cameron committed journalistic fraud during the 2004 presidential election when he fabricated several statements by John Kerry. Fox News admitted he made them up to the AP and USA Today, but he was never fired for it.
Keep shilling Carl, it won’t make a difference. You’re going to lose in November, and Obama is going to shut your weasel asses out of the white house press core.
McCain consistantly demonstrates he has some sort of mental problem. He has shown that he does not know the differences between tribes in Iraq. McCain states over and over that he wishes to remain in Iraq for 100 years then says a few days later he did not mean to say that. McCain now says it does not matter when the troops come home! Now, Sen. John McCain appeared on the Today Show this morning and continued to promote a long occupation in Iraq. When asked if he knew when American troops could start to return home, McCain responded: “No, but that’s not too important. What’s important is the casualties in Iraq.” Once again McCain says he did not to mean to say this. What does McCain mean to say?
iI heard John Mccain cannot use a computer. HaHAHA. Elect a semi illiterate for Presiden. HoHoHo
It strikes me as hypocrytical that Senator Obama would select “A long time Washington Insider” to select his VP, when he has been so critical of this group…
Does not seem to be managing things well… What’s new?

Who Cares? Ron Paul is who AMERICANS want. He’s READ the Constitution!

I can’t wait for the DEBATE!
Vote OBAMA!
I ALWAYS KNEW THAT FOX NEWS IS A BASTION OF RIGHT WING RACISTS BUT I NEVER THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE SO OVERT ABOUT IT. WHO SAYS RACISM DOES NOT EXIST IN AMERICA? THIS NETWORK IS FRUSTRATED BY OBAMA’S CANDIDACY. ITS FRUSTRATION WILL BE MORE EVIDENT IN THE COMING MONTHS.
Dear Carl and Fox news:
Three questions for Senator Obama. Do you support the from each according to his ability to each according to his needs tax program (as in your recent statement in the Economist regarding ristribution of cash to poor and middle class)? Do you support a progressive income tax system that takes more from one and gives to another? How can you justify the legality of these programs, the 4th amendment ? the 16th amendment ?
Senator Liberman was correct Senator B.H. Obama is a Marxist by his own words and proposals.
Obama will actually be worse than Carter if you can believe that.
Misery Index: Carter = 16.27
Bush = 8.01
Clinton = 7.80
No matter what you think of him, Bush really didn’t do that bad.
Obama will break Carter’s record easily, and that will break Americans backs.
I guess I’m a conservative democrat. I have no problem voting for McCain this fall. I’ve lived long enough to know that politicians can’t really DO all that they promise in elections, and especially when they’re just a novice. Congress can (but won’t) do much of anything either. So basically, very little will change because we CAN’T cut and run from Iraq, & congress WON’T do anything about the economy. I don’t want all the new taxes Obama will bring, even though that’s the dem way. I want someone who WILL take a stand, who WILL be a proud American, who WILL protect my children from radical extremists, and who WILL salute our flag. My country is precious, even if not perfect. I don’t want it disrespected by those who only want to CHANGE it.
My reason for PUMA!
I don’t trust McCain. He’s pretending to be a conservative when so many of his votes were against conservative values and principles. He thinks conservatives will just vote for him like sheep, thinking they have “nowhere else to go.”
There is a price to be paid for now saying one thing and doing another in the past, Mr. McCain. Bob Barr is a true conservative. It would be better for conservatives to teach a lesson to the party now, let McCain lose, and then win back the congress in a landslide in 2010 and then recapture the White House with a real conservative in 2012.
The hypocrisy of John McCain is revolting.He calls Obama a liberal as if he were not.This is like calling the kettle black,or is that to be perceived as a racist comment?Do you liberals ever stop to think that people may be turned off by Obama because he is too liberal?Or are you so blinded by your hatred of America to think that there might be any non-racist motivations left in us.Conservatives are disgusted by McCain’s liberal views just as much as by Obama’s.How can that be racist?

I agree with DE – remember the Carter days. The Tehran hostage situation embarrassed all us Americans, while Carter ran around the Rose Garden.
BTW – Check out the AOL straw poll of 6/13 – 6/20/08. Shows McCain leading with 55% to his opponent with 45%. Surprising because I always thought most AOL account holders were liberal thinkers. Pleasant surprise!
